Dragon
========

Using Calm Mind, Recover, and Stored Power, Mega Latias can serve as an effective defensive sweeper for Dragon that tears through otherwise troublesome matchups such as Normal. With two extra resistances to Psychic and Fighting, Mega Latias's Dragon / Psychic typing allows it to resist many types. This can allow it set up on Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, Chansey, and Mew. Furthermore, a useful Ground immunity allows Mega Latias to come in on Ground-type moves as well as avoid damage from Spikes and Toxic Spikes and the Speed drop from Sticky Web. However, Mega Latias is useless in the Dark matchup if its only attacking move is Stored Power, and while it can run Thunderbolt to not be walled by Dark-types, it then loses the ability to take on walls that run a status-inducing move. Furthermore, Mega Latias struggles to set up against teams with wallbreakers such as Diggersby, Mamoswine, and Bisharp, as they are able to switch in on a Calm Mind and threaten it out with a heavy attack. Mega Latias also struggles to set up in matchups such as Fairy and Ground, as it is scared out by super effective damage or by utility moves such as Whirlwind and Haze. Mega Altaria gives Mega Latias competition as a Mega Evolution, as it is a Dragon Dance user with more immediate power thanks to Pixilate and a typing that aids in matchups like Dark, which Mega Latias cannot excel in. Mega Latias does, however, always win against Ditto, unlike Mega Altaria, which has to bank on the Ditto not running the appropriate happiness to maximize the power of Return or Frustration. It also helps take on Double Dance Mew due to Calm Mind and its resistance to Psychic, which is something Mega Altaria cannot do.

Moves
========

Calm Mind increases Mega Latias's power and bulk as it sets up to become a powerful sweeper. Recover helps gives Mega Latias a form of reliable recovery that it can use while it sets up with Calm Mind. Stored Power is a Psychic-type STAB attack that combines well with Calm Mind due to how naturally bulky Mega Latias is and how it gains 40 Base Power from each Calm Mind. This allows Mega Latias to beat common walls like Porygon2 and Zapdos. Refresh is used to keep status off of Mega Latias so it can beat walls such as Chansey and Cradily, which all usually carry a status-inducing move, and keep it healthy longer without having to be swapped out, since it can cure itself of status conditions. This allows Mega Latias to set up with Calm Mind and KO the walls in return with Stored Power. Thunderbolt can be run over Refresh to not be completely walled by Dark-type Pokemon. It also helps with Celesteela and Slowbro as well as common Haze users and phazers such as Mantine, Toxapex, and Skarmory. The downside to running Thunderbolt is that Mega Latias cannot get rid of status and will be put on a timer.

Set Details
========

A Timid nature is run with maximum Speed investment to outspeed common Pokemon such as Keldeo, Mega Charizard Y, and Cobalion. 252 HP EVs are run in order to make Mega Latias as bulky as possible to offer it more setup opportunities. Levitate allows Mega Latias to come in on Ground-type attacks for free and avoid entry hazards like Toxic Spikes, Spikes, and Sticky Web. Latiasite allows Latias to Mega Evolve.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Latias is a sweeper with Calm Mind and Stored Power, so it should set up mid- or late-game when its checks and counters, such as Diggersby and Excadrill, are weakened or KOed. Be wary of Pursuit users like Alolan Muk and Scizor, as they threaten to do a lot of damage, leaving Mega Latias in range for another Pokemon to KO it. Set up Mega Latias against walls that do not threaten it such as Gastrodon, Chansey, and Porygon2. Mega Latias can also set up on special attackers that do not carry super effective coverage like Zapdos, Mega Charizard Y, and Landorus. Make sure to keep Mega Latias as healthy as possible with Recover while setting up with Calm Mind. Mega Latias can be brought in on resisted attacks and on Pokemon that are Choice-locked into non-super effective attacks. Avoid Toxic if not running Refresh, as it cripples Mega Latias and can put it on a timer, preventing it from effectively setting up and sweeping. Be careful not to set up on wallbreakers that can take an attack and 2HKO Mega Latias in return, such as Mega Diancie and Diggersby.

Team Options
========

Garchomp can aid with Stealth Rock, which wears down foes and breaks Focus Sashes so Latias can more easily sweep. Focus Sash variants of Garchomp can also take care of Pokemon such as Mega Diancie, which Mega Latias appreciates. It also aids in the Steel matchup, which Mega Latias struggles in, thanks to Fire Blast and Earthquake. Latios is the ideal Choice Scarf user for Dragon, as it helps with fast threats that Mega Latias struggles with such as Hydreigon and Blacephalon. It also provides Defog support to keep Stealth Rock off of the field for Mega Latias. Hydreigon is another option; the main way it supports Mega Latias is by threatening Steel- and Ghost-types that Mega Latias struggles to beat thanks to Fire Blast and Dark Pulse. It is a great special wallbreaker and weakens threats to Mega Latias thanks to the boost from Choice Specs. Kyurem-B is a great mixed wallbreaker with Life Orb that can be paired with Latias to help break Water and Flying teams, and it takes on Toxapex and Alolan Muk, which Mega Latias can struggle against. Kyurem-B can also run a Choice Scarf to help check Mega Altaria in the Dragon mirror. Dragonite is another good physical wallbreaker that can use Extreme Speed to snipe frail Pokemon such as Greninja. Its Fire Punch and Superpower help KO Steel- and Dark-type Pokemon such as Tyranitar, and Ferrothorn. Kommo-o is a great mixed sweeper that can deal with Steel-, Ice-, and Dark-types like Heatran, Mamoswine, and Alolan Muk that Mega Latias has trouble dealing with.

Dragon
--------
Substitute can be run to shut down any weak special attacks after a Calm Mind boost and avoid status moves such as Toxic. However, be aware that Chansey easily breaks the Substitute and can wear down Mega Latias. Ice Beam can be used also over Stored Power to hit Flying-types and opposing Dragon-type Pokemon such as Garchomp and Dragonite if Mutiscale is broken. The move also helps in the Ground matchup with by KOing Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Landorus. However, dropping Stored Power causes issues such as Ditto copying Mega Latias and hitting it with Ice Beam and Chansey walling Mega Latias.

Checks and Counters
===================

Dragon
--------
**Dark-types**: Without Thunderbolt, Mega Latias is completely walled by Dark-types and therefore cannot do anything in the matchup. Even with Thunderbolt, it will have a hard time trying to set up and KO anything, since Alolan Muk can come in and force it to switch out.

**Dragon-types**: Physical Dragon-type moves from Pokemon such as Garchomp and Kyurem-B can KO Mega Latias easily. Latios has a chance to KO Mega Latias from full if Mega Latias hasn't set up a Calm Mind boost.

**Fairy-types**: Mega Latias has a hard time setting up with a Fairy-type around, with the likes of Mega Diancie, Choice Specs Tapu Koko, and Azumarill easily KOing Mega Latias if it doesn't have a Calm Mind set up.

**Taunt Users**: Taunt easily shuts down Mega Latias, and an unboosted Stored Power is nothing to be afraid of for Pokemon such as Heatran and Tapu Koko.

**Phazers and Haze Users**: Phazers such as Skarmory and Hippowdon can take advantage of Mega Latias's poor immediate power to get it off the field before it sets up. Mega Latias also has to watch out for Haze users such as Toxapex and Mantine, as they can get rid of its boosts and make Stored Power useless, but they have to be careful in case Mega Latias is running Thunderbolt.

**Physical Wallbeakers**: Strong physical attackers such as Mamoswine, Diggersby, and Mega Scizor can break Mega Latias and are not threatened by its unboosted attacks.

Nothing personal, I protect my people
Was going to say I'll check this tonight, but just skimming over it quickly I noticed there is a general lack of info across the board and pretty much no notable information that someone couldn't gather from looking at the Pokedex or from having even minimal knowledge of common sets. If you need a better understanding of the quality we're looking for within these analyses, please use Tyke's Cobalion Analysis as reference, or any of the other QC members' analyses.

[OVERVIEW]

Dragon
========

* Latias's Mega Evolution is incredibly bulky thanks to its 80 HP/150 SpD and 120 Def, allowing it to take Physical and Special hits while setting up and shaking them off with Roost.
I would not talk about its stats but rather what its defenses allow it to naturally survive that is helpful for Dragon-type Teams

*It is also one of the few dragons that can use roost viably, allowing it to survive hits and being able to get HP back.
Against if you were talking about Roost, do not say that it just allows you to recover HP, but mention why its important like being able to setup CM more easily and give an example like after a few boosts it can take on Mega Diancie with ease because of Roost

*Mega Latias also has Refresh which will prolong its life with shaking off Status moves.
I would talk about Refresh down in the moves section of set comments and not the overview

*On dragon teams, it greatly helps with the Normal matchup since this can 1v1 Chansey with roosting and using refresh to get off Toxic while setting up and blasting them with Stored Power which Dragon would like since Chansey is a nuisance for Dragon.
I would rephrase this to be a bit more clear. Definitely still talk about how it can beat Chansey with Refresh+CM+Roost

*Mega Latias greatly helps break stall Pokemon Like Suicune, Toxapex with no haze, Mantine, Porygon2 and Chansey.
Combine these with the line about Chansey as you beat the other ones the same way p much

*Thunderbolt can kill a Toxapex or Mantine after it hazes the boost away, making Stored Power useless, but Thunderbolt can easily kill both Toxapex and Mantine in return.
This seems more like something you would talk about in the moves section and not the overview

*Mega Latias Psychic-Typing threatens Fighting Pokemon such as Keldeo, Terrakion and Heracross from not knowing if Latias is Mega or not.
I do not necessarily agree with this, no team is going to carry Mega Latias and another possible mega because regular altaria is garbage and mega chomp is like never used

* It also has competition from Mega Altaria for the mega slot for being able to help in the Dragon mirror and the Dark Matchup where both matchups Mega Latias does not do anything in.
Talk also about how Mega Altaria can take on the same threats Mega Latias can such as Chansey and Suicune with its KING DDD set.

