Rock
========
*With a high speed tier for rock types and a base 115 attack backed up by swords dance, Lycanroc is a fast but frail attacker in the UU tier. It has access to accelrock, the only priority rock type move giving it an advantage over fast fire/flying types like Salazzle and Talonflame. Otherwise, with such a shallow move pool Lycanroc doesn't have much going for it.

*It is out sped by Mega Aerodactyl which move pool is frankly a lot larger.

[set]

Name: Physical sweeper
1. Swords Dance
2. Crunch
3. Accelrock
4. Fire Fang/Thunder Fang/ Stone Edge
Item: Focus Sash/ Life Orb
Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Jolly (+Speed, -Spa. Atk)
EVs: 252 Atk 252 Speed 4 HP

[Set Comments]

*Swords Dance Raises Lycanroc's Attack by two stages, making it a viable sweeper.
*Crunch is a strong 80 bp dark move, which allows it to OHKO Mega Alakazam with a 100% accuracy move.
*Accelrock is Lycanroc's signature move and is the only priority rock type move in the game. Paired with swords dance It can to significant damage as a STAB priority move.
*Both Fire Fang and Thunder Fang are coverage moves but with 65 bp and 95% accuracy a piece, they arn't the best coverage moves we could hope for. With such a shallow move pool there isn't much to choose from.
*Stone Edge is also an option as it is STAB and has 100 bp to begin with.
*could also run this set with choice scarf with out swords dance.
*Focus Sash prevents Lycanroc from being OHKOed which I think is the better option but life orb gives you extra damage.

[Set 2]
Suicide lead
1. Stealth Rock
2. Taunt
3. Accelrock
4. Toxic/ Stone Edge
Focus sash
EVs: 252 Atk 252 Speed 4 Hp

[Comments]

*Stealth Rock let's you put up hazards early this in the game. Unlike spikes, stealth rocks can hurt flying targets.
*Taunt allows you to trap an opponent into a move for a few turns to safely switch into your sweepers.
*Accelrock gives Lycanroc a priority move to do damage with as STAB.
*Toxic is good if you want to get your opponents poisoned but it maybe a better alternative to go for a stronger STAB move like Stone Edge.
*Focus dash allows you to live an OHKOing moves and set up rocks and taunt.

Hey, this is WIP (though it really should be much further along by now) so consider this just a reminder, but remember to follow http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...ions-corrections-read-before-posting.3588426/
Additionally, this is monotype, not UU.

Why not, it is on showdown.
The reason it's used as a suicide lead in say OU is because it has access to Stealth Rock, which, used to only be allowed on Pokemon that naturally learned it. Now with Pokebank's release, that may not be the case anymore. However, in Monotype the story is different. Lycanroc is used purely for it offensive capabilities with Sand Rush and that is it. It makes no sense to use Lycanroc as a suicide lead rather than say Archeops, Aerodactyl, Shuckle, etc, therefore, it isn't an actual Monotype set.

The format of this is wrong, here is the format for an analysis of a pokemon that only has 1 type and for 1 moveset (suicide lead isnt viable)
