Yes, the title IS sarcastic
So, I built this team around setting up a Deoxys-A sweep (hence a non-leading Ninjask). Sadly, my strategy has left me with 2 Deoxys formes on here, but it's useful still.
Deoxys Speed Forme @ Lum Berry
Jolly
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Stealth Rock
Spikes
Taunt
Extremespeed
Obviously, I set up Stealth Rock, and hopefully a layer of Spikes. If I get a Darkrai lead, obviously I go for Taunt.
Downfall to this is, if Darkrai goes for Dark Pulse, instead of Dark Void, I'm dead. However, most of the time this has worked for me.
Forretress @ Leftovers
Relaxed
252 Hp / 112 Atk / 144 Def
Spikes
Rapid Spin
Toxic Spikes
Explosion
This here, as often, to finish up Deoxys-S' job of spiking, then possibly lay down toxic spikes aswell, and spin away enemy spikes. Then I explode if the job looks done.Simple.Blunt.To the point.Bit like me.
Lugia @ Leftovers
Timid
252 HP / 64 Def / 192 Spe
Reflect
Light Screen
Whirlwind
Roost
This goes well with Forretress, spreading Forretress' entry hazards around into the opponent's hp, whilst they have different weaknesses, and Forretress resists the Ice-type. Lugia can also counter Garchomp, which could cause my Deoxys-A problems later on.
Ninjask @ Leftovers
Adamant
248 Hp / 8 Atk / 184 Def / 68 Spe
Protect
Substitute
Baton Pass
X-Scissor
So, If I can, I switch into something (most likely when something else finally falls, due to Ninjask's rubbish defenses), and use Protect (if I've come in after something's died), then Sub, then Protect, then Baton Pass, or otherwise, Sub, then Protect, then pass.
If possible, I'll use my Darkrai to sleep something, then switch to Ninjask as they switch out.
Deoxys Attack Forme @ Life Orb
Hasty
4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Ice Beam
Thunder
Superpower
Hidden Power Fire
Deoxys Attack Forme is to be used as my late-game sweeper after I've stalled out other stuff. HP Fire is there so I have something to hit Scizor and Metagross with while they try to break my (hypothetical, provided Ninjask works) Substitute with Bullet Punch or Pursuit. Unless someone brings out a Lanturn, Ice Beam and Thunder aren't gonna not hurt anything.
Obviously, this can sweep without Ninjask's boosts, just not as efficiently.
Darkrai @ Lum Berry
Timid
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Dark Void
Dark Pulse
Nasty Plot
Focus Blast
This is here for two purposes:
1.To Dark Void someone, meaning Ninjask gets a non-dangerous switch-in (other than Stealth Rock almost OHKOing it).
2.To set up and sweep, if it's not advisable to switch in Ninjask or Deoxys.
So.....Any advice on what else I should do?
