[SET COMMENTS]
Ludicolo finds a niche in ZU as a rain sweeper thanks to its ability Swift Swim and potent STAB combination that lets it threaten usual checks to rain teams such as Pyukumuku. Giga Drain is preferred over Leaf Storm and Energy Ball for its ability to keep Ludicolo healthy, counteracting the residual damage from Life Orb. Ice Beam targets Pokemon resisting Ludicolo's STAB combination such as Altaria and opposing Grass-types like Tangela and Gourgeist-S. Rain Dance allows Ludicolo to set rain for itself and its teammates, giving it extra utility. Surf is a notable mention over Rain Dance or Hydro Pump if there are already multiple rain setters on the team or if you prefer a more accurate STAB option.

Rain setters such as Damp Rock Uxie and Liepard are mandatory partners, enabling Ludicolo to become a powerful sweeper. Other rain attackers such as Poliwrath, Kabutops, and Swords Dance Qwilfish are also good partners; together, they can pressure special walls such as Miltank and Audino and weaken shared checks such as Wishiwashi and Ferroseed. In return, Ludicolo can beat problematic foes such as Pyukumuku for them. Entry hazard setters such as Ferroseed and Garbodor can set Spikes to put foes in range of a KO from Ludicolo, with Ferroseed also aiding against opposing Grass-types and Garbodor handling problematic foes like Kangaskhan. Electric-types such as Rotom and Manectric are good teammates, helping Ludicolo against Pokemon such as Cramorant.

Other Options
=============

Focus Blast can heavily damage Ferroseed, Audino, and Miltank, but its accuracy makes it an unreliable option. Choice Specs is an option if Ludicolo forgoes Rain Dance.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Special Walls**: Ludicolo has trouble breaking through bulky special walls such as Ferroseed, Miltank, Cramorant, and Audino. They can cripple it with Knock Off or status and potentially stall out rain turns, lowering Ludicolo's damage output.

**Revenge Killers**: Priority moves from Kangaskhan, Shiftry, and Lycanroc can easily revenge kill Ludicolo after some residual damage from Life Orb. Faster threats such as Accelgor can also revenge kill Ludicolo, even in rain.

**Snow Warning**: Hail setters such as Vanilluxe and Abomasnow can disrupt rain teams and remove Ludicolo's Speed boost from Swift Swim. Vanilluxe can outspeed and OHKO Ludicolo, while Abomasnow can tank a hit and retaliate with a strong attack.

Ludicolo finds a niche in ZU as a rain sweeper thanks to its potent STAB combination and ability Swift Swim. Hydro Pump + Giga Drain complements each other, nailing prevalent foes such as Cofagrigus, Silvally-Ghost, and Basculin. (Not sure that two Ghost-types are the best examples for highlighting why water- grass- synergizes well) Ice Beam targets Altaria and opposing Grass-types like Tangela Ferroseed and Gourgeist-S. (Ferro isnt a good example since it isnt hit super efffecively by ice beam and it doesnt do much to it) Rain Dance allows Ludicolo to set rain for itself and its teammates, giving it extra utility. Surf is a notable mention over Rain Dance, and it can be used if there are already multiple rain setters on the team.
**I'd highlight somewhere how Ludicolo's typing lets it break through bulky waters like Pyukumuku that beat other rain sweepers.

Other rain attackers such as Poliwrath, Kabutops, and Swords Dance Qwilfish are also good partners; together, they can pressure special walls such as Miltank and Audino and weaken shared checks such as Wishiwashi and Ferroseed. (Definitely mention poliwrath and reword the section accordingly to make it clear that Poliwrath beats the stuff you mention above while Poliwrath enjoys Ludicolo pressuring something like Pyuku for it in return.) Entry hazard setters such as Ferroseed and Garbodor can set Spikes to put foes in range of a KO from Ludicolo, with Ferroseed also aiding against opposing Grass-types and Garbodor handling problematic foes like Kangaskhan.

Something like Rotom and Manectric could be mentioned as it helps you deal with stuff like Cramorant.

**Special Walls**: Ludicolo has trouble breaking through bulky special walls such as Ferroseed, Miltank, and Audino. They can cripple it with Knock Off or status and can potentially stall out rain turns, lowering Ludicolo's damage output. maybe add Cramorant since its notably a water-type that doesnt care about giga.

**Faster Attackers and Priority**: **Revenge Killers**: Faster attackers such as Choice Scarf Basculin and Accelgor can outspeed and threaten Ludicolo, even in rain. Priority from Kangaskhan, Shiftry, and Lycanroc can easily revenge kill Ludicolo after some residual damage from Life Orb. (Ludicolo doesnt care about anything Scarf Basc throws at it by virtue of its typing so remove that as an example. I'd mention the priority users first tbh since they are definitely the main way of revenge killing ludicolo. You can include a line about accelgor if you want after that)

**(I'd add Snow Warning from the likes of Vanilluxe, Abomasnow stopping Rain cold. Vanilluxe outspeeds and threatens to OHKO while Abomasnow can afford to switch in directly and tank a hit.)

Hydro Pump + Giga Drain complements each other, nailing prevalent foes such as Cofagrigus, Centiskorch, and Basculin. fluff, these are STAB moves. Just write a line on why Giga Drain is prefered to Leaf Storm and Energy Ball. Rain Dance allows Ludicolo to set rain for itself and its teammates, giving it extra utility.