Moves
=======

* Calm Mind is used to set up and makes Stored Power very powerful and making Mega Latias more bulky, which can become quite a monster for the opponent to face if all the Physcial attackers are dead.
Reword this & talk about how calm mind makes it bulkier or the special side allowing it to take on attacks that it normally would not be able to such as Choice Scarf Latios's Draco Meteor or Mega Diancie's Moonblast after a few boosts

*Roost help keeps Mega Latias stay on the field and can heal while it sets up.
*Stored Power is Psychic-type STAB attack pairs well with Calm Mind due to how naturally bulky Mega Latias is and how Stored Power works with Stat Boosts.
Talk about things that stored power allows it to beat

*Thunderbolt can be run over Refresh to not be completely walled by Dark-types. It is a great neutral attack to have that hits common Pokemon such as Celesteela, and Mantine. Another thing it does is hit Steel-types neutrally and any water type. which can mean to get rid of the Air Balloon on Heatran so Garchomp can come in and sweep.
The second part of this bullet starting with 'Another thing' is more of a usage tip/team options imo, support for Garchomp should not be mentioned in set details

*Refresh is to keep status off of Mega Latias so it can set up on Chansey and other common Pokemon that have Toxic. It can also come in on a toxic so the teammate does not have to take damage.
The second part of this bullet is more a Usage tip

Set Details
========

* Timid is ran with max speed to outspeed common Pokemon such as Keldeo, Charizard-Y, Terrakion, and Cobailon.
* 248 HP is ran in order to make Mega Latias as bulky as possible so it can set up on Physical Pokemon while still running max speed.
*Levitate allows Mega Latias to come in on Earth Power and Earthquake as long as the Pokemon does not have Mold Breaker or Teravolt.

*Add a bullet about Latiasite and what it does

Usage Tips
========

* Do not set up while there is a Dark-Type Pokemon, as it gets walled by any Dark-Type Pokemon in the game if running Refresh.
Mention how Thunderbolt can help it get past some Dark-types

* Mega Latias does not have a lot of power without setting up with Calm Mind first because of how Stored Power works.
* Be wary of Alolan Muk on Poison as pursuit does a lot of damage, leaving Latias-Mega in range for another Pokemon to kill it.
Talk about Pursuit in general and trying to bait Alolan Muk in with Mega Latias and switching to a teammate that can handle it such as Garchomp.

*Set up on a wall that does not carry leech seed or is a non-effective Special attacker such as Seismitoad or Gastrodon. reword this
It can also set up easily on Chansey and Porygon2 from the natural bulk that Mega Latias has as Porygon2 can only 3OHKO it if rocks are there.
I would not talk about Porygon2 here threatening it as it can always switch in on Porygon2 and really only loses to like an Ice Beam freeze.

*Avoid Toxic if not running Refresh as this puts a timer on Mega Latias and greatly cripple it.
*Evolving Mega Latias immediately allows it have more bulk and start setting up.
*Make sure all Mega Latias checks and counters are gone or severely weaken so it can set up with Calm Mind and sweep.

* Talk about switching in on Status moves such as Toxic if it carries Refresh.

Team Options
========

* Garchomp can aid with Stealth Rock, putting hazards on the field to help chip Pokemon on switch in and also can punish Physical Pokemon with contact with Rough Skin. It also gets rid of common taunt users such as Heatran and Crobat. Garchomp can also take care of Pokemon such as Diancie, Tapu Koko when running Sash Chomp, which Mega Latias appreciates.
Rephrase the part about Sash Chomp

* Latios or Hydreigon can run Defog to keep hazards off the field while also helping with Choice Scarf Pokemon that Mega Latias cannot outspeed. While both can run Defog, the better option is Latios due to its speed and being able to run trick to trap a wall in a move. Latios helps more with fighting Pokemon such as Keldeo, and common scarfers such as Heracross, Terrakion and Infernape where Hydreigon cannot.
I would not clump together Latios and Hydreigon in team options. I do not like Hydreigon as a Choice Scarfer since Latios does it better due to its speed tier and Hydreigon is still outspeed by pokemon like Choice Scarf Victini.

* Kyurem-Black is a great Physical wallbreaker that can be paired with Latias to help take out Greninja on water and Azumarill. While helping breaking Toxapex and Mantine, both common Haze users. It also takes care of Hippowdon on Ground with a STAB Ice Beam.
Talk about how it appreciates Mega Latias ability to take fighting-type attacks for Kyurem-Black and is able to beat pokemon such as Porygon2 and Chansey which it cant.

*Dragonite is another good Physical wallbreaker that can help with its Extreme Speed to wear down Greninja and can be a late game sweeper with Extremespeed since mons would be worn down. It also can help break Bisharp on Steel with a Superpower or Fire punch.

*Kommo-o helps break annoying whirlwind users such as Skarmory, and Roar users such as Tank Garchomp. Kommo-o is a great mixed sweeper that can easily take out Dark Pokemon which Mega Latias would have trouble with.
Garchomp is not a Roar user it can run Dragon Tail. Give another example though Tank Chomp is p shit in Gen7. Also talk

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options

Dragon
--------
* Substitute can be ran so ditto cannot copy it and being able to shut down any non super special attacks after a Calm Mind boost, but Chansey easily breaks the sub and can wear down Mega Latias.

Talk about how using Substitute prevents you from being able to use Heal Bell or Thunderbolt and give an explanation why its not as optimal as Refresh / Thunderbolt.

* Energy Ball could also be ran as a second attacking move to hit water and ground types, but Thunderbolt is overall better as a second attacking move.
* Ice Beam can be used also over Stored Power to hit flying types and opposing dragon Pokemon.
*Dragon Pulse can be ran for having Dragon Stab, but loses the ability to hit steel types neutrally with Thunderbolt.
None of these moves aside Substitute are even worth putting in OO

Checks and Counters
===================

Dragon
--------
**Dark-Types** Dark types can easily wall Mega Latias with only Stored Power as an attacking move, and therefore does not do much in the matchup.
Talk about how some are threatened by tbolt and mention how Krookodile completely walls Mega Latias

**Taunt Users** Taunt easily shuts down Mega Latias and a non-boosted Stored Power is nothing to be afraid of.
Also talk about how Taunt prevents it from Recovering off damage and give examples of taunt users such as Tapu Koko.

**Haze Users** Mantine and Toxapex can run Haze, which gets rid of the Calm Mind boosts, making Stored Power useless, which after hazing it should be range of Thunderbolt if its being ran.
I would not talk about Thunderbolt like this I would say they can check its CM boosts with Haze then in the next sentence talk about how they have to be careful of Thunderbolt.

**Phasers** This can get rid of the stat boosts it has from Calm Mind, which would make Mega Latias useless and taking damage from Stealth Rocks.
I would combine phasers and haze users into one bullet and again give examples off what could Phase out Mega Latias.

**Physical Wallbeakers** Band Mamoswine can easily half Mega Latias with Ice Shard, and PP stall the roost out, and if Mega Latias is not at +2 Mamoswine can just click Icicle Crash and OHKO Mega Latias from full. Another one is band Diggersby which with return can easily 2OHKO Mega Latias.
Talk about why they can break Mega Latias more easily as the Calm Mind boosts do not affect the damage output they have on it.

**Pursuit Users** Mega Latias is vulnerable to being Pursuit trappedand taking a lot of damage from it due to Pursuit doubling in power. If Alolan Muk is alive, Mega Latias gets walled by it and has risk of being Pursuit trapped. Which would badly damage Mega Latias leaving it in range of another Pokemon on the team.

Dragon
========

* Latias's Mega Evolution is incredibly bulky thanks to its 80 HP/150 SpD and 120 Def, allowing it to take Physical and Special hits while setting up and shaking them off with Roost. This seems like pretty basic information that can be gained by looking at its stats. I'd just shorten this by mentioning how its great bulk gives it setup opportunities
*It is also one of the few dragons that can use Roost viably, allowing it to survive hits and being able to get HP back.It allows for Mega Latias to set up with Calm Mind and take care of threats such as Mega Diancie with Stored Power and taking hits from Moonblast with ease thanks to Roost and from Calm Mind. It isn't really that important to bring up how it's one of the only Dragons with access to Roost. Just mention how it helps sustain Mega Latias throughout a match.
*Mega Latias also has Refresh which will prolong its life with shaking off status moves that can put a timer on it such as Toxic. I'd mention a few Toxic users that Refresh would be useful against.
*On dragon teams, it greatly helps with the Normal matchup since Mega Latias can 1v1 Chansey with Roosting off damage from Seismic Toss and using Refresh to get off Toxic or Thunder Wave. Mega Latias then sets up with Calm Mind and blasting Chansey with Stored Power since after a few boosts from Calm Mind, Stored Power becomes powerful enough to deal with Chansey and other threats such as Suicune, Toxapex with no haze, Mantine, and Porygon 2.
*Mega Latias Psychic-Typing threatens Fighting Pokemon such as Keldeo, Terrakion and Heracross from not knowing if Latias is Mega or holding another item such as Choice Scarf or a Z-Crystal. Regular Latias isn't really worth mentioning in the Overview, especially when both Keldeo and Terrakion lose to mega, and regular isn't even that viable.

