Welcome to the first edition of Masters League. Masters League is a tournament for up and coming players of Generations 6, 7 and 8. The aim of this tournament is to give players who are working their way into the tournament scene experience playing in a team tour environment with experienced managers who can help them reach their potential.

There will be eight teams of ten slots, and the format will be as follows:
  • ORAS OU
  • ORAS OU
  • ORAS OU
  • SM OU
  • SM OU
  • SM OU
  • SS OU
  • SS OU
  • SS OU
  • Masters Bo3
Important notice: to focus on the development of newer players, one cannot sign up to play in Masters League if they meet one or more of the following conditions:
  • You are not eligible to sign up as a player in Masters League if you played a game of ORAS, SM or SS in the following tournaments:
    • Smogon Premier League
    • World Cup of Pokémon (Main Stage)
  • You are not eligible to sign up as a player in Masters League if you played more than three OU games of in any single tier of ORAS, SM or SS in any of the following tournaments:
    • ORASPL
    • SMPL
    • SSPL
    • RoAPL
    • RCoP
    • OUPL
  • Players would for example still be eligible if they played 2 games of SM in SMPL and 1 game of ORAS in RoAPL, but not if they played 3 games of SMPL spread over different tournaments.
Teams will be allocated 130k credits for the auction.
The minimum roster size is 13

Re: Unstoppable1 vs Nakano Nino

After a little bit of preliminary scheduling, unstoppable proposes 7pm +7. Nankano can make this time, but their actions imply that they can't by proposing other times that they can play. Unstoppable's schedule changes thus that he cannot make the time and tries to find other timeslots under the assumption that 7pm +7 was not accepted. Nakano continues to communicate poorly whole under the impression that 7pm +7 is the accepted time and fails to bring up the time mentioned by Unstoppable at the start of the week. Unstoppable's weekend availability becomes limited at short notice, making any scheduling near impossible.

With the issues not coming solely from one side, both teams will be required to substitute their player.

RE Week 2 Activity Calls:

Lacks vs Igniizard
Lacks was present at the scheduled time and Igniizard did not show up, nor did Absols Army provide a substitute within 30 minutes of being given notice. Lacks is granted the activity win.

Violet River vs LpZ
Violet River was present at the scheduled time and LpZ did not show up, nor did the Scorching Slugmas provide a substitute within 30 minutes of being given notice. Violet River is granted the activity win.
 
RE Unstoppable1

Unstoppable1 has left their team cord following a disagreement with team management and does not intend to return. Raging Reshirams have selected Hiro80223001 as their replacement player.

Although we believe the actions of the manager in question was the leading contributor to this issue, we do not feel it would be within the spirit of the tour to penalise the players of the team by leaving them short. We also feel this is a good time to remind managers that per smogon tournament guidelines managers are held to a higher standard of conduct than the players.
 
RE Week 23 Activity Calls:

love wss forever vs Charmriah
After an initial time is set, Charmriah asks to move scheduling to either a range on the same day or Sunday. love wss forever confirms a time within the range. At this time, Charmriah comes online and informs their opponent that they are ready to play, then informed the opposing team they were waiting but love wss forever did not come online, nor did Charmriah receive a substitute. Charmriah ha been granted the activity win.

RE: Week 3 Activity Calls

Gochan vs Akeras
Gochan arrives at the scheduled time and alerts their opponent on Smogon. gochan's managers also ping on discord for a sub within the required timeframe. Akeras did not show up and no substitute was provided. Gochan is awarded the activity win.

LpZ vs StepC
StepC was subbed out of the matchup, and the sub was unable to meet LpZ's availability. As the game went unplaced LpZ is granted the activity win.
 
RE: ySagaz_ vs Kinzo

At the shcheduled time, ySagaz was not present. The manager ping was not sent until 5:53-4, beginning the 20 minute timer for a substitute or the original player to respond. Sagaz responded within 20 minues of the ping (6:10 -4). The Raging Rashirams made an invalid activity claim, as they had not waited for sufficient time after tagging the BC wishkillers managers. When Sagaz requested an opponent, Kinzo had left and the Raging Reshirams manager refused to give a player, incorrectly believing they had a valid activity claim to make.

For the reasons outlined above, ySagaz is granted the activity win over Kinzo.
