Not A Bug Lurantis can run No Item in battle factory

What is the bug?
In the gen 8 Battle Factory format, Lurantis' moveset is as follows:

Lurantis @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Leftovers /
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Superpower
- Synthesis
- Defog

Pretty sure the "no item" option there shouldn't be a thing.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?

It is intentional, to reduce damage taken from Knock Off and negate Poltergeist. I don't know if it's a good idea, but it's not a bug.

As chains said, this isn't a bug. It's to improve the matchup vs several of the tier's Ghost types.
