Going to have to find time to look back into things but josh was not one of the nightkills that was especially useful to me

I do think that all of me/Yeti/lightwolf (would have said asek too) should be dead before lylo though, if any of us are scum town will lose in lylo whereas I think the rest of the playerbase won't be able to fool town as effectively
 
I agree, I'm not getting the same vibe from Yeti than I did in popcorn
Tbh I thought I'd reconsider my townreads on Josh/Yeti/Texas today since it seemed to make sense for there to be a mole but I'm not getting anything scumread worthy from them. Texas hard buddying Josh was a concern I've had for the last two days tho

Literally my entire early game strategy was identifying a town core and working with them to determine the direction of the game. Asek was in that pool as well but his read devolved to null over time
 
josh and empoof are excellent nightkills for that very reason. empoof is dead tonight.

itll only get Interesting after that. the mafia want to wipe the most consensus reads asap.

can strongman pierce jk protection? idk how these two roles interact in a noc
 
Question because I really don't know the optimal play here, should jailkeeper claim if they have a series of results that can get 1 mafia guaranteed or not claim unless they can post a conditional solve? Do they claim if they can get the 1 maf in 1 lynch? 2 lynches?
 
jk claiming is gonna be hard as long as there are multiple mafia alive

if jk tried to use his role offensively he could very well have hit a mafia member BUT the other one was killing

ie if its josh and empoof and he jks josh but empoof does the kill, well, theres nothing conclusive there

there are also a lot of people itg who i would have a very difficult time telling if a jk result was condemning or cleaning. like any of the people who weren't wagons yesterday. if you jk them do you think the mafia were intending to kill them or did you get the mafia killer?

any of the wagons yday if there's no kill and jk hits them, jk proooobably hit scum bc it'd be very unlikely for scum to try and clear out a mislynch bait slot.

but any of like moody/asek/texas/hawkie/fort maybe even. hawkie would probably have been a save-jk but can you be sure?

I look at my attempts to poe and what I'm getting is mostly townreads from interactions with flipped scum (Texas/Hawkie and maybe Blazade/Id though they're more of a null read), slots I don't really have a reason to townread but I do from tone and tone of the people they subbed in for (Asek/Yeti/Fort, to be fair Yeti has more content) and then I'm left with Knights who has had a little spat with Jalmont which didnt really feel staged so I'm starting to believe scum went all in on the town cred from Hitmonleet and that I should look at the first above pool more.

I didnt like Fort being afk for the latter half of d4 even tho it seems weird for him to have that tone and defeatist attitude when he should be under pressure from his teammate to stay alive. Knights doesnt even look that bad but he's still low on the alibi list. Id could've been 100% busing Leet after all idk. Lightwolf slot I've been suspicious of, then looking back at the reads on Jalmont/Hitmonleet and accurate townreads this looks way better but I'm getting paranoid for moles so this is dropping towards a null lean scum
 
Just sucks cause everyone's tone is good and I didn't get day 1 to actually learn alignments and this game has a million subs.

This is my worst time period of my play statistically, mid-late game
 
does anyone think if lightwolf subs into a scumslot, his big reads/catchup post contains actual post numbers to cite what he's reacting to?

if he subs in and has another partner they could fairly easily sum up the game for him, letting lw just skim the thread and start posting much quicker. he also doesnt NEED to read the thread to obtain any reads on anyone bc again, mafia already know.

then again idk lw could be Method Acting

i feel his slot was in juuust a bad enough position that if he was scum his partner would've given him a "heres the general townreads and general lynchpool go from there" and he would've started a lot earlier.

unless its like lw/asek and asek's internet was too bad or lw/fort and fort's finals were too bad :thonkang:

When people were saying that their read on Lightwolf was dropping because he wasn't posting I thought that he'd have an easier time posting quickly if he had a teammate to brief him
