Lopunny-Mega @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Close Combat
- Return
- U-turn

Mega Lopunny was blessed by the Isle of Armor DLC with the addition of U-turn and Close Combat to its movepool, turning it into an even more consistent Pokemon. With excellent Speed, great Attack, and an unresisted STAB combination thanks to Scrappy, it is a force to be reckoned with. Fake Out provides strong chip damage and can pick off setup sweepers, such as boosted Volcarona or Dragapult. If it encounters a physical wall, such as Clefable, Slowbro, or Rocky Helmet Tangrowth, it can utilize U-turn to bring in a Pokemon that can better take advantage of these roadblocks. Mega Lopunny is relatively frail, so it would prefer to get in through a slow pivot from a Pokemon like Slowbro or Rotom-H. Wallbreakers that can take advantage of the physical walls that Lopunny draws in, such as Kyurem, Heatran, Hydreigon, and the aforementioned Rotom-H, make excellent teammates as well.

Mega Lopunny was blessed by the Isle of Armor DLC with the addition of U-turn and Close Combat to its movepool, turning it into a truly elite Pokemon. -I think the wording is off here. Mega Lopunny was a 'truly elite Pokémon' before these additions already, so I don't think that sends the right message. I would put it as turning it into an even more consistent Pokémon than it already was- With excellent Speed, great Attack, and an unresisted STAB combination thanks to Scrappy, it is a force to be reckoned with. Fake Out provides strong chip damage on in general and can pick off setup sweepers, such as boosted Volcarona or Dragapult. If it encounters a physical wall, such as Clefable, Zapdos, Slowbro, or Rocky Helmet Tangrowth, it can U-turn out to Pokemon like Kyurem, Hydreigon, or Rotom-H -it makes more sense to mention these in the end as teammates- that can manage take advantage of these roadblocks. -again, it can be worded more accurately, as the implication now is that Mega Lopunny uses U-turn once these Pokémon are already in battle, whereas in reality it will U-turn as they switch in. Zapdos is left off since you really don't want to risk a Static paralysis by using U-turn on it- Quick Attack can also be run over U-turn to secure matchups against offense. -largely irrelevant in the current metagame- Mega Lopunny is extremely frail, so it would prefer to get in through a slow pivot from Pokemon like Slowbro or Hydreigon -Hydreigon cannot slow-pivot, and Choice Scarf sets aren't that good anymore anyway; Rotom-H would make more sense. Besides that, I think it's a little of an overstatement to call Mega Lopunny 'extremely' frail-. These two are helpful in drawing the Steel- and Dark-types that Mega Lopunny can take advantage of. -Not very necessary information to add in my opinion, and the quality isn't exclusive to them anyway. What would be important to mention as teammates are the aforementioned wallbreakers in Kyurem, Hydreigon, and Rotom-H (personally would add Heatran to the list)-
fairly good job
