Man I'm on a losing streak and it affects my confidence to actually win. Now to see if I can exploit this.....

Taunt > Payback > Payback
(only check this Sub at start of A2, before any Pokemon acts) IF Gem-Haunter is under the effects of Taunt, THEN replace A2 with Iron Defense instead.

So Haunter's sub doesn't activate because of Taunt at that time, and because it becomes illegal it's not subject to anti-infinite-loop rules anymore... ugh, sub rules are still confusing...

Okay time to actually hit stuff! Can't really remember the last time I got this far since the reboot...

IF Gem-Haunter is NOT under the effects of Taunt AND ordered to use Will-o-Wisp AND is slower than Trespasser-Pupitar, THEN replace the first instance with Substitute (20HP) instead, pushing remaining queue back.
IF Gem-Haunter is NOT under the effects of Taunt AND ordered to use Taunt AND Protect is NOT used on the last action, THEN replace that action with Protect instead, pushing remaining queue back.

Sleep seems weird. Like, even if Hypnosis lands, Trespasser-Pupitar has a 66% chance of just waking up right after? Eh I need sleep to process that.
Also Trespasser-Pupitar has 2 more HP because Snarl causes Hex A3 to deal less damage.

Payback + Payback {Trespassing Rampage!!}, on all 3 actions

Huh, the instructions for Sleep in the BBP handbook are written really vaguely for some reason. The ASB handbook's instructions are a lot more clear about it imo.
