[SET COMMENTS]
With its amazing bulk, Roost, and immunity to the common Spikes and Toxic Spikes, Calm Mind Mega Latias is one of the best wincons in the tier. Psyshock is the preferred STAB option as it can hit opposing Calm Mind users and specially bulky Pokemon like Reuniclus, Clefable, Tapu Fini, Blissey, and Slowking as hard as possible. Aura Sphere beats many of the Dark- and Steel-types that resist Psyshock, like Heatran, Mega Tyranitar, Tyranitar, Ferrothorn, and Weavile. Mystical Fire is another solid option, since it hits Steel-types that aren't weak to Fighting like Mega Scizor, Aegislash, Mega Mawile, and Jirachi, but it importantly misses out on Heatran, Mega Tyranitar, and Tyranitar. BoltBeam is another option for the attacking moves, since it has super effective coverage against a majority of the tier, letting Mega Latias check offensive Ground-types like Gliscor, Garchomp, and Landorus-T, while also nailing Pokemon like Tapu Fini, Rillaboom, and Slowking. However, the lack of a STAB move and inability to beat Pokemon like Blissey and Chansey without Psyshock leaves this option as somewhat niche.

Mega Latias appreciates teammates that help it sweep such as entry hazard setters like Clefable, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, Landorus-T, Heatran, and Toxapex, Toxapex deserves a special mention, as Toxic Spikes allows Mega Latias to outlast Pokemon like Tyranitar, Tapu Lele, and Ash-Greninja that could otherwise pose an issue; this also frees up its coverage moveslot for something like Refresh for better longevity. Pokemon that can threaten Steel-types, like Magnezone, Heatran, Skarmory, Gliscor, and Volcarona, make for valuable teammates. Lastly, status removers and absorbers like Blissey, Chansey, Clefable, and Gliscor help Mega Latias avoid being crippled and losing effectiveness.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Stored Power is an option to sweep teams more easily, as it's a very powerful STAB move once Mega Latias has fully boosted up, and is commonly used as the only attacking move so Mega Latias can use a utility move like Refresh to clear status or Reflect Type to beat Pokemon like Heatran, Mega Mawile, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. However, only attacking with Stored Power lets Dark-types fully stop your progress, meaning Toxic Spikes support is a requirement; this set also needs multiple boosts to hit hard. Defog sets have a niche because of Mega Latias' great movepool allowing it to beat all of the Stealth Rock users in the tier while generally having a strong;- albeit somewhat passive;- defensive presence. This set cannot beat every Stealth Rock user in one set, but it's customizable on a team-by-team basis.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Phazers and Status*: Pokemon like Phyiscally Defensive Toxapex, Blissey, Hippowdon, Skarmory, Clefable, and Melmetal can stop Mega Latias from sweeping with Haze, phazing, Toxic, or paralysis that makes it prone for revenge killing.

**Steel-types**: Mega Latias can't cover all Steel-types with one set. Aegislash, Mega Scizor, and Jirachi are solid checks to the Aura Sphere variant; meanwhile Heatran will completely wall the Mystical Fire set. Mega Mawile is also very good at revenge killing Mega Latias with either Sucker Punch or Play Rough.

**Pursuit**: Pokemon like Weavile, Mega Tyranitar, and Tyranitar can Pursuit trap Mega Latias if it is weak enough and they get a safe switch in; however, if Mega Latias is somewhat healthy, it can take a Pursuit and recover up with Roost or threaten a KO with Aura Sphere.