* It also has competition from Mega Altaria for the mega slot for being able to help in the Dragon mirror and the Dark Matchup where both matchups Mega Latias does not do anything in. Mega Altaria can also helps with the same threats that Mega Latias can with Dragon Dance and sweep Normal as long as Ditto does not match the Return/Frustration Happiness. Mega Altaria can also run Heal Bell to get status off teammates, something that Mega Latias cannot do.
* Put Mega Latias's uselessness against Dark-types in a separate bullet so that it isn't jumbled with its competition with Mega Altaria
* Mention its immunity to Ground allowing it to set up against certain Ground-types, and the importance of its immunity to Toxic Spikes in the Water matchup, since that's a pretty big point to take into account.
* Definitely mention physical wallbreakers that can break right past Mega Latias

Moves
========

* Calm Mind is used to set up and makes Stored Power very powerful due to making Mega Latias more bulky by allowing it to take Special attacks after a few boosts from Fairy Types such as Tapu Koko, and Mega Diancie. It can also take Dragon type moves from Latios, and Hydeigion. This can become quite a monster for the opponent to face if all the Banded Physical attackers are dead since it is very hard to kill with Special Attackers if Mega Latias has a few boosts on it from Calm Mind. There's too much in this bullet. Just shorten it to talk about Calm Mind increasing Stored Power's damage as well as allowing it to take more special hits. I'd also list some different examples of special attackers, since Choice Specs/LO Taunt Hydreigon is still a huge threat to this set.
*Roost help keeps Mega Latias stay on the field and can heal while it sets up.
*Stored Power is Psychic-Type STAB attack and its a good combo with Calm Mind due to how naturally bulky Mega Latias is and how Stored Power works with Stat Boosts. This allows it to beat common walls like Chansey, Suicune, Porygon 2 and Mantine. You already mention Mantine in the bullet about Thunderbolt, so it isn't worth mentioning here. I'd also move Suicune to the Thunderbolt bullet too, and replace it with a different example.
*Refresh is to keep status off of Mega Latias so it can set up on Chansey and other common mons that have Toxic(list some of these Pokemon. Also for the sake of formality, call them 'Pokemon', not 'mons'). Latias Mega can also come in on a toxic so the teammate does not have to take damage.
*Thunderbolt can be run over Refresh to not be completely walled by Dark types. It is a great neutral attack to have that hits common Pokemon such as Celesteela, Slowbro and Mantine. Another thing it does is hit Steel types neutrally and any water type, which can mean to get rid of Balloon on Heatran so Garchomp can come in and sweep. (It's best if the entire second sentence is removed. Mentioning how it can hit Steel types isn't that important when it only needs Thunderbolt to beat 1 relevant Steel type in Celesteela. The other ones are Pokemon that Mega Latias either loses to or that it can already beat with Stored Power+Refresh. Also Garchomp isn't sweeping Steel or Fire, and Heatran's Balloon can be popped by Stored Power as well, so it's not worth having this sentence at all.)

Set Details
========

(why 248 HP and not 252)
*Levitate allows Mega Latias to come in on Earth Power and Earthquake as long as the Pokemon does not have Mold Breaker or Teravolt. (this is pretty self-explanatory, since it's just explaining what Levitate does. You need to explain why it's relevant to its role)

*Latiasite allows Latias to mega evolve. (this bullet isn't needed)

Usage Tips
========

* Do not set up while there is a Dark-Type Pokemon, as it gets walled by any Dark-Type Pokemon in the game if running Refresh and have only Stored Power as its only attacking move.
* Be wary of Alolan Muk on Poison as pursuit does a lot of damage, leaving Latias-Mega in range for another Pokemon to kill it. Mega Latias beats Alolan Muk 1v1 if it's carrying Thunderbolt, so this bullet isn't needed.

*Set up on a wall that does not carry leech seed or on a non-effective Special attacker such as Semistoad or Gastrodon.
*It can also set up easily on Chansey and Porygon2 from the natural bulk that Mega Latias has as Porygon2 can only 3KO it if rocks are there. (Merge this bullet with the above one, since they're essentially saying the same thing about setting up against passive Pokemon)
*Avoid Toxic if not running Refresh as this puts a timer on Mega Latias and greatly cripple it.
*Make sure all Mega Latias checks and counters are gone or severely weaken so it can set up with Calm Mind and sweep.
* Mention some offensive Pokemon that it can safely set up against

Team Options
========

* Garchomp can aid with Stealth Rock, putting hazards on the field(is there some important KO that it needs Stealth Rock for?). It also gets rid of common taunt users such as Heatran.Garchomp can also take care of mons such as Diancie, Tapu Koko when running Sash Chomp, which Mega Latias appreciates. With Fire Blast and Earthquake, both coverage moves helps with the Steel matchup. Dragon Tail or Roar can be ran to get rid of set up sweepers.(I'd list some examples of setup sweepers that Garchomp can stop)
* Latios can run Defog to keep hazards off the field while also helping with scarfers that Mega Latias cannot outspeed.(I'd list some of these Choice Scarf Pokemon) Latios helps with fighting Pokemon such as Keldeo, and common scarfers such as Heracross, Terrakion and Infernape. (Mega Latias easily beats Keldeo, Terrakion, and Infernape, so I'd use some different offensive threats as examples)
*Hydreigon is a great Special wallbreaker and weaken threats to Mega Latias from the boost from Choice Specs. It can also run Choice Scarf to revenge kill threats such as Blacephalon, and Specs Gengar. Hydregion also gets rid of Psychic-types that threaten Mega Latias such as Slowbro and Jirachi. (How does Slowbro threaten Mega Latias when it dies to a boosted Thunderbolt, and Refresh sets beat it 1v1?) Hydregion can also check Steel-types with Flamethrower and Focus Blast. Focus Blast can also help in the Dark matchup as it can OHKO Tyranitar and Bisharp.
* Kyurem-Black is a great mixed wallbreaker that can be paired with Latias to help take out Greninja on water and Azumarill. While also breaking both Toxapex and Mantine, both common Haze users. It also takes care of Zapdos and other common Flying Pokemon with a STAB Ice Beam. (Mega Latias can beat just about every bulky Flying type in the metagame, so I wouldn't mention that.)

*Dragonite is another good Physical wallbreaker that can help with its Extreme Speed to wear down Greninja. Extremespeed can help with Volcarona with 2koing it and still be able to switch out. It can easily revenge kill Pokemon that are weaken. Dragonites Superpower can break walls such as Chansey, Porygon2(Mega Latias already beats both of these Pokemon) and also steel Pokemon such as Stakataka, Heatran, and Bisharp. Superpower is also useful with dealing with Dark Pokemon in general since superpower can easily get a KO(Mention some Dark-types that Superpower can KO). Dragonite's Fire punch can deal with steel mons such as Mega Scizor, Celesteela, and Excadrill(it already beats both Celesteela and Excadrill). Fire coverage also helps with Ferrotress on Bug.(again, it already beats Forretress on its own)
*Kommo-o helps break annoying whirlwind users such as Skarm, and roar users such as Tank Garchomp. Kommo-o is a great mixed sweeper that can easily take out Dark Pokemon which Mega Latias would have trouble with such as Bisharp, Alolan Muk, Mega Sharpedo and Tyranitar. It can also break normal walls with Chansey and Porygon 2.(if it can already beat Chansey and Porygon2 on its own then why would that be an incentive to using Kommo-o? I'd mention some other bulky Steel-types that Kommo-o can muscle past like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor)

* Substitute can be ran so Ditto cannot copy it and being able to shut down any non super special attacks after a Calm Mind boost. Chansey easily breaks the sub and can wear down Mega Latias. Ditto is never beating Mega Latias if it copies, so Substitute isn't really worth a mention
* Ice Beam can be used also over Stored Power to hit flying types and opposing dragon Pokemon. List some examples of Dragon types that Ice Beam can beat
* Here's where I'd mention regular Choice Scarf Latias for not only its Healing Wish utility to support Mega Altaria and Kommo-o, but also to let Latios run a wallbreaking set.

Dragon

**Dark-Types** Dark types can easily wall Mega Latias with only Stored Power as an attacking move, and therefore cannot do anything in the matchup. List some examples of Dark-types that beat Mega Latias without Thunderbolt, as well as ones that beat it regardless

**Taunt Users** Taunt easily shuts down Mega Latias and a non-boosted Stored Power is nothing to be afraid of. Again, you need to list examples here

**Haze Users** Mantine and Toxapex can run Haze, which gets rid of the Calm Mind boosts, making Stored Power useless, which after hazing it should be range of Thunderbolt if its being ran.

