Rain Dance ~ Waterfall ~ chill

Why he's Focus Blasting when I have -2 Defense, I have no idea, but hey, RAPEPILLAGEBURN!

"Strongest attack" is kinda vague here (like Hi Jump Kick from Ike's movepool if it had it?), but you can't really edit since jas already posted. To me, the "strongest move" would be the move that does the most damage out of jas's three selected moves, so that's what I'm going to do (and it looks right!). I don't think Counter would fall into this category since it's not really an attack such as Tackle per say. It's like... a counter-attack!

Yeah, that's what I meant.

Looks like it bit me in the ass :/

Round 9: A Hero's... Fall or Victory?

With immerse focus, Ike conjures a blast from his mind that travels straight into Buff and creates an orangey explosion. This causes Buff to be blasted away from Ike and onto the ground, but he's not finished yet! He tramples and stamps a Rain Dance! But as there is already rain pouring, the dance amounted to nothing except a waste of energy.

But, the dance got Buff ready to move out! And he does with elegant swiftness into a fast Waterfall that smashes onto Ike for some major bruises! Ike is used to this situation, though, and Counters back for tons and buckets of pain! This seems to have been the finishing blow as Buff is blasted across the field and onto the remains of the once-was-a-tree stump. He's all circles!

DA's turn! Send in your new mon! I think she's a bit squishy but oh well.

There's nothing wrong with a little squishiness.

Squishy the Mantyke!! Kill the thing in one Surf!

Or two.

Or three, if I overestimate you. :/

Surf ~ Surf ~ Surf

Well, it looks like this is just about over. But we won't go down without a fight. So I am just going to hope Ike can take 1 hit and try to hit back as hard as possible.

Agility - Endure - Reversal

Uh so I have no idea where the Surf is coming from when the arena's a grassy field with a tree in the middle.

Also, I just asked on IRC for opinions. They said "nope". Sorry DA, use another attack next time! ^_^

Round 10: Squishy Ike

Squishy. n_n

So for the three actions, Squishy tries with all her might to conjure three tidal Surfs, but she couldn't because the water resources were just WAY TOO FAR! Ike takes the free time to use an Agility, Endure for no reason, and use a weak Reversal, which pins Squishy onto the ground for some dirty business.

A3: Surf > 10 + 3 + (4-2 x 1.5) x 1.5 = [24 Damage] [6 Energy]

Rain has evaporated into thin air.

jas's turn!

edit: huh, good point. I totally forgot about the rain. Well, okay, let's say the rain was pretty light and wasn't enough to conjure a big Surf. Just like rain in daily lives - it's enough for a puddle, but not enough for a tsunami.

Well, I wasn't expecting that, cause if I was I would have had a completely different strategy. Unfortunately it looks like all that did was delay the inevitable. But we can still try. So lets go with Reversal - Reversal - Quick Attack.

Oh, I edited my last post for the explanation, but basically, rainfall by itself doesn't grant enough water to be used for a Surf. There may be small particles of rain dripping "everywhere", but they're not in a state like a lake or river. If Surf somehow "connects" every single water droplet together and put them into some form of body of water, then I could see it working. I don't think Surf works that way though.

Round 11: Squished Ike

Squished. n_n

Now this time the round's for real! Ike, already on top of Squishy, squeezes the life out of her with a tight Reversal! She's screams in pain and blasts an Ice Beam from her mouth right onto Ike's close-by head, freezing parts of his ears. Still, this doesn't phaze Ike away as he dips downward anymore and tosses Squishy outward with another Reversal! Flying away, Squishy shoots out another frosty Ice Beam that accurately strikes Ike's body into small particles of ice. Despite his jacked situation, Ike tries out one more attempt at victory - a blazing fast Quick Attack! This strikes Squishy as she's about to land and bashes her throughout the field, but she's still packed with health and energy that's ready to freeze Ike to his death. One last Ice Beam is spout out and quickly deep fries Ike into a frozen pillar. The ice breaks down and Ike falls onto his knees, head down. By then, he falls on his side, fainted with freezing pain.

A marvelous frosty and squishy victory!

edit for below: all of those games are following "in-game" logic. It's not ASB logic.

gg jas! I was impressed how resilient your pokemon were even through type disadvantages.

Fast reffing, the Flora standard!

Also, pbr and xd and colosseum's animations show a giant wave coming out of the background, growing larger as it absorbs the wading-level water that appears spontaneously.
