[SET COMMENTS]

Magneton distinguishes itself as a good offensive pivot through its Steel typing, which lets it check Pokemon such as Bruxish, Jolteon, and Scyther, and the fact that it is difficult to switch into due to the combination of its high Special Attack stat and Analytic. Volt Switch allows Magneton to bring in frail teammates such as Zoroark, Medicham, and Bruxish safely. Flash Cannon is able to threaten Sandaconda, which blocks Magneton's Volt Switch, and Tera Fairy Drifblim, Umbreon, and Vaporeon. Magnet Rise is notable to wall Sandaconda, preventing it from forcing Magneton out. Tera Blast lets Tera Fairy Magneton threaten Dark- and Dragon-types that check it such as Umbreon and Appletun, or it hits Ground-types that cause Magneton trouble like Whiscash and Sandaconda if it is Tera Grass. Tera Fairy flips the script on Fighting-types, like Passimian and Paldean Tauros, while Tera Grass comes with the added benefit of giving Magneton resistances to Ground- and Water-type moves, which can be useful against Sandaconda and Bruxish.

Magneton fits well in VoltTurn cores with Pokemon such as Passimian, Scyther, and Bombirdier. Magneton can struggle against special walls such as Eelektross, Chansey, and Appletun, so Magneton appreciates teammates that can break these Pokemon, such as Passimian, Bruxish, and Mabosstiff. Magneton is liable to be chipped down over time by entry hazards due to its lack of recovery, so it appreciates Defoggers such as Drifblim, Lurantis, and Scyther. Additionally, Magneton does not like its Eviolite being removed by Knock Off, which makes Pokemon such as Umbreon and Qwilfish that can absorb Knock Off great partners. Magneton can also struggle versus Ground-types not threatened by Flash Cannon, like Camerupt and Whiscash, so Water- and Grass-types such as Vaporeon and Appletun make for helpful teammates.

[SET COMMENTS]

Magneton distinguishes itself as a good offensive pivot through its Steel-typing, giving it an immunity to Toxic Spikes and useful resistances allowing it to which lets it check Pokemon such as Bruxish, Jolteon, Farigiraf, and Scyther, and Rotom-Frost while being difficult to switch into due to the combination of its high Special Attack stat and Analytic. (did some decluttering) Volt Switch allows Magneton to bring in frail teammates such as Zoroark, Medicham, and Bruxish safely. Because of this, Magneton fits well on VoltTurn cores with Pokemon such as Passimian. (great info, but bring it down to the teammate section) Discharge gives Magneton the ability to threaten paralysis while still dealing decent damage. Flash Cannon is able to hit Pokemon such as Sandaconda on the switch incredibly hard, preventing it from blocking it's pivots Volt Switch, and Pokemon like Drifblim, Vaporeon, and Umbreon that all like to Tera Fairy. (add mag rise mention here) Tera Blast gives lets Magneton a neutral move to hit Electric-types such as Eelektross with and when combined with it's Tera types, it can choose to (flash / t bolt chunks every Electric except eel and Tera Blast does like 20 to it) threaten Whiscash and other Ground-types like Sandaconda and Whiscash for more immediate damage or threaten Dark- and Dragon-types such as Umbreon and Appletun depending on if it's Tera Grass or Tera Fairy. Thunder Wave gives Magneton a more consistent way of spreading paralysis as opposed to relying on Discharge. (add a mention about the defensive utility that tera fairy / grass can also provide)

(add the VoltTurn mention down here)
Although it can Volt Switch on them,
Magneton can struggle against Electric-types (it beats all electric types basically but Eel) special walls such as Eelektross, Chansey, and Appletun, who are able to take it hits well, so Magneton appreciates team members who can break these Pokemon such as Bruxish, Passimian, and Mabosstiff. and Magnezone is liable to be chipped down over (AS)time by entry hazards due to its reliance of Eviolite for its bulk lack of recovery, so it appreciates Defoggers such as Drifblim, Scyther, and Lurantis. Additionally, Magneton does not like it's Eviolite being removed by Knock Off or Trick which makes Pokemon like Umbreon and Qwilfish that can absorb Knock Off great partners. (its not as true that Mag hates trick since it can run offensive quite well) Magneton can also struggle versus Ground-types not threatened by Flash Cannon, like Camerupt and Whiscash, so Grass- and Water-types like Appletun and Vaporeon make for helpful teammates. which block Magneton's pivot attempts, such as Camerupt and Whiscash. To compensate for these flaws, Magneton appreciates team members who can break these Pokemon such as Bruxish, Passimian, and Mabosstiff, while also appreciating Defoggers such as Drifblim and Lurantis, with the former also being an excellent answer to Whiscash.