**Phasers** This can get rid of the stat boosts it has from Calm Mind, which would make Mega Latias useless and taking damage from Stealth Rocks. Examples

**Physical Wallbeakers** Band Mamoswine can easily half Mega Latias with Ice Shard, and PP stall the roost out, and if Mega Latias is not at +2 Mamoswine can just click Icicle Crash and OHKO Mega Latias from full. Another one is band Diggersby which with return can easily 2KO Mega Latias. Mention Mega Scizor and Alolan Marowak

**Pursuit Users** Mega Latias is vurable to being Pursuited and taking a lot of damage from it due to Pursuit doubling in power. If Alolan Muk is alive on Poison, Mega Latias gets walled by Muk and has risk of being Pursuited. Which would badly damage Mega Latias leaving it in range of another Pokemon on the team.Mega Latias beats Alolan Muk 1v1 if it's carrying Thunderbolt, so there is no reason to fear Pursuit. Mega Latias honestly isn't even that susceptible to Pursuit trappers, so I wouldn't bother with this bullet

**Dragon-types**

[OVERVIEW]

Dragon
========

* Latias's Mega Evolution is incredibly bulky thanks to its 80 HP/150 SpD and 120 Def, allowing it to take Physical and Special hits while setting up and shaking them off with Roost.
*Mega Latias also has Refresh which will prolong its life with shaking off status moves that can put a timer on it such as Toxic. This allows it to 1v1 Zapdos, Chansey, Porygon 2, Mantine, Toxapex, Cradily and Gastrodon that commonly run Toxic.

These three bullets should be completely rewritten. You should first talk about Mega Latias broadly, and the role it serves on Dragon, then go into specifics. There's also a lot of repetition and fluff. Here's a rough skeleton of what these above bullets should look like.
* Using Calm Mind and Stored power, Mega Latias can serve as an effective defensive win-condition for Dragon that tears through otherwise troublesome matchups such as Normal.
* Mega Latias has excellent defenses, good resistances and reliable recovery that help it set up on / manage X, Y, and Z.
* Mega Latias matches up well against opposing walls such as X and Y using Refresh to bypass status, and can quickly break them after Calm Mind given its high Special Attack.

* Mega Latias immunity to Ground thanks to Levitate allows it to not get Poisoned by Toxic Spikes and hurt by Spikes. An immunity to Ground-type attacks has more relevant utility in avoiding Ground-type attacks, not hazards. You should mention how this is useful in the ground matchup.
* Mega Latias is useless in the Dark Matchup as if its only running Stored Power it has no way to hit Dark Types. This bullet should be about Mega Latias's limited moveset. It can deal with Dark-types if it has Thunderbolt, but then it loses to walls without Refresh; it can't do both.
* Mega Latias also cannot take Physical hits from Physical Wallbreakers such as Diggersby, Mamoswine, Alolan Marowak, Tyranitar, Bisharp, and Scizor. You don't need this many examples; I would just mention Diggersby, Bisharp, and Mamoswine. I would also mention that this limits Mega-Latias's set up opportunities.
* It also has competition from Mega Altaria for the mega slot for being able to help in the Dragon mirror where Mega Latias does not do anything in. You can just say "Mega Latias faces competition for the mega slot from Mega Altaria, who has more broad use as a set up sweeper against X, Y, and Z as well as valuable utility in the Dragon mirror."

**Add a bullet discussing Mega Latias's lack of immediate power without Calm Mind. and how it can find itself largely dead weight in matchups where it has no safe set up opportunities such as X and Y (or losing to Hazers such as Mantine and phazers such as Skarmory).

Moves
========

* Calm Mind is used to set up and makes Stored Power very powerful due to making Mega Latias more bulky by allowing it to take Special attacks after a few boosts from Fairy Types such as Tapu Koko, and Mega Diancie. It can also take Dragon type moves from Latios. It can also wall Special Attackers such as Alolan Raichu, Nililego, and Heatran. This bullet is very confusing; remove the last two lines and explain that Calm Mind boosts Stored Power's BP.
*Roost help keeps Mega Latias stay on the field and can heal while it sets up.
*Stored Power is Psychic-Type STAB attack and its a good combo with Calm Mind due to how naturally bulky Mega Latias is and how Stored Power works with Stat Boosts. This allows it to beat common walls like Chansey, Cradily, Porygon 2, Rotom-W and Zapdos. You should explain that Stored Power gains 20 BP for every stat boost. This section would probably flow better if this was the first bullet, followed by Calm Mind. (in which case you would reorder the set's move order as well)

*Refresh is to keep status off of Mega Latias so it can set up on Chansey and other common Pokemon that have Toxic such as Zapdos, Porygon 2, and Cradily. Latias Mega can also come in on a toxic so the teammate does not have to take damage. immediate Refer to the pokemon Refresh helps with as "walls". "Refresh helps Mega Latias set up on and beat common walls such as X, Y, and Z"
*Thunderbolt can be run over Refresh to not be completely walled by Dark types. It is a great neutral attack to have that hits common Pokemon such as Celesteela, Slowbro, Suicune and Mantine. You should bring up the walls / phazers / hazers that Thunderbolt helps beat too, such as Skarmory. You should also explain the downsides of dropping Refresh here.

Set Details
========

* Timid is ran with max speed to outspeed common Pokemon such as Keldeo, Charizard-Y, Terrakion, and Cobailon.
* 252 HP is ran in order to make Mega Latias as bulky as possible so it can set up on Physical Pokemon while still running max speed. Remove the second half of this sentence, and just say "to offer Mega Latias more set up opportunities".

*Levitate allows Mega Latias to come in on Earth Power and Earthquake as long as the Pokemon does not have Mold Breaker or Teravolt. Having Levitate also allows it not to be Poisoned by Toxic Spikes or hurt by Spikes.
*Latiasite allows Latias to mega evolve.

Usage Tips
========

* Do not set up while there is a Dark-Type Pokemon, as it gets walled by any Dark-Type Pokemon in the game if running Refresh and have only Stored Power as its only attacking move. Say "If not running thunderbolt" instead of "if running refresh"
* Be wary of Alolan Muk on Poison as pursuit does a lot of damage, leaving Latias-Mega in range for another Pokemon to kill it like Nilhlego or Gengar. While Thunderbolt can 1v1 it, running Refresh will leave it useless against Alolan Muk. Rewrite this to be a bullet for Pursuit trappers in general (Scizor, Heracross, Tyranitar).
*Set up on a wall that does not carry leech seed or on a non-effective Special attacker such as Semistoad or Gastrodon. It can also set up easily on Chansey and Porygon2 from the natural bulk that Mega Latias has as Porygon2 can only 3KO it if rocks are there. Say "Set Mega Latias up against walls that cannot threaten it such as X and Y."
*Avoid Toxic if not running Refresh as this puts a timer on Mega Latias and greatly cripple it. Make this bullet about Status in general, since Paralysis can also cripple Mega Latias.
*Make sure all Mega Latias checks and counters are gone or severely weaken so it can set up with Calm Mind and sweep. This line should be baked into the first two bullets.
*Mega Latias can set up on any Special or Physical attacker that is not super effective like Zapdos, Charizard-Y, Landorus, Terrakion, Infernape, Tapu Bulu, Heatran, Alolan Golem, and Alolan Raichu. This is blatantly false, Mega Latias is not able to set up on "any physical attacker that isn't Super Effective".

**Add a bullet for being careful not to set up on wallbreakers that can 2HKO Mega Latias and Mega Latias cannot immediately threaten, such as Mega Diancie and Diggersby.
**Add a bullet on using Mega Latias to create double switch opportunities. Given how effectively certain checks deal with Mega Latias and how reliably they do so; you can often exploit this to double to a teammate.

Team Options
========

* Garchomp can aid with Stealth Rock, putting hazards on the field. This allows sashes to be broken and put damage on Pokemon when they switch in. It also gets rid of common taunt users such as Heatran.Garchomp can also take care of mons such as Diancie, Tapu Koko when running Sash Chomp, which Mega Latias appreciates. With Fire Blast and Earthquake, both coverage moves helps with the Steel matchup. Dragon Tail or Roar can be ran to get rid of set up sweepers such as Mega Gyarados, Terrakion, Dragonite, and Gallade. Cut the line that explains what Stealth Rock does; is there any specific KO Mega Latias needs Stealth Rocks to get? Drop Terrakion from the list of set up sweepers Dragon Tail manages, since Earthquake also takes it out.
* Latios can run Defog to keep hazards off the field while also helping with scarfers that Mega Latias cannot outspeed such as Infernape, Terrakion, Hydreigon, Gengar, Balacephalon, Victini, and Kyurem-Black. Drop Victini and Infernape from your list of examples, since these don't threaten Mega Latias anyways.
*Hydreigon is a great Special wallbreaker and weaken threats to Mega Latias from the boost from Choice Specs. It can also run Choice Scarf to revenge kill threats such as Blacephalon, and Specs Gengar. Hydregion also gets rid of Psychic-types that threaten Mega Latias such as Jirachi. Hydregion can also check Steel-types with Flamethrower and Focus Blast. Focus Blast can also help in the Dark matchup as it can OHKO Tyranitar and Bisharp. The main way that Hydreigon supports Mega Latias is by threatening Steel and Psychic types that Mega Latias struggles to beat. You should start this bullet with that. Focus Blast is not worth mentioning.
* Kyurem-Black is a great mixed wallbreaker that can be paired with Latias to help take out Greninja on water and Azumarill. While also breaking both Toxapex and Mantine, both common Haze users. This bullet is kinda confusing; just say Kyurem-Black helps break types such as Water, Flying, and Poison that Mega Latias can struggle against.
*Dragonite is another good Physical wallbreaker that can help with its Extreme Speed to wear down Greninja. Extremespeed can help with Volcarona with 2koing it and still be able to switch out. It can easily revenge kill Pokemon that are weaken. Dragonites Superpower kills steel Pokemon such as Stakataka, Heatran, and Bisharp. Superpower is also useful with dealing with Dark Pokemon in general since superpower can easily get a KO such as Tyranitar, Mega Sharpedo, Krookodile, and Bisharp. Dragonite's Fire punch can deal with steel mons such as Mega Scizor, Celesteela, and Excadrill. This is starting to sound like the moves section of Set Details for Dragonite. You don't need to go into so much detail for each Pokemon.
Kommo-o also helps with Steel Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Bisharp, Mega Scizor, and Heatran. Move the first line of this bullet to the end.

