[Overview]
- A defensive and bulky pokemon
- Is immune to weather. Can easily find a place on teams
- Has a wide variety of moves and can play a couple of roles
- Has Immunities and Resistances to key types in RU
- Is weak to stealth rocks
- Outclassed in some fields by Sableye and Honchkrow.

[Set]

Name: Specially Defensive
Move1:Roost
Move2:Toxic
Move3:Whirlwind
Move4:Taunt / U-turn
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
Nature: Careful
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD

[Set Comments]

- A very strong Special Wall. Can also take physical moves to a degree.
- Roost is for landing obviously during the match and healing
- Taunt is to stop anything trying set up on Mandibuzz
- Whirlwind blows things away and racks up Hazard damage.
- Knock off messes up Eviolite users. Toxic increases damage output my mandibuzz.

[Additional Comments]

- Entry Hazard is a must to use mandibuzz to her full potential.
- Whirlwind really takes advatage of entry hazard on the field
- Protect or fly can be used for free leftovers recovery and further recovering.

[Set]
Name: SubWall
Move1:Substitute
Move2:Roost
Move3:Toxic
Move 4:Brave Bird/Taunt/
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
Nature:Impish
EVs: 244 Hp/104 Def/144 SDef/ 16 Spe

[Set Comments]

- A very annoying set
- With 16 speed you can outrun a max speed Adamant Aggron!
- Can have ease switching in on one of its immunities or Resistances
- Substitute is very annoying to pokemon
- Toxic allows it wear down all most everything in the Tier
- Roost is for healing and landing
- BraveBird is a strong STAB move but wears down HP
- You could use Whirlwind to get ride of pokemon who try to set up on it. Also great to rack more Entry Hazard damage.
- Knock Off is a option to screws Evolite users

[Additional Comments]

- A rapid spinner and a Entry Hazard setter is pretty much needed for this to be most effective.
- If a Toxic Spiker is on your team,Toxic can be considered to be replaced from one of the options in the 4th move slot.
- You may want to even boost speed even more, 92 Spe EVs is enough to outrun Jolly Aggron.
- Whirlwind can very much be useful in giving the opponent’s team poisoned early in the game.
- Aerial Ace is a replacement for Brave Bird if you are scared of the HP lost.

[Other Options]
- You may consider running a Nasty Plot set where for some reason you think Mandibuzz should go on Offensive. Several boosted are however needed to start causing damage. However honchkrow and Murkrow outclass in all most every respect.
- Torment may be used but taunt is better. Useful against moves that break Substitutes or Choice users
- Fake Tears lowers the Special Defense. Can cause switches or set up a sweep.
- Fly can be used as a Stall move. Can deal damage however most just use Protect.
- Flatter or Swagger confuses the foe. But Mandibuzz really does not like things that boost to take her on.

[Counters]
There are numerous ways to counter Mandibuzz. Mandibuzz hates status conditions. A Toxic will certainly limit her time on the field.

Klinkklang is a great counter. It can out set up Shift gear before getting taunted, is immune to poisoning, and Gear Grind can break through its Mandibuzz's Substitute!

Electric, steel, and Rocks types are all great counters. Steel types can wall Mandibuzz easily resisting every move it has.

Taunt shuts down basically every Mandibuzz around. Sableye is a great taunter on Mandibuzz.

Aggron is also another counter. It blow through Mandibuzz with a Super Effective STAB Head Smash. However 16 Spe Evs on Mandibuzz is enough for Mandibuzz to out pace Adamant

Rock Blast Armaldo is a solid counter. It hits Mandibuzz super effectively and can break her substitute. Anything hitting super effectively or faster than can really destroy her substitute set.
Whirlwind is a problem however in which she likes to blow away her counter.

Stealth Rocks is another big problem that takes a quarter of her health just by entering.

Anything that is already boosted and Mandibuzz switching in. That is big trouble.

