Mandibuzz [WIP]

OVERVIEW]

- Mandibuzz is a solid mixed defensive pivot, capable of taking on the majority of wallbreakers in the metagame, such as Lunala, Kartana and non-mixed Primal Groudon.
- It is also capable of utilizing its slow speed to pivot out of the majority of Pokemon in the metagame, particularly Blastoisinite Darkrai.
- Mandibuzz is also one of the strongest Magic Bounce users in the metagame, and is a tough Pokemon to take down with a single hit. It is also capable of blocking Stealth Rock from the likes of non-Altarianite Landorus-Therian and forces Metagross to explode, making it a great hazard control option.
- Unfortunately for Mandibuzz, it has a crippling weakness to Fighting-types and Fairy-types such as Magearna and Terrakion, which means that Mandibuzz may be forced to cut corners with U-turn if it doesn't want to bait these attackers in. It is also a generally bad user of Toxic, as doing so would mean dropping either Defog or U-turn, and would also leave it vulnerable to Magearna, which can severely hamper Mandibuzz's effectiveness.
- Mandibuzz also suffers from a crippling Stealth Rock weakness, meaning that Stealth Rock users that would be able to muscle past Mandibuzz, such as Altarianite Landorus-Therian and Terrakion force Mandibuzz to Roost much more often and potentially cut corners, which allows for wallbreakers like Lunala to muscle past it.

Moves
========

- Foul Play is Mandibuzz's main attacking move, damaging physical setup that Mandibuzz will encounter and heavily damages the likes of Lunala and Azelf despite their tendency to not invest in Attack.
- U-turn is capable of conserving momentum when the opponent has a target that can abuse Mandibuzz such as Magearna, Altarianite Zygarde, Landorus-Therian and Terrakion. It is also capable of gaining momentum for the Mandibuzz user if Mandibuzz has enough health.
- Defog allows Mandibuzz to remove hazards, particularly working well against the likes of Primal Groudon and other offensive Stealth Rock setters which may threaten out Mandibuzz with prior damage.
- Roost gives Mandibuzz extended longetivity through reliable recovery, making it able to pivot into the likes of Primal Groudon, Lunala and Darkrai that do not carry Thunder multiple times.

Set Details
========

- 252 HP EVs with 92 Defense EVs and an Impish Nature allows for Mandibuzz to stomach a +2 Stone Edge from Primal Groudon. The rest is placed into special bulk to help take on defensive Primal Groudon, Lunala and Darkrai much better.
- If Kartana is covered adequately, then Mandibuzz may invest more into special bulk, allowing it to avoid a 2HKO from potential coverage from Lunala and almost always avoid the OHKO from +2 Diancite Darkrai's Thunder.
- Sablenite gives Mandibuzz a hearty +50 boost in both defenses, however, heavily reduces Mandibuzz's speed stat, making it unable to answer some slower physical attackers reliably.
- Overcoat is Mandibuzz's best ability, capable of taking on certain status moves such as Spore pre-mega.

Usage Tips
========

- Mandibuzz should be played as a proactive pivot with the capability of recovering its HP in a pinch, due to the common usage of types that use it as setup fodder,
- Aim to get Mandibuzz in early-game. Magic Bounce can prove excellent for teams that don't want to lose momentum from defogging, and can help the team stay healthy by deflecting potential status ailments like Toxic and Glare.