Other Options
=============

Dragon
--------
* Substitute can be ran to shut down any non super special attacks after a Calm Mind boost and avoid Status moves such as Toxic. But be aware Chansey easily breaks the sub and can wear down Mega Latias since Substitute takes HP to make the Substitute.
* Ice Beam can be used also over Stored Power to hit flying types and opposing dragon Pokemon such as Garchomp and Dragonite if Mutiscale is broken. Mention that Ice Beam has utility in the Ground matchup as well. You should also talk about the downsides of dropping Stored Power.

Checks and Counters
===================

Dragon
--------
**Dark-Types** Dark types can easily wall Mega Latias with only Stored Power as an attacking move, and therefore cannot do anything in the matchup. bullets Say "Without Thunderbolt, Mega Latias is completely walled by Dark-types."

**Dragon-Types** Dragon types can KO Mega Latias easily. Latios has a chance to kill Mega Latias from full if a Calm Mind is not set up and rocks are down. I would focus on the Dragon types that check Mega Latias even if it has boosted with Calm mind, such as Scarf Garchomp or Dragonite.

**Taunt Users** Taunt easily shuts down Mega Latias and a non-boosted Stored Power is nothing to be afraid of such as Hydreigon, Crobat, Cobailon, Infernape and Tapu Koko. bullets Only mention the Taunt users that can actually threaten / shut down Mega Latias i.e. Tapu Koko and Heatran. Hydreigon shuts down Mega Latias anyways regardless of Taunt, Mega Latias outspeeds Cobalion and Infernape, and Crobat is scared of T-bolt or Stored Power.

**Haze Users** Mantine and Toxapex can run Haze, which gets rid of the Calm Mind boosts, making Stored Power useless, which after hazing it should be range of Thunderbolt if its being ran. Both of these hazers are only a threat if Thunderbolt isn't being ran, typically, so clarify that.

**Phasers** This can get rid of the stat boosts it has from Calm Mind, which would make Mega Latias useless and taking damage from Stealth Rocks such as Skarmory, Garchomp, and Hippowdon. Rephrase this to "Phasers such as Skarmory and Hippowdon can take advantage of Mega Latias's poor immediate power to get it off the field before it sets up"

Band Scizor's U-Turn OHKOs Mega Latias if rocks are down. Mega Scizor just have to set up one Swords Dance and U-turn out and Mega Latias get OHKOed. Alolan Marowark's Shadow Bone easily OHKOs Mega Latias. Rephrase this to "Strong physical attackers such as X, Y, and Z can break Mega Latias and are not threatened by its unboosted attacks."

**Pursuit Users** Mega Latias is vurable to being Pursuited and taking a lot of damage from it due to Pursuit doubling in power. If Alolan Muk is alive on Poison, Mega Latias gets walled by Muk and is being risk of being Pursuited if running Refresh and not Thunderbolt. Which would badly damage Mega Latias leaving it in range of another Pokemon on the team.
This analysis is weirdly both lacking information and bloated with information. Take a close look over all of your examples in your bullets and think about which really relevant to the points being made. You also often go into specific examples of a point before speaking about it more generally, leaving your point unclear. There's a problem in general with your bullets wherein the important information is surrounded by fluff and repetition.

I would take a closer look at other approved analyses, such as those written by the QC team (or on the strategy dex now) to get a better idea of how to write these analyses and properly convey what's important about a Pokemon.

QC 2/3 Rejected.

[OVERVIEW]

Dragon
========

* Using Calm Mind and Stored Power, Mega Latias can serve as an effective defensive win-condition for Dragon that tears through otherwise troublesome matchups such as Normal.
* Mega Latias has excellent defenses, good resistances and reliable recovery that help it set up on Excadrill, Charizard Y, and Tapu Bulu. Replace Tapu Bulu, its not exactly a threat to Dragon. If you want an example from Fairy, Tapu Koko works since it can be quite threatening to dragon but latias can handle magnet sets even after rocks, or even something like Clefable. Alternatively, Choice Scarf Greninja could be a good example here. I'd also suggest swapping out excadrill, as Sand Rush sets can run Latias over and even scarf will often win thanks to iron head 3hkoing and having a great flinch chance.
* Refresh helps it beat walls that rely on status such as such as Chansey and Porygon 2. Refresh doesnt do this; refresh lets it set up which lets it do this
* Mega Latias useful Ground immunity allows it to come in on Ground-type moves and avoid damage from Spikes and Toxic Spikes or slowed down from Sticky Web. This allows a teammate not take damage from ground moves. That's kind of obvious. I would focus more on how it can gain momentum or free setup turns.
* Mega Latias is useless in the Dark Matchup if its only running Stored Power. It has no way to hit Dark Types. It can run Thunderbolt to not be walled by Dark-types but loses the ability to take on walls like Chansey or Porygon 2 that carry a status move. Rewrite this
* Mega Latias struggles to set up against teams with wallbreakers such as Diggersby, Mamoswine and Bisharp as they are able to switch in on a Calm Mind and threaten it out with a heavy attack.
* Mega Latias also struggles to set up in match ups such as Fairy, Flying and Poison as it is either scared out by super effective damage or by utility moves such as Whirlwind and Haze. I wouldn't really use flying as an example here, they have to know your set (refresh vs tbolt) to even have a chance at stopping it (refresh sets up again on toxic users, then blows mantine / skarm away with +3/3 stored power, while bringing mantine / skarm in on the tbolt set is a quick bop)
* Mega Altaria gives Mega Latias competition as a Mega slot as a Dragon Dance user with more immediate power and a typing that aids in matchups like Dark, which Mega Latias cannot excel in.

Moves
========
*Stored Power is Psychic-type STAB attack and its a good combination with Calm Mind due to how naturally bulky Mega Latias is and how Stored Power works with gaining 20 BP from each Calm Mind. This allows it to beat common walls like Chansey, Cradily, Porygon 2, Rotom-W and Zapdos,. 40 bp per cm or 20 per stat boost. Either of these would work, but not what you have.
* Calm Mind goes hand-in-hand with Stored Power, increasing Mega Latias’ Power and bulk as well as it’s own BP every time it obtains a boost. Put this bullet above stored power
*Roost help keeps Mega Latias stay on the field and can heal while it sets up.
*Refresh is to keep status off of Mega Latias so it can beat walls such as Chansey. Zapdos, and Porygon 2 all that usually carry a status move, making it stay alive longer and isn't forced to be swapped out since it can cure itself. Mention that it lets it set up on chansey / p2, etc, not beat it by itself. Cause and effect here is missing a step.
*Thunderbolt can be run over Refresh to not be completely walled by Dark-type Pokemon. It also helps with Celesteela, Slowbro, and Scicune. It also helps against common hazers and Phasers (they aren't the same thing) such as Mantine, Toxapex and Skarmory. The downside to running Thunderbolt is that Mega Latias cannot get rid of status and be put on a timer.

Set Details

* Timid is ran with max speed to outspeed common Pokemon such as Keldeo, Charizard-Y, Terrakion, and Cobailon.
* 252 HP is ran in order to make Mega Latias as bulky as possible to offer Mega Latias more set up opportunities.
*Levitate allows Mega Latias to come in on a Ground-Type attacks for free and allows Mega Latias to as long as the Pokemon does not have Mold Breaker or Teravolt. Having Levitate also allows it not to be Poisoned by avoid Toxic Spikes or hurt by Spikes. It also lets it not be slowed down from Sticky Web.