With its amazing bulk, defensive typing, and movepool, Mega Latias is one of the best win conditions in the tier. Calm Mind allows it to boost its Special Defense and Special Attack so it can pose a threat to opposing teams while being harder to knock out. Psyshock is the preferred STAB option as it can hit Opposing Calm Mind users and Specially bulky Pokemon like Reuniclus, Clefable, Tapu Fini, Blissey, and Slowking as hard as possible. Aura Sphere is used for a coverage move as it can beat many of the Dark- and Steel-types that resist Latias' STAB moves, Heatran, Mega Tyranitar, Ferrothorn, and Weavile are some notable Pokemon that Aura Sphere allows Latias to hit, Mystical Fire is another solid option for a coverage move since it hits Steel-types that aren't weak to fighting like Mega Scizor, Aegislash, Mega Mawile, and Jirachi, but it misses out on some important Pokemon in Heatran and Mega Scizor this is the biggest target of this set. BoltBeam is another option for the attacking moves since it has Super Effective coverage against a lot of Pokemon that would need a lot of Boosts for Psyshock to KO like Gliscor, Tapu Fini, Garchomp, and Corviknight, However lack of a STAB move and inability to beat Pokemon like Blissey and Chansey without Psyshock leaves this option as somewhat niche.

Latias appreciates having teammates to support it sweeping such as Hazard setters like Clefable, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, Landorus-T, Heatran, and Toxapex, Toxapex deserves a special mention as Toxic Spikes allows Latias to outlast Pokemon like Tyranitar, Slowking, Tapu Lele, and Ash-Greninja that could otherwise pose an issue. Pokemon that can threaten Steel-types and improve Latias' chance of sweeping like Magnezone, Heatran, Skarmory, Hippowdon, and Volcarona make for valuable teammates. Lastly, Status removers and absorbers like Blissey, Chansey, Clefable, and Gliscor make for good teammates as they are able to cure or switch into the status moves that can cripple Latias

Stored Power is an option that can be used to sweep teams easier as its a very powerful STAB move once Latias has fully boosted up, and is commonly used as the only attacking move so Latias can use utility moves like Refresh to clear Status or Reflect Type to beat Pokemon like Heatran, Mega Mawile, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, however only using Psychic-type moves can be a hindrance when running into Dark-types as they fully stop you from being able to make any progress at all, meaning Toxic Spikes are a requirement on this set. Defog sets have a niche because of its great movepool allowing it to beat a lot all of the rockers in the tier such as Garchomp, Landorus-T, and Heatran while generally having a strong defensive presence, however, this set cannot beat every rocker in 1 set, however is customizable on a team-by-team basis. suffers heavily from 4 moveslot syndrome as it cannot run all the coverage it wants.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Phazers and Status*: Pokemon like Physically defensive Toxapex, Blissey, Hippowdon, Skarmory, Clefable, and Melmetal can stop Latias from sweeping by either hazing away its boosts, phasing it out so its boosts get reset, or statusing it to severely limit its longevity or making it prone for revenge killing.

**Steel-types**: There's always gonna be a Steel-type that beats Latias no matter what coverage it uses, Aegislash, Mega Scizor, and Jirachi are solid checks to the Aura Sphere variant meanwhile Heatran will completely wall the Mystical Fire set. Mega Mawile is also very good at revenge killing Latias with either Sucker Punch or Play rough.

**Pursuit** Trappers like Weavile and both Tyranitar Formes are very good checks to Latias as if they can get switched in safely while it's low enough, they can Pursuit it to prevent it from switching out and setting up again, however, if Latias is somewhat healthy it can eat a Pursuit and Roost up or threaten a KO with Aura Sphere.

With its amazing bulk, defensive typing, and movepool, Mega Latias is one of the best win conditions in the tier it's worth mentioning the amazing ability, being immune to Spikes / TSpikes is absolutely huge for helping it get setup opportunities. Calm Mind allows it to boost its Special Defense and Special Attack so it can pose a threat to opposing teams while being harder to knock out. Psyshock is the preferred STAB option as it can hit Oopposing Calm Mind users and Specially bulky Pokemon like Reuniclus, Clefable, Tapu Fini, Blissey, and Slowking as hard as possible. Aura Sphere is used for a coverage move as it can beat many of the Dark- and Steel-types that resist Latias' STAB moves, Heatran, Mega Tyranitar, Ferrothorn, and Weavile are some notable Pokemon that Aura Sphere allows Latias to hit, Mystical Fire is another solid option for a coverage move since it hits Steel-types that arent weak to fighting like Mega Scizor, Aegislash, Mega Mawile, and Jirachi, but it misses out on an important Pokemon in Heatran mention ttar forms here because they are the most important targets of Aura Sphere in my eyes . BoltBeam is another option for the attacking moves since it has Super Effective coverage against a lot of Pokemon that would need a lot of Boosts for Psyshock to KO like Gliscor, Tapu Fini, Garchomp, and Corviknight, However lack of a STAB move and inability to beat Pokemon like Blissey and Chansey without Psyshock leaves this option as somewhat niche. you should emphasize how BoltBeam actually allows Mega Latias to act as offensive Ground-type check, since the standard set doesn't really check stuff like SD Landorus-T and Garchomp that well at all.