(for the teammate sections, you should mention relevant examples of the mons in question in the same point as where its relevant. It might look like a lot of moving pieces down in the teammate section, but that's essentially all I did. Just something to keep in mind in the future to help it flow better and be more readable)

Magneton distinguishes itself as a good offensive pivot through its Steel-typing, which lets it to check Pokemon such as Bruxish, Jolteon, and Scyther while being difficult to switch into due to the combination of its high Special Attack stat and Analytic. Volt Switch allows Magneton to bring in frail teammates such as Zoroark, Medicham, and Bruxish safely. Thunderbolt threatens Water- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Vaporeon and Drifblim, (no need to mention stabs unless they have a point or are special like flash cannon in this case) Flash Cannon is able to threaten Sandaconda, on the switch preventing it from blocking it's Volt Switch, and Drifblim, Umbreon, and Vaporeon who all like to Tera Fairy. Magnet Rise is notable to wall Sandaconda, preventing it from forcing you out. Tera Blast let's Magneton threaten Ground-types that will cause it trouble like Whiscash and Sandaconda if Tera Grass, or threaten Dark-, Fighting-, and Dragon-types that can check Magneton such as Umbreon, Passimian, and Appletun if it's depending whether its Tera Grass or Tera Fairy. Tera Grass comes with the added benefit of gives giving Magneton resistances to Ground- and Water-type moves, which can be useful against Sandaconda and Bruxish, while Tera Fairy gives Magneton a resistance to Fighting-type moves and a Ground neutrality, improving its matchup flips the script into Fighting-types like Passimian and Tauros-Paldea. (tried to defluff a bit and make this tera part more readable. Feel free to mess with it after edits until you believe it flows well if you don't like how I did it. Something about it was getting the message acros like I'd like. Maybe it should be separated into two different sentences?)

Magneton fits well on VoltTurn cores with Pokemon such as Passimian, Scyther, and Bombirdier. (add a little more on why it fits well on these types of teams) Although it can Volt Switch on them , (ik i added this but lol it doesn't flow well in the sentence) Magneton can struggle against special walls such as Eelektross, Chansey and Appletun so Magneton appreciates teammates who can break these Pokemon such as Passimian, Bruxish, and Mabosstiff. Magneton is liable to be chipped down over time by entry hazards due to its lack of recovery, so it appreciates Defoggers such as Drifblim, Lurantis, and Scyther. Additionally, Magneton does not like it's Eviolite being removed by Knock Off which can make partners such as Umbreon and Qwuilfish that can absorb Knock Off great partners. Magenton Magneton can also struggle versus Ground-types not threatened by Flash Cannon like Camerupt and Whiscash, so Water- and Grass-types such as Appletun and Vaporeon make for helpful teammates.

GP 1/1! Please credit wotl as well!

  • I would use a color other than green for comments, since that can be confusing for colorblind writers and is often interpreted as an addition color. I personally use purple, I know Adeleine uses orange, etc.
  • "Steel-typing" is incorrect. "When saying that a Pokemon has "some typing", it is never hyphenated (Gengar's Ghost typing helps it be viable in OU.)."
  • "Magnet Rise is notable to wall Sandaconda, preventing it from forcing it out." In this sentence, you have two consecutive uses of it, which can be confusing to the reader. Made the second one Magneton.
    • The Tera sentence also had several different uses of it, both referring to Magneton and Tera Blast, so cleaned that up as well
  • "Magneton can also struggle versus Ground-types not threatened by Flash Cannon, (AC) like Camerupt and Whiscash," this add comma was unnecessary; it is correct either way, so we usually leave it how the author wrote it. Not a mistake, just unnecessary.
  • This was a great check!

Small thing I wanted to point out before this gets uploaded!

Magneton can also struggle versus Ground-types not threatened by Flash Cannon, like Camerupt and Whiscash, so Water- and Grass-types such as Appletun and Vaporeon make for helpful teammates.
Any examples of Pokemon listed should be in the order of the previously listed types, so it should be "Water- and Grass-types such as Vaporeon and Appletun"...