Usage Tips
========

* Due to Stored Power often being Mega Latias' only attack, make sure that the rest of the team has ways of dealing with them to fill the weakness in the team.
* Be wary of Alolan Muk, Heracross, Scizor, and Tyranitar as Pursuit does a lot of damage, leaving Mega latias in range for another Pokemon to kill KO it. I'd also remove heracross, as you have enough examples and playing against pursuit heracross is a bit different since if it pursuits you can 50-50 to stay in and ko
*Set up Mega Latias up against walls that does not threat it such as Semistoad, Gastrodon, Chansey and Porygon2, which forces situations where a wall has to switch in and pulling a switch in order to gain momentum.
*Avoid Status if not running Refresh as it cripples Mega Latias and can put a timer on it, getting a speed drop and chance not to move since paralyzed or taking damage from burn. Burn isn't bad, the chip can be annoying but thats basically 1+ free setup turns and makes you immune to toxic. Replace Burn with Toxic.
*Mega Latias can set up on any Special attacker that is not super effective like Zapdos, Mega Charizard-Y, Landorus, and Alolan Raichu.
*Be careful not to set up on wallbreakers that can 2HKO Mega Latias and Mega Latias cannot immediately threaten, such as Mega Diancie and Diggersby. Mega Latias can bait a switch in to one of these Pokemon and switching out to a Pokemon that can kill the Pokemon.
*Mega Latias can also create double switch opportunities. Given how effectively certain checks deal with Mega Latias and how reliably they do so; you can often exploit this to double to a teammate. Such as Diggersby coming in predicting Calm Mind, and going to Kyurem-B to get the threat gone. This bullet seems a bit iffy but I'll leave anything to QC

Team Options
========

* Garchomp can aid with Stealth Rock. This allows sashes to be broken and put damage on Pokemon when they switch in, limiting the number of times something can switch in. Garchomp can also take care of Pokemon such as Diancie when running Sash Chomp, which Mega Latias appreciates. With Fire Blast and Earthquake, both coverage moves helps with the Steel matchup. Dragon Tail or Roar can be ran to get rid of set up sweepers such as Mega Gyarados, Dragonite, and Gallade. Roar Garchomp isn't really a thing.
* Latios can run Defog to keep hazards off the field while also helping with scarfers that Mega Latias cannot outspeed such as Terrakion, Hydreigon, Gengar, Balacephalon, and Kyurem-B. Terrakion is not an important scarfer, Mlatias sets up on it.
*The main way that Hydreigon supports Mega Latias is by threatening Steel and Psychic types that Mega Latias struggles to beat. It is a great Special wallbreaker and weaken threats to Mega Latias from the boost from Choice Specs. It can also run Choice Scarf to revenge kill threats such as Blacephalon, and Specs Gengar. Hydregion also gets rid of Psychic-types that threaten Mega Latias such as Jirachi and Slowbro. Hydregion can also check Steel-types with Flamethrower. Compress this, this shouldnt be that many sentences, rearrange it so fire moves and checking steel types are next to each other, and don't mention it beating psychics twice/
* Kyurem-B is a great mixed wallbreaker that can be paired with Latias to help break Water, Flying and Poison-types that Mega Latias can struggle against.
*Dragonite is another good Physical wallbreaker that can help with its Extremespeed to kill frail Pokemon such as Greninja. Dragonites Superpower and Fire Punch kills steel- and Dark-type Pokemon such as Stakataka, Heatran, Tyranitar, and Bisharp. Superpower is also useful with dealing with Dark Pokemon in general.
*Kommo-o helps break annoying whirlwind users such as Skarmory, and roar users such as Tank Garchomp. Kommo-o is a great mixed sweeper that can easily take out Dark Pokemon which Mega Latias would have trouble with such as Bisharp, Alolan Muk, Mega Sharpedo and Tyranitar. Kommo-o also helps with Steel Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Bisharp, Mega Scizor, and Heatran. Kommo-o helps break annoying whirlwind users such as Skarmory, and roar users such as Tank Garchomp. Ditch the repeat, don't run / mention roar garchomp

Dragon

* Substitute can be ran to shut down any non super special attacks after a Calm Mind boost and avoid Status moves such as Toxic. But be aware Chansey easily breaks the Substitute and can wear down Mega Latias since Substitute takes HP to make the Substitute.
* Ice Beam can be used also over Stored Power to hit flying types and opposing dragon Pokemon such as Garchomp and Dragonite if Mutiscale is broken. Ice Beam helps in the ground matchup with killing Garchomp, Hippowdon and Landorus. But dropping Stored Power causes issues such as Ditto copying Mega Latias and hitting it with Ice Beam, and Chansey walling Mega Latias.

Checks and Counters

Dragon
--------
**Dark-Types** Without Thunderbolt, Mega Latias is completely walled by Dark-types and therefore cannot do anything in the matchup. Mention that even with thunderbolt, dark-type pokemon are still a major threat

**Dragon-Types** Physical Dragon-type moves can KO Mega Latias easily from common dragons such as Garchomp and Kyurem-B. Latios has a chance to kill Mega Latias from full if a Calm Mind is not set up and rocks are down.

**Bug-Types** Heracross can easily KO Mega Latias and Mega Scizor after setting up with Swords Dance. This makes no sense as written. Just ditch the bug category and fold scizor into a steel category, which by the way you should add.

**Fairy-Types** Mega Latias has a hard time setting up with a fairy around such as Mega Diancie, Specs Tapu Koko and Azumarill easily denting KOing Mega Latias.

**Ice-Types** Mamoswine, Sandslash and Kyurem-B easily KO Mega Latias from full with their Stab moves and making it hard to set up. Irrelvant type, you can mention mamo or kyub if you want but kyub is already in dragon, slash isn't really relevant, and mamoswine is under wallbreakers.

**Taunt Users** Taunt easily shuts down Mega Latias and a non-boosted Stored Power is nothing to be afraid of such as Heatran and Tapu Koko.

**Haze Users** Mantine and Toxapex can run Haze, which gets rid of the Calm Mind boosts, making Stored Power useless and unable to kill back unless running Thunderbolt.

**Phasers** Phasers such as Skarmory and Hippowdon can take advantage of Mega Latias's poor immediate power to get it off the field before it sets up.

**Physical Wallbeakers** Strong physical attackers such as Mamoswine, Diggersby, and Mega Scizor can break Mega Latias and are not threatened by its unboosted attacks and easily kill Mega Latias.

**Pursuit Users** Mega Latias is vurable to being Pursuit Trapped and taking a lot of damage from it due to Pursuit doubling in power. If Alolan Muk is alive on Poison, Mega Latias gets walled by Muk and is being risk of being Pursuited if running Refresh and not Thunderbolt. Which would badly damage Mega Latias leaving it in range of another Pokemon on the team. mention some other pursuit users too

Sorry for double posting and this may come off as rude, but can I please get a qc check on this, it's been well over a month since the last qc check that gave me rejected 2/3, kinda want the qc checks done before May comes around because of college exams.

Bear with me considering I'm steadily returning to QC check

[OVERVIEW]

Dragon
========

* Using Calm Mind and Stored Power, Mega Latias can serve as an effective defensive win-condition for Dragon that tears through otherwise troublesome matchups such as Normal.
* Mega Latias has excellent defenses, good resistances and reliable recovery that help it set up on Greninja, Charizard Y, and Tapu Koko.
* Refresh helps it beat walls that rely on status such as such as Chansey and Porygon 2 while setting up with Calm Mind.
* Mega Latias useful Ground immunity allows it to come in on Ground-type moves and avoid damage from Spikes and Toxic Spikes or slowed down from Sticky Web. This allows Mega Latias to set up on Toxic Spikes users such as Toxapex.
* Mega Latias is useless in the Dark Matchup if its only attacking move is Stored Power. While it can run Thunderbolt to not be walled by Dark-types, it loses the ability to take on walls that run a status move.
* Mega Latias struggles to set up against teams with wallbreakers such as Diggersby, Mamoswine and Bisharp as they are able to switch in on a Calm Mind and threaten it out with a heavy attack.
* Mega Latias also struggles to set up in match ups such as Fairy, Steel and Poison as it is either scared out by super effective damage or by utility moves such as Whirlwind and Haze.
* Mega Altaria gives Mega Latias competition as a Mega slot as a Dragon Dance user with more immediate power and a typing that aids in matchups like Dark, which Mega Latias cannot excel in.
The second line, Mega Latias has just about the same resistances as the next Dragon-type: Fire, Electric, Grass, and Water. The only added bonus it has are Psychic and Fighting. I would mention specifically its Psychic typing and how it benefits itself on Dragon teams. I would remove Greninja and Tapu Koko, not good examples. Greninja has access to coverage moves like Ice Beam and Dark Pulse and Mega Latias would have needed to set up already. As for Tapu Koko, some variants run Taunt and that would keep it from setting up Calm Mind and it forces Mega Latias to switch out.
Nit picky here but you can just say it avoids entry hazards bar Stealth Rock. I'll also add that Mega Latias can't technically set up on Toxapex. It'll just be a PP stall war between the two, even if you're running Thunderbolt considering it 3HKOes with it running Black Sludge so neither wins against each other.
Mega Latias doesn't really have much trouble setting up against Poison teams, it just needs to worry about Alolan Muk / Toxapex and after that's out the way, Crobat doesn't necessarily stall it out either with Haze + Roost. Mega Latias can go back and forth with Stored Power and Thunderbolt to waste its PP if not running Refresh.
While yes you do mention that Mega Altaria does outshine Mega Latias (also add how Mega Altaria has a very useful ability in Pixilate), mention what advantages Mega Latias have over Mega Altaria. While the reader is looking at this, you want them to know about the "on the contrary" type of sentence if you get what I mean such as "while these factors that Mega Latias has over Mega Altaria are...." (No you don't have to say the exact same sentence but yeah it's an example).
There should be some talk about Mega Latias's typing. While Dragon / Psychic grants it two extra resistances against Fighting and Psychic itself, you should talk about the handful of weaknesses that come with it. Psychic, while it's an offensive typing, it's rather horrible defensively.

Set Details
Terrakion is usually Choice Scarf so Mega Latias isn't going to be outspeeding that.

