Hi, I'm a 1300 elo player on pokemon showdown and I'm looking to further improve my team.
This is the team...
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Aerial Ace
Scizor is an extremely powerful revenge killer with access to bullet punch that is boosted by stab, technician and choice band. His high attack and priority means he can one hit almost any squishy pokemon. However be aware that he is easily walled by tanky defence pokemon like alomomola and gliscor so try to predict the switch and use a U-turn.
Manectric @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
Manectrics sheer speed means it can outspeed almost everything. However it cannot take attacks bar electric moves. He is especially good late game using thunderbolt and stealth rocks to sweep teams. Volt switch stab and his speed means that he can do damage and get out quickly. The synergy with Scizor makes him my core that I try to build my team around.
Gardevoir-Mega @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 80 SpD / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Calm Mind
- Wish
- Protect
Gardevoir is my spec-def tank as well as a wish passer. His high spec-att makes him a strong hyper-voice pixelated user. The typing comes in handy against both fighting and dark. He be used to pass wishes to swampert who doesn't have and recovery.
Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Zen Headbutt
- Taunt
- Explosion
Azelf is really underused and is in the uu tier. I chose azelf as my lead, since it can counter most hazard slow leads. His speed means that he can taunt anything trying to stealth rock. He then has a free stealth rock if he goes down to sash and comes back with a free explosion making an early 1 for 1 and hazards.
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Roar
- Earthquake
This is my defensive tank. 4x resistance to fire makes it a good counter to talon flame as well as paraflinch jirachi with his typing and earthquake. Coming in on a physical move that you can wall, predicting the switch and then using roar to get more stealth rock damage also putting the opponent in an awkward position.
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
Finally, the last pokemon being my bisharp. I originally added him to counter gengar but this pokemon is situational. I change the final pokemon a lot depending on what I need on my team. You could replace him for an excadrill with rapid spin.
