Mankey is one of the most powerful Choice Scarf users in Little Cup thanks to its high Speed, which allows it to outpace or tie with the entire unboosted metagame. This allows Mankey to beat other common Choice Scarf users such as Magnemite, Mudbray, and Gothita. U-turn allows it to greatly capitalize on the switches it forces. Earthquake is a powerful coverage move that hits Mareanie, Glimmet, and Voltorb. Assurance is used to deal as much damage as possible to Ghost-types, OHKOing Eviolite variants on the switch if Stealth Rock is up, while Ice Punch OHKOes Toedscool and threatens Flying-types like Wattrel. Stone Edge is an uncommon option to hit Larvesta and Flying-types. Vital Spirit can be helpful on teams lacking a Grass-type, as it provides a switch-in to Toedscool's Spore, while Defiant is very useful in matchups against Pokemon such as Sticky Web Surskit and Parting Shot Shroodle, as the Attack boosts make Mankey nigh unwallable. Tera Fighting allows Mankey to hit as hard as possible with Close Combat in situations where an unboosted hit is insufficient. Some of Mankey's best teammates include Toedscool to switch in on Ghost-types and remove entry hazards, which can hamper Mankey's pivoting abilities, and either Gothita or Diglett, which can remove the bulky Poison-types like Mareanie and Foongus that give Mankey trouble. Mankey also performs well as part of a VoltTurn core with Pokemon like Volt Switch Voltorb and U-turn Zorua.

Mankey is one of the most powerful Choice Scarf users in Little Cup. A Speed stat of 17 allows it to to outpace or tie with the entire unboosted metagame, with the exception of uncommon Choice Scarf Gastly. This allows Mankey to serve as great Speed control, beating other common Choice Scarfers such as Magnemite, Mudbray, and Gothita. (This section should be condensed into a single sentence.) Mankey's high Attack stat and powerful STAB move Close Combat allows it to hit hard with its Speed, and U-turn allows it to greatly capitalize on the forced switches it creates. Earthquake is a powerful coverage move that lets Mankey hit Mareanie, which otherwise walls it, while also being useful against Pokemon such as Glimmet and Voltorb. Ice Punch lets Mankey hit Flying-types like Wattrel, (Also OHKOs Toed) while alternatively Night Slash can be used to deal as much damage as possible to Gastly, a common switch-in. Defiant is very useful into certain matchups, such as against Sticky Web or Parting Shot Shroodle, as the Attack boosts make Mankey nigh-unwallable. Alternatively, Vital Spirit can be helpful on teams lacking a Grass-type, as it provides a switch-in to Toedscool and Foongus' Spore. (Combine the previous 2 sentences on Abilities and mention Vital Spirit first as explained above) Tera Fighting is used to allow Mankey to hit as hard as possible with Close Combat, getting necessary damage rolls in clutch situations. (Such as?) Some of Mankey's best teammates include Toedscool, to switch in on Gastly and remove entry hazards which can hamper its pivoting abilities, and Gothita, which can remove the bulky Poison-types like Mareanie and Foongus which give Mankey trouble. Another great way to use Mankey is as part of a VoltTurn core, with Pokemon like Volt Switch Voltorb or U-turn Zorua, which when combined with a entry hazard setter like Glimmet, can rack up huge amounts of damage and pressure. (Run-on sentence; remove the part about hazards unless you can provide calls)

Mankey is one of the most powerful Choice Scarf users in Little Cup thanks to its Speed stat of 17, which allows it to to outpace or tie with the entire unboosted metagame, except for the uncommon (i wouldnt call scarf gastly uncommon at all, weve seen many of them in wl win games, you could mention rain mons here tho) Choice Scarf Gastly. This allows Mankey to serve as great Speed control, beating other common Choice Scarfers such as Magnemite, Mudbray, and Gothita. U-turn allows it to greatly capitalize on the forced switches it creates. Earthquake is a powerful coverage move that lets Mankey hit Mareanie while also being useful against Pokemon such as Glimmet and Voltorb. Ice Punch lets Mankey OHKO Toedscool and threaten Flying-types like Wattrel, while alternatively Night Slash (assurance if you change it, making sure you mention how it can ohko it w rocks up) can be used to deal as much damage as possible to Gastly. Vital Spirit can be helpful on teams lacking a Grass-type, as it provides a switch-in to Toedscool and Foongus' Spore (i wouldnt mention foongus here since you dont threaten it back), while alternatively, Defiant is very useful into certain matchups such as against Sticky Web or Parting Shot Shroodle, the Attack boosts making Mankey nigh-unwallable. Tera Fighting is used to allow Mankey to hit as hard as possible with Close Combat, in situations where an unboosted hit is insufficient. Some of Mankey's best teammates include Toedscool, to switch in on Gastly and remove entry hazards which can hamper its pivoting abilities, and Gothita, which can remove the bulky Poison-types like Mareanie and Foongus which give Mankey trouble (you could even mention diglett since it also removes poisons but also priorities like nymble and pawn). Another great way to use Mankey is as part of a VoltTurn core, with Pokemon like Volt Switch Voltorb or U-turn Zorua. maybe i would even mention stone edge since it hits fighting resists such as larvesta and wattrel for a lot of damage, and its not an uncommon move

Tera Fighting allows Mankey to hit as hard as possible with Close Combat in situations where an unboosted hit is insufficient could this be more specific? right now it does not tell me anything new. Some of Mankey's best teammates include Toedscool, to which switches in on Gastly and removes entry hazards so Mankey can pivot more freely, which can hamper Mankey's pivoting abilities, and either Gothita or Diglett, which can remove the bulky Poison-types like Mareanie and Foongus that give Mankey trouble. Mankey also performs well as part of a VoltTurn core with Pokemon like Volt Switch Voltorb or U-turn Zorua.