Usage Tips
You can remove the entire first line. Instead I would probably say something like this, "With Mega Latias being a sweeper with Calm Mind + Stored Power, it should set up mid- or late-game when its checks and counters are weakened or KOed. I would also remove Tyranitar as an example of a Pursuit user, it's just not good on it.
Mega Latias can bait a switch in to one of these Pokemon and switching out to a Pokemon that can kill the Pokemon.
Please be a bit specific such as giving a scenario. ^
I would also add in there something about Roost. If Mega Latias wants to ever set up Calm Minds, it needs to keep its health up as much as possible even with defensive investment. It's definitely not advised to bring in Mega Latias against stronger attacks either unless it's against attacks it can resist and tank very well.

Team Options
Add that Stealth Rock from Garchomp helps Mega Latias KO threats easier. I haven't did much playing enough but I'm pretty sure that Mega Gyarados isn't used that much. As for Dragonite I don't see it as a setup sweeper, more so a wallbreaker. Use a different example. I seem to remember that Gengar can also run a Choice Scarf set given that Blace isn't Scarf so the best Latios can do is Speed tie with it so I wouldn't recommend Gengar as a good example. Besides, you have Hydreigon that's a good counter to Gengar thanks to its Dark typing. Also I would add how Hydreigon's Dark typing allows it to resist and switch into Dark and Ghost attacks for Mega Latias. Hydreigon doesn't run Flamethrower, Fire Blast has more power so replace that with this instead. There should be somewhere stating how Kyurem-B can also help deal with opposing Dragon teams. As before Mega Latias doesn't necessarily struggle with Poison unless Alolan Muk and Toxapex is on the board. I would just say that Kyurem-B can check threats that Mega Latias struggles against such as Mega Altaria (Choice Scarf variants of Kyurem-B) and take on Toxapex and Alolan Muk. Add that Kommo-o can also take on Ice-types and help cushion Normal matchups for Mega Latias as well.

Checks & Counters
- Mega Latias beats Mantine. Outspeeds it and taking damage from a 4x Thunderbolt, despite it being a 2HKO Mega Latias just beats Mantine, the only thing it can do is Roost and look for a small opening to Haze away Thunderbolt.
- Remove haze users. You can just add that to the phazers part because Haze Pokemon are usually under that category.

Please tag me so I can check this again after implementing, I don't want to overflow you with information all in one post! n_n

Overview:

*Mega Latia's Psychic- and Dragon-Typing allows Mega Latias to resist many types with two extra resistances thanks to Psychic such as Psychic, and Fighting, but with its Psychic-Typing adds the weakness of Bug-, Ghost- and Dark-Types.
* Mega Latias has excellent defenses, two more resistances from its Psychic-typing and reliable recovery that help it set up on Charizard Y, Chansey, Mew, Choice Victini, Terrakion and Choice Scarf Pokemon that are locked in to a non-super effective move.

- I would move this line down to where you're discussing about the cons to Mega Latias, just to keep things more organized (the one I highlighted in red and you don't need to list them since they're in the dex). Also, you have two lines that discuss about its typing, you should merge it all into a single line (and yeah reword the sentence). Psychic is a great offensive typing but it's also pretty bad defensively. "Mega Latias's Psychic typing allows it to also resist Fighting- and Psychic-type attacks from Terrakion and Mew." It can also be talked about in the line of how its awful defensive typing makes it vulnerable against Dark-types therefore it struggles against them.

Moves:
* Calm Mind goes hand-in-hand with Stored Power, increasing Mega Latias’ Power and bulk as well as it’s own BP every time it obtains a boost.
- I would either talk about Calm Mind in one line or Stored Power in the other. Also a bit of redundancy when you already mentioned the Base Power of Stored Power boost in the first line. I would focus more on saying how that not only Calm Mind grants Mega Latias some bulk and power after a few boosts, but also turns it into a dangerous sweeper. And I would say remove the mentioning of the BP increasing, it should be discussed in the next line about Stored Power and what happens from the Calm Mind boosts.

Usage Tips
*Set up Mega Latias up against walls that does not threat it such as Semistoad, Gastrodon, Chansey and Porygon2, which forces situations where a wall has to switch in and pulling a switch in order to gain momentum.
- I don't understand what you mean by this, what is gaining momentum specifically? Are you switching out as they switch out? I don't really see anything gaining momentum if Mega Latias is staying in to set up Calm Mind against these threats considering it has Refresh. Mega Latias pretty much want to be in that situation it wants to begin setting up on bulky threats.
*Mega Latias can set up on any Special attacker that is not super effective like Zapdos, Mega Charizard-Y, Landorus, and Alolan Raichu.
- I mean, there's times Alolan Raichu would carry Hidden Power Ice, does that keep Mega Latias from setting up against it? I would say instead that Mega Latias can also set up on special attackers it's able to beat such as Zapdos, Mega Charizard Y, and Landorus (3 examples are enough btw). Also I would put this line under the part where you mention Mega Latias setting up against bulky threats.

Team Options
* Latios can run Defog to keep hazards off the field while also helping with scarfers that Mega Latias cannot outspeed such as Hydreigon, Balacephalon, and Kyurem-B.
- Should add that specifically, it's that if Latios is running Choice Scarf because the reader would be wondering how is Latios outspeeding, it can outspeed and threaten Pokemon that Mega Latias cannot such as Hydreigon, Blacephalon, and Kyurem-B."
*The main way that Hydreigon supports Mega Latias is by threatening Steel and Psychic types that Mega Latias struggles to beat.
- Mega Latias doesn't struggle to beat Psychic, it only needs to worry about Mega Gallade and well...Mega Gardevoir is pretty uncommon right now. Also, Hydreigon needs to be on the look out for Mega Gallade as well.
* Kommo-o is a great mixed sweeper that can easily take out Dark Pokemon which Mega Latias would have trouble with such as Bisharp, Alolan Muk, Mega Sharpedo and Tyranitar. Kommo-o also helps with Steel Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Bisharp, Mega Scizor, and Heatran. Kommo-o helps break annoying whirlwind users such as Skarmory. It also helps take on Ice and Normal-Type Pokemon thanks to Kommo-o's Fighting-Typing.
- You don't have to mention Bisharp twice in a list of threats. It puts in a bit of redundancy.

Checks & Counters
- *Alolan Muk and not regular Muk for Dark-types.

**Phazers** Phazers such as Skarmory and Hippowdon can take advantage of Mega Latias's poor immediate power to get it off the field before it sets up. Mega Latias also has to watch out for Haze users such as Toxapex and Mantine as it can get rid of its boosts and makes Stored Power useless.
- If you're putting Skarmory and Mantine as checks and counters then you should say that both need to be careful of Mega Latias running Thunderbolt.

Please look through your analysis for grammar as well so that it's sounds more clear, some sentences need to be changed so that they flow better because a few I didn't really understand.

[OVERVIEW]

Dragon
========

* Using Calm Mind, Recover, and Stored Power, Mega Latias can serve as an effective defensive win-condition for Dragon that tears through otherwise troublesome matchups such as Normal.
*Mega Latias' Psychic- and Dragon-Typing allows Mega Latias to resist many types with two extra resistances thanks toits Psychic typing such as Psychic, and Fighting and with reliable recovery. This can allow it set up on Pokemon such as Mega Charizard-Y, Chansey, and Mew.
* Refresh helps it beat annoying walls that rely on status such as Chansey and Porygon 2 while setting up with Calm Mind. This is more of a moves section statement.
* Mega Latias useful Ground immunity allows it to come in on Ground-type moves. It can also avoid damage from Spikes, Toxic Spikes or be slowed down from Sticky Web.
* Mega Latias is useless in the Dark Matchup if its only attacking move is Stored Power. While Mega Latias can run Thunderbolt to not be walled by Dark-types, it loses the ability to take on walls that run a status move.
* Mega Latias struggles to set up against teams with wallbreakers such as Diggersby, Mamoswine and Bisharp as they are able to switch in on a Calm Mind and threaten it out with a heavy attack.
* Mega Latias also struggles to set up in match ups such as Fairy, and SteelWater (or Ground, your choice) as it is either scared out by super effective damage or by utility moves such as Whirlwind and Haze.
*Mega Latia's Psychic-typing adds three more weaknesses to it. Psychic-typing is great offensively but is worse defensively because of its struggles with dealing with Dark-Type Pokemon and its weakness being quite common. I know Misaka said something along the lines of adding this, but it's covered by your statement about the Dark matchup. I don't think you need to specifically talk about its other additional weaknesses either, considering how uncommon Ghost and Bug STAB is generally.
* Mega Altaria gives Mega Latias competition as a Mega slot as a Dragon Dance user with more immediate power thanks to Pixilate and a typing that aids in matchups like Dark, which Mega Latias cannot excel in. Mega Latias does however always wins against Ditto, unlike Mega Altaria that has to bank on the Ditto being the opposite of Return/ Frustration in terms of Happiness. It also helps with Mew as Calm Mind and its resistance to Psychic helps with double dance Mew, something Mega Altaria cannot do.

