Ludicolo [0/2]

[OVERVIEW]
Ludicolo acts like a fantastic wallbreaker for Rain teams Thanks to it's excellent speed under rain which allows it to outspend almost the entire metagame while inflicting considerable damage to Pokemon that do not have resistances to its STABs. Its typing give it neutrality to the Grass type, a very useful asset for a Wallbreaker in the rain.

[SET]
name: Rain wallbreaker
move 1: Rain Dance
move 2: Hydro Pump
move 3: Giga-Drain
move 4: Ice Beam

ability: Swift Swim
nature: Modest
evs: 252 Spa / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Ludicolo acts like a fantastic wallbreaker for Rain teams. Indeed, it’s strong STAB in Hydro Pump boosted by the rain is able of 2HKO special walls like Audino or Articuno. Its other STAB in Giga-Drain gives it useful coverage that allows it to hit other Water types that resist Hydro Pump while providing him with a passive heal that increases his staying power. Ice Beam is also a very useful coverage that allows it to effectively hit Grass types such as Ferrosseed or Eldegoss. Finally, Rain Dance is useful to place the rain again in order to have the opportunity to wallbreak again. Ludicolo fits very well with Pokemons who can put the rain on like Liepard thanks to his ability Prankster as well as U-Turn which allows him to pivot. Ludiolo also appreciates the presence of physical wall breakers such as Drednaw who can rain while crippling Ferrosseed. Finally, Ludicolo appreciates the Healing Wish of Pokémon such as Mesprit which offers him a new opportunity to Wallbreak. Ludicolo struggles against Audino who can ruin turns of rain with Wish and Protect while betting on Hydro Pump misses.

Full rain-teams aren't considered very viable due to the relevance of Gigalith and other mons like Jellicent (see: Liepard UR on the VR). Not that ful rain teams can't pull good mus, but it just isn't the goal here. This set is moreso a stand alone late game cleaner (think like Lilligant), please update to reflect that

Le Dieunnotor normally this would be far too long but since QC has sat for a while, I'm going to give you 48 hours to update the analysis and get it ready for QC or just drop it. The writing just needs to be changed to reflect the fact that Ludicolo is normally a standalone breaker/cleaner, not something that runs with several other rain users
