I'm super excited to announce that after many months of planning, the first ever Lower Tiers World Cup is officially happening! I've been working on putting this together since the start of the year and want to thank everyone that was involved in helping get this off the ground as well as the fantastic folks who have volunteered to host. Lower Tiers World Cup is an (unofficial, for now!) team tournament which gives players from lower tier communities the opportunity to collaborate in a uniquely fun team environment whilst WCOP is happening. The aim is for this tour to be a current-gen focused tour which provides higher quality games than the usual lower tier subforum world cups and allows lower tier players to experience representing their countries. Although this isn't an official tournament, the prize for the winning team is a Custom Forum Banner (lasting 12 months or until the next iteration of LTWC) and a Custom Avatar!

The format for the 2025 edition of LTWC is as follows:
10 Slots - 2 x RU / 2 x NU / 2 x PU / 2 x LC / 1 x Monotype / 1 x ZU

The format for the 2025 edition of LTWC is as follows:
10 Slots - 2 x RU / 2 x NU / 2 x PU / 2 x LC / 1 x Monotype / 1 x ZU
- Rosters will follow standard WCOP rules and be grandfathered in from those pre existing eligibilities, e.g whatever eligibility you have for WCOP carries over to LTWC.
- There will be no qualifying stage for this edition of LTWC. We will begin in the pools stage and progress into playoffs, essentially mirroring the WCOP format.