[Dream World]
Mandibuzz gets the Dream World ability Weak Armor. It raises speed but lowers Defense by getting hit by a move. It is a interesting ability but Mandibuzz can not make very good use of it being a Defensive poke. Should be used if you are running a Nasty Plot set.

The Mandibuzz set is trying to do many things at the same time(trying check both physical and special attackers, using knock off etc). Its better off walling special moves, i'm not really a fan of splitting its defenses.

Try using:

Name: Specially Defensive (the UU set basically)
Move1:Roost
Move2:Toxic
Move3:Whirlwind
Move4:Taunt / U-turn
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
Nature: Careful
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD

Its a solid check to a few of the special attackers in the tier (specifically the psychic ones like alakazam)

The SubWall set is alright but you don't need that many slashes in the 4th moveslot. Remove WW and Knock Off and mention them in AC. Edit: Scoopapa's right, it needs a relevant EV spread. (like what are you trying to outspeed, more emphasis on SpD etc)

You should improve your formatting. I hate to say it but this a messy analysis. For example you seperated the evs with commas. (Try looking at other analysis' to see how its done.

PK is absolutely right for the main set - go special defense, maybe mention a physical spread in OO.

For the Substitute set, I don't see it doing much that the wall isn't already. I don't really agree with arbitrarily assigning a different defensive EV spread to a set with substitute, nor do I think substitute alone deserves it's own set when it's the same EV's, as you could just mention Substitute in OO. However, I think there's more that could be done with this. For instance, speed is generally very important for Sub-Roost pokemon, and Mandibuzz has a decent speed stat. Why not find a speed cutoff that allows you to sub against anything you need to? Also, if you have leftover EV's after investing in HP, even a modest investment in Attack can go a long way when the stat is naturally so low, although that might be a bit controversial (taking BB from abysmal to respectable could be worth it IMO - it works on Uxie at any rate).

At any rate, it needs something to justify another set. Of course, you still have to test it and make sure it works beforehand (but maybe others can help with that).

Quick fix here, your EVs on the SubWall set aren't optimal. Your spread gives you 423 Hp,300 Def and 260 Def, whereas a spread of 248 Hp/108 Def/152 SDef w/Impish gives you 423 Hp, 300 Def and 264 SDef (4 extra points). Somewhat minor, but just thought I'd mention it.

Also, you may want to mention Klinklang and Aggron as counters, as they are unable to be poisoned, both resist either of it's stabs and can set up a Gear Change or RP before being taunted (though 16 Speed EVs can be run to outspeed and Taunt a max speed Adamant Aggron)

There's still a few mistakes here and there. For example, Mandibuzz isn't outclassed by Murk/Honchkrow..., your grammar is pretty bad (you called Sableye, Sayabeye in the counters section etc) I'd work on finding and removing as many as you can before the GP team edits your analysis.

Also in the counters section i'd mention more relevant counters to Mandibuzz. (Aggron over Armaldo, Electric types, Steel types etc)

Read over your analysis for any mistakes (both grammatical and errors in logic) once thats done i'll approve this analysis in no time flat.

Tried out the SubRoost set, and it really isn't good. It sorely misses Taunt, which does basically the same thing as Substitute (blocks Toxic) and also lets it totally screw over Clefable. Basically the main set should look like:

[SET]
name: Specially Defensive
move 1: Taunt
move 2: Roost
move 3: Toxic
move 4: Brave Bird / Whirlwind
item: Leftovers
ability: Overcoat
nature: Careful
evs: 248 HP / 244 SpD / 16 Spe

U-turn and Substitute in AC

Also notice my capitalization and stuff, that's how it should look in the OP. Every time you mention a Pokemon name, item, or ability, it needs to be capitalized. And the last section is [Checks and Counters].

Do this stuff and I'll stamp it.

EDIT: and please don't mention Protect or Fly in AC

I'm bumping this because this analysis is kinda unacceptable. There are several mentions of Sableye and you say things such as Mandibuzz is outclassed by Honchkrow (even though their roles are completely different). So please edit this so that it can be up to standards
