There could be a button in the options menu that could lead to the password reset form if you are logged out. This may make it easier to find.

Unfortunately, it's an annoying amount of work to manually do all the checks to see who you say you are, and only upper staff members (which is a very small number of people) have the access to the information required to do the checks, so we don't really have the resources to make it easier to find.

My plan is to add e-mail address registration so you can do e-mail address password resets in the future. Until then, I'm not comfortable making any changes along these lines; sorry.

No, I get that, the suggestion was more for linking https://www.smogon.com/forums/password-reset-form/ somewhere in the options menu, so it'd be easier to get to.

That's what I'm saying, though. Making it easier to get to will make us get more password requests, which our staff don't have enough free time to handle.
