Pending Make FFA Ranked

I think it's a pretty universal experience in FFA that people don't really follow sporting behavior. People will exclusively target one other player, player will leave immediately if they're the first to lose a Pokémon, I know there are people that purposely join games just to leave to ruin it for other players, etc. If FFA were turned into a ranked format, people who actually try to play in the format would be able to rise in rank and avoid the people that don't actually put in effort.

This would also cause all sorts of issues with people complaining about these issues happening on a ranked ladder. We don't have a good answer for these yet, hence why its unranked.
