Mario Kart Wii - Request a Race thread

Seeing how there is one for Brawl, and with the recent release of the US getting Mario Kart (Europeans finally got something first.. whoooo). I felt this should be posted for those wanting a race. Or even as a thread to scope out teh players add the FC's so you can join them in the worldwide races.

Also if so would their be enough support for a Mario Kart league, based on Regional Times, and a points system?

Yes of course there could be a league. There's no lag (even against Japanese guys) and you won't lose points in friend games. I don't think there's a limit on FCs either.

Tomorrow morning (GMT + 1) I can play as much as well... I can play. So just respond if you would like to.

(That European first "Oh Noez" Bullsh*t is still unfair. 17 days waiting for America, 3.5 months for Brawl in Europe >.>)
 
I wouldn't mind. Can't race now unfortunatly but If anyone wants me to add them so we can do worldwide races whenever then feel free to PM me.

Whenever MKWii starts to recognize FCs, I'd more than happy to race. I stink, but I can still have fun.

Any one know why I can't connect, my connection works fine when I run a test but when I try to connect on Mario Kart it keeps giving me connection error.
 
Adding everyone here so far and changing back to my forum Mii name. Dam it was fun playing as a Wookie over WiFi though :P

EDIT: Or not, same problem as above poster :S

EDIT3: D/C'd again lol...
 
Since the American's have got MKWii I can only assume that the whole of the Nintendo Wifi Service is having problems coping... It happens about the same time every night and it affects Pokemon aswell
 
Well I've managed to connect for long enough to add everyone on the list.
 
Good thing everything is starting to work now. Ghandi showed up on my list.
