Mega Latias takes advantage of its astounding bulk and nice defensive typing, giving it a good matchup against the recently popular Mega Charizard Y and Grass-types like Kartana and Tapu Bulu, to set up Calm Mind and become a threatening sweeper. Psyshock has merit over Psychic in hitting Chansey and Calm Mind Tapu Fini harder. Ice Beam allows Mega Latias to apply offensive pressure on the likes of Landorus-T, Zygarde, and Mega Salamence even without setting up. The given EV spread and a Timid nature give Mega Latias great bulk and ensure that it will outpace Kyurem-B and OHKO most Zygarde variants with unboosted Ice Beam. Ground-types like Zygarde and Landorus-T are the best partners for Mega Latias because they beat Incineroar, Tyranitar, and Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Aegislash, all of which completely wall Mega Latias. Mega Latias also appreciates some form of Speed control like Tailwind or Icy Wind, and support in the form of Fake Out and Intimidate eases setup too.

• Psyshock>Psychic is also for CM Fini, might as well mention it alongside Chansey
• Don't bother with the sentence on Recover, these are pretty short and sweet and everyone knows what it does

A couple things I'd like to see touched on, since you still have room for about 100 more characters before the above edits:

• Great matchups against Mega Charizard Y, which is surging in popularity, as well as Grass-types like Tapu Bulu and Kartana
• Intimidate and Fake Out support from Pokemon like Incineroar makes it easier to boost or get off an attack without being forced to recover quite so often