Pokemon that can threaten Steel-types and improve Latias' chance of sweeping like Magnezone, Heatran, Skarmory, Hippowdon, and Volcarona make for valuable teammates i feel there are better mentions than Hippowdon here, like Gliscor or Garchomp, since there are Steel-types that Hippowdon can't even touch. . Lastly, Status removers and absorbers like Blissey, Chansey, Clefable, and Gliscor make for good teammates as they are able to cure or switch into the status moves that can cripple Latias and severly limit its effectiveness.

With its amazing bulk, defensive typing, and movepool, Roost, (defensive typing doesnt feel that important/great, but if specific applicability that makes it deserve mention, lmk) and immunity to the common Spikes and Toxic Spikes, Calm Mind Mega Latias is one of the best win conditions wincons in the tier. Calm Mind allows it to boost its Special Defense and Special Attack so it can pose a threat to opposing teams while being harder to knock out. Aura Sphere is used for a coverage move as it can beat beats many of the Dark- and Steel-types that resist Latias' STAB moves, Psyshock, like Heatran, Mega Tyranitar, Tyranitar, Ferrothorn, and Weavile. (added period) are some notable Pokemon that Aura Sphere allows Latias to hit, Mystical Fire is another solid option, (AC) for a coverage move since it hits Steel-types that aren't (added apostrophe) weak to Fighting like Mega Scizor, Aegislash, Mega Mawile, and Jirachi, but it importantly misses out on an important pair of Pokemon in Heatran and both formes of Tyranitar Heatran, Mega Tyranitar, and Tyranitar. BoltBeam is another option for the attacking moves, (AC) since it has super effective coverage against a majority of the tier, (AC) and acts as a check to the offensive Ground-types of the tier, letting Mega Latias check offensive Ground-types like Gliscor, Garchomp, and Landorus-T (RC) while also super effectively hitting nailing Pokemon like Tapu Fini, Rillaboom, and Slowking. However, (AC) the lack of a STAB move and inability to beat Pokemon like Blissey and Chansey without Psyshock leaves this option as somewhat niche.

Mega Latias appreciates having teammates to support it sweeping teammates that help it sweep such as entry hazard setters like Clefable, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, Landorus-T, Heatran, and Toxapex. (period -> comma) Toxapex deserves a special mention, (AC) as Toxic Spikes allows Mega Latias to outlast Pokemon like Tyranitar, Tapu Lele, and Ash-Greninja that could otherwise pose an issue; (comma -> semicolon) this also frees up its coverage moveslot for it to run something like Refresh for better longevity. Lastly, status removers and absorbers like Blissey, Chansey, Clefable, and Gliscor make for good teammates as they are able to cure or switch into the status moves that can cripple Latias and severely limit its effectiveness help Mega Latias avoid being crippled and losing effectiveness.

**Phazers and Status*: Pokemon like Physically defensive (either "specially defensive" if you meant specially defensive, or just delete and add nothing if you meant both physically and specially defensive Toxapex) Toxapex, Blissey, Hippowdon, Skarmory, Clefable, and Melmetal can stop Mega Latias from sweeping by either hazing away its boosts, phasing it out so its boosts get reset, or statusing it to severely limit its longevity or making with Haze, phazing, Toxic, or paralysis that makes (I imagine toxic and para are in fact the two to most care about?) it prone for revenge killing.
