i haven't been online. My time is higher than that.

tried a couple times and got 1:06 something, funky/spear. this game is getting stale fast =[ maybe it'll catch on later on...

lol. I think I play this game too much. Hardly touched Brawl since I got it, which is something.

Were you in that Coconut Mall race when I come last then lol? I was trying to get some wi-fi races recorded, and my frame rate just dropped so much I couldn't control my bike =/

Also SC I thought that might be the case because I wasn't sure if you had to go online to update it, and lexx you are kinda right it loses appeal quite quick for the kind of game it is, though I might just be saying that because I get frustrated by items and time trials...
 
What determines what speed class is played online? I only went on once before you ask my rating (6500) but it's mostly 100cc with occasional 150cc... does it increase with your rank?
 
it's random on worldwide/regional searches. in Friends matches it's in sets (sets of 100 cc, sets of mirror)

i havent played wifi too much and im right over 8000. havent really lost any points

Not play Brawl? Did you get brawl with a freeloader? I would play Brawl like an addict @_@

Dang, I went looking for this game today and it was sold out at pretty much anywhere that had a decent price. Looks like I'll have to wait a while longer.

Also I want to pose a question. In TTs, I've noticed that fast times (particularly notable in the yoshi falls WR) have this continual speed...
Whenever I race andebys old YF ghost or omas koopa cape, I use the same strat, and can overtake with careful mauevering, but they get ahead on the straights? I don't get it tbh, though I think it may be something to do with wheelying at the right time for max speed; do you have to wheelie right after a powerslide boost?
An answer would really help me out because this is the reason TT has been frustrating me alot lately (well more than usual)
 
Yeah, you should try to wheelie basically constant unless you're in a powerslide. Send me ghost data so i can look at it.

I think you need to retract the challenge somehow

I think you wheelie faster if you do it straight out of a mini turbo, but it's harder to get your angles right if you do it straight out of a turbo.

Back into the euro top 10. Lap split was about 20.5 / 20 3 / 20.8
 
you have to do wheelies perfectly straight or else you'll slow down a bit, even the tiniest curve will mess you up - that seems to be more noticeable with bikes with low acceleration (ie spear/torpedo)

edit: I meant bikes ok obviously it's not a kart

The Torpedo isn't a kart. And yes, steering the wheelie too much slows you down. That's how I got the sucky times when I started.
