The new server-side team storage feature is great for players that want to be able to sync teams across devices, but it doesn't save the Pokemon's nicknames, even if they are manually re-added. This change is frustrating because nicknames are a way for players to personalize their team, and are even technically optimal in Generation 3 because of Beat Up. It makes little sense that a part of a team would just be ignored and overwritten when saved to the server even though the rest of the team is saved.