[SET]
name: Calm Mind (Dragon)
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Stored Power
move 3: Roost Recover
move 4: Refresh/ Thunderbolt
item: Latiasite
ability: Levitate
nature:Timid
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Reorder this so that Recover (more stylish) is Move 2 and Stored Power is Move 3, then do the same order in the Moves section below.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Calm Mind goes hand-in-hand with Stored Power, increasing increases Mega Latias’ Power and bulk as it sets up to become a powerful sweeper.
*Stored Power is Psychic-type STAB attack withs its good combination with Calm Mind due to how naturally bulky Mega Latias is and how Stored Power works with gaining 40 BP from each Calm Mind. This allows it to beat common walls like Chansey, Cradily, Porygon 2, Rotom-W and Zapdos. (Too many examples)
*RoostRecover helps keeps Mega Latias stay on the field and can heal while it sets up with Calm Mind.
*Refresh is to keep status off of Mega Latias so it can beat walls such as Chansey, Zapdos, and Porygon 2 and Cradily all that usually carry a status move, making it stay alive longer and isn't forced to be swapped out since it can cure itself. This allows Mega Latias to set up with Calm Mind and kill the walls with Stored Power.
*Thunderbolt can be run over Refresh to not be completely walled by Dark-type Pokemon. It also helps with Celesteela and Slowbro, and Scicune. It also helps against common Hazers and Phazers such as Mantine, Toxapex and Skarmory. The downside to running Thunderbolt is that Mega Latias cannot get rid of status and will be put on a timer.

Set Details
========

* Timid is ran with max speedSpeed to outspeed common Pokemon such as Keldeo, Charizard-Y, and CobailonCobalion.
* 252 HP is ran in order to make Mega Latias as bulky as possible to offer Mega Latias more set up opportunities.
* Levitate allows Mega Latias to come in on a Ground-type attacks for free and allows Mega Latias to as long as the Pokemon does not have Mold Breaker or Teravolt. Having Levitate also and allows it not to be Poisoned by Toxic Spikes or hurt by Spikes. It also lets it not be slowed down from Sticky Web. to avoid hazards like Toxic Spikes, Spikes, and Sticky Web.
* Latiasite

Usage Tips
========

* With Mega Latias being a sweeper with Calm Mind and Stored Power, it should set up mid- or late-game when its checks and counters are weakened or KOed. Mention 2 of its checks/counters
* Be wary of Pursuit users like Alolan Muk and Scizor as Pursuit does as they threaten to do a lot of damage leaving Mega latias in range for another Pokemon to KO it.
*Set up Mega Latias up against walls that does not threat it such as Semistoad, Gastrodon, Chansey and Porygon2.
*Mega Latias can set up on any Sspecial attackers that is notdo not carry super effective coverage like Zapdos, Mega Charizard-Y, and Landorus.
*Make sure to keep Mega Latias as healthy as possible with roostingRecover while setting up with Calm Mind and bring it in against Pokemon that Mega Latias resists or if the opponent is locked in to a non-super effective move because of a Choice item.
*Avoid statusToxic if not running Refresh as it cripples Mega Latias and can put it on a timer, preventing it from effectively setting up and sweeping., getting a speed drop and chance not to move since paralyzed or taking damage from Toxic.
*Be careful not to set up on wallbreakers that can 2HKO Mega Latias and that Mega Latias cannot immediately threaten, such as Mega Diancie and Diggersby.
Generally I say to not include tips about double switching unless it's a special condition where it's important for that specific Pokemon. This tip could be written for literally any offense Pokemon, so I don't think it's worth including.

Team Options
========

* Garchomp can aid with Stealth Rock. This allows Focus Sashes to be broken and put damage onchips Pokemon when they switch in. This can limit the number of times a Pokemon can switch in and can weaken it so Mega Latias has an easier time KOing it. Garchomp can also take care of Pokemon such as Mega Diancie when running Focus Sash, which Mega Latias appreciates. It also aids in the Steel matchup thanks toWith Fire Blast and Earthquake, which Mega Latias struggles in., both of these coverage moves helps with the Steel matchup. Dragon Tail can be ran to get rid of set up sweepers such as Gyarados and Gallade.
* Latios is the ideal Choice Scarfer when it comes to Dragon as well as the Defogger to keep hazards off the field. Itas it helps with threats that Mega Latias cannot outspeed and struggle with such as Hydreigon and Balacephalon, and Kyurem-B. It also provides Defog support to keep Stealth Rock off of the field for Mega Latias.
*The main way that Hydreigon supports Mega Latias is by threatening Steel- and Ghost-types that Mega Latias struggles to beat with Fire Blast and Dark Pulse, respectively. Hydreigion's Dark-typing allows it to come in on Ghost and Dark-types which Mega Latias appreciates. Hydregion can also check Steel-Types with Fire Blast. It is a great Special wallbreaker and weakens threats to Mega Latias from the boost from Choice Specs. It can also run Choice Scarf to revenge kill threats such as Blacephalon and Gengar.
* Kyurem-B is a great mixed wallbreaker with Life Orb that can be paired with Latias to help break Water and Flying and takes on Toxapex and Alolan-Muk that Mega Latias can struggle against. Kyurem-B can also run Choice Scarf to help check Mega Altaria in the Dragon mirror.
* Dragonite is another good Physical wallbreaker that can help with its Extreme Speed to kill frail Pokemon such as Greninja. Dragonite's Fire Punch and Superpower and Fire Punch kills Steel- and Dark-type Pokemon such as Stakataka, Heatran, Tyranitar, and Bisharp and Ferrothorn. A bit of a nit pick, but Super Punch hits all of the Pokemon you listed, none of which you'd really click Fire Punch against, so I added Ferrothorn.
* Kommo-o is a great mixed sweeper that can easily take out Dark Pokemon which Mega Latias would have trouble with such as Bisharp, Alolan Muk, and Mega Sharpedo and Tyranitar. Kommo-o also helps with Steel Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Heatran. Kommo-o helps break annoying whirlwind users such as Skarmory. It also helps take on Ice and Normal-Type Pokemon thanks to Kommo-o's Fighting-Typing. This is way too much for what is essentially all one statement. "Kommo-o is a great mixed sweeper that can deal with Steel-, Ice-, and Dark-types like Heatran, Mamoswine, and Alolan Muk that Mega Latias has trouble dealing with."

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Dragon
--------
* Substitute can be ran to shut down any non super special attacks after a Calm Mind boost and avoid Status moves such as Toxic. But be aware Chansey easily breaks the Substitute and can wear down Mega Latias since Substitute takes HP to make the Substitute.
* Ice Beam can be used also over Stored Power to hit Flying-types and opposing dragon Pokemon such as Garchomp and Dragonite if Mutiscale is broken. Ice Beam helps in the Ground matchup with killing Garchomp, Hippowdon and Landorus. The downside of dropping Stored Power causes issues such as Ditto copying Mega Latias and hitting it with Ice Beam, and Chansey walling Mega Latias.

Checks and Counters
===================

Dragon
--------
**Dark-Types** Without Thunderbolt, Mega Latias is completely walled by Dark-types and therefore cannot do anything in the matchup. Even with Thunderbolt it will have a hard time to set up and kill anything since Alolan Muk can come in and force it to switch out.

**Dragon-Types** Physical Dragon-type moves can KO Mega Latias easily from Dragons such as Garchomp and Kyurem-B. Latios has a chance to kill Mega Latias from full if a Calm Mind is not set up and rocks are downwithout a Calm Mind boost.

**Fairy-Types** Mega Latias has a hard time setting up with a Fairy-type around such as Mega Diancie, Choice Specs Tapu Koko and Azumarill easily KOing Mega Latias. This is another nitpick but the way you phrased it sounds like you're saying MLatias cannot setup if those 3 Pokemon are healthy (but not immediately in the field). If that was the case - Specs Koko DGleam cannot 2hko +1 MLatias, and +1MLatias outspeeds and has a 50% chance to OHKO Azu from full if it has tbolt. You can rephrase this to be a little more clear.

**Taunt Users** Taunt easily shuts down Mega Latias and a non-boosted Stored Power is nothing to be afraid of such as Heatran and Tapu Koko.

**Phazers** Phazers such as Skarmory and Hippowdon can take advantage of Mega Latias's poor immediate power to get it off the field before it sets up. Mega Latias also has to watch out for Haze users such as Toxapex and Mantine as it can get rid of its boosts and makes Stored Power useless, but in return Mantine and Toxapex hasthey have to be careful in case Mega Latias is running Thunderbolt.

**Physical Wallbeakers** Strong physical attackers such as Mamoswine, Diggersby, and Mega Scizor can break Mega Latias and are not threatened by its unboosted attacks and can easily kill Mega Latias.

**Pursuit Users** Mega Latias is vulnerable to being Pursuit trapped and taking a lot of damage because of Pursuit doubling in power. If Alolan Muk is alive on Poison, Mega Latias gets walled by Muk and is being risk of being Pursuited if running Refresh and not Thunderbolt. This is also the case with other Pursuit Pokemon like Tyranitar, and Krookodile which would badly damage Mega Latias leaving it in range of another Pokemon on the team. I would personally remove Pursuit from here completely. You really have no reason to send MLatias onto the field where there's an opportunity for a pursuit user to nab it. The only situation where this is applicable is if you switched in to absorb an attack, then when you click roost, they go to a pursuit pokemon, which is extremely situational.
QC 2/3 Very big improvement from your first edits, good job. A lot of my changes were phrasing and such, not too many content edits. In general, you have a bunch of typos and grammatical mistakes, so I tried to fix a bunch of them for it to be a little easier for GP when they come along.

Also, make sure you use the oxford comma (list of 3, all items have a comma: i.e., Toxapex, Mantine, and Swampert not Toxapex, Mantine and Swampert). Double check your writing as well for typos before going into check 3, I'm sure I missed a bunch.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me on discord. After you implement this, please change it into paragraph form, then it'll be ready for check 3.

FYI blue=comments, red=remove, green=add
