ORAS OU Mega Lopunny Volt-Turn Balanced Team (Currently 1400+)

OK, so this is my 1st RMT, so let's go straight into it

Lola (Lopunny) (F) @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Return
- Fake Out
- Ice Punch

Of course, we have the headliner of this team: Mega Lopunny! I think that she has great typing, speed (speed tie with M-Manectric), and attack power. Her unresisted STAB makes her hit most opponents hard. With High Jump Kick added to her move pool, it only makes her more of a threat! Asssuming i can get HJK to hit, I can OHKO sableye, which is awesome!

RotomWashFormXousFINAL.png

Kenmore (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 208 Def / 4 SpA / 44 Spe
IV's: 0 Atk
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split

OK, so after I decided on M-Lop, I though: "What are the threats to her?" Birdspam, and Fairy-types like Clefable and Azu. So I decided on Rotom and Heatran. Rotom-W is defensive, so It can check azu, and take hits from talonflame. I'm running the same ol' set: Volt, Pump, Wisp, and Pain Split. With Landorus and Scizor, I can really keep up the offensive momentum and pressure my opponent

Heatran.jpg

Magma Gazer (Heatran) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 216 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt > Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Toxic
- Lava Plume

-OK, so I wanted more protection for the precious M-Lop, so I decided to go with heatran. Surprisingly, Heatran is NOT my stealth rocker. I decided to run taunt, toxic, protect, and plume. Clefable can still set up on my team with the pkmn I chose so far, so I needed taunt so i can beat Clefable 1v1 as well as preventing chansey from passing wishes and stalling. Taunt will also stop CroBro in its tracks. Protect is more to scout what my opponent wants to use, of course. I can also see what Lando-T locks itself into if it's the Choice Scarf Variant. I have toxic to help against the SpDef talonflame and take hits
After taking advice from Vinc608, I decided to put Heatran back as my stealth rocker. That will free Lando-T to be my choice scarf revenge killer. I need to keep scizor alive to check clefable now that I cannot prevent it from setting up with Taunt.

Red Bullet (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit

-Now I need some strong physical attacker to really lay down some damage. So I chose Scizor. So scizor is choice banded, and bulky, so it can take hits and deal damage. Scizor can also take hits from the lati twins, assuming they aren't running HP fire. Its got Pursiut to hit them hard on exit. It also works well with the volt-switching rotom, so I may keep offensive momentum and pressure. I thought Banded D-Nite would work but that gives me another fairy weakness, which is counterproductive in a M-Lop team. Scizor is also extremely important for dealing with Greninja. No move Ninja has can OHKO scizor, and U-turn and BP can damage it.

-Now I need a stealth rocker. I decided with landorus-t bc I believe it's one of the best rockers in the OU tier

Cloud Nine (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 104 HP / 252 Def / 152 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Landorus is the best rocker I think. Its been my experience that many people lead off with scarf-lando, so heatran wouldn't be able to get rocks up. So I decided on the defensive landorus set, so it can most likely take a hit from landorus-scarf and be able to set up rocks early in the match. It also has u-turn, so it has great synergy with rotom and scizor, bc they both take Ice Attacks. Rotom-W can also take water attacks. I might switch out Stone Edge for Knock off, but we will see. Beedrill is also checked with this set, as it can OHKO beedrill and take little damage from Poison Jab and U-turn
Once again, after taking Vinc608's advice, I decided to change Landorus from a defensive variant to the Choice Scarf variant. With this set, Mega-Gyarados no longer poses much of a threat. I outspeed M-Beedrill and can check it without a problem. In addition, I can OHKO the new Hasty Greninja set that is running around in ORAS: 252 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4- Def Greninja: 273-322 (95.7 - 112.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

-Lastly, I realized that specs Keldo can do work on my team and Zard-Y can as well, so I needed something to check it, and beat it 1v1. So I decided on Latios

Latios_Normal_Coloration_by_Xous54.png

Jetliner (Latios) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Roost

As Previously stated, Latios can take hits from Keldeo (scarf-keldeo is becoming more and more ubiquitous) as well as check megazard-Y and X. I am running the standard Defog/Life Orb set. I needed a defogger on my team. No one wants to take 12% on entry, and each of my mons except Lop will be doing that. I also believe Lati is the best defogger in OU. O IV's so I can take less confusion damage and Foul Play damage.

Sugimori_Latias_by_purplekecleon.png

Red Eye (Latias) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Healing Wish
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog

After taking the advice of s0me1 b0red, I decided to change latios to Latias! With this spread I can take 1 Ice beam from Greninja at full health and OHKO with D-Meteor. Also, with Healing wish I can revive my win condition (Lopunny or Lando most likely) and take my opponent down late-game. I gave it the standard 0 attack IV's to decrease foul play damage and confusion.

So there you have it

Lola (Lopunny) (F) @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Return
- Fake Out
- Ice Punch

- Pain Split

- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Greninja is a huge threat IF lopunny is gone, Heatran can take only 1 hit and rotom can take 2 IF it's not running grass moves. My plan for greninja in team preview is to set up rocks ASAP and try to keep Lopunny alive. A fakeout + return/HJK is enough to take it out. With my new choice scarf landorus, I can check greninja and even OHKO it after rocks

254MS.png
Mega Sceptile is a big threat. My plan is to toxic stall it with heatran and try to beat it with scizor. If possible, I can try to mega evolve with M-lop and use ice punch, but it's VERY unlikely. My best option really, is to hit it with Bullet Punch with Scizor. Or U-turn works even better, as it can OHKO: 252+ Atk Choice Band Scizor U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Sceptile: 476-564 (169.3 - 200.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO. With my new Landorus, I can revenge kill it, but it still poses a threat, albeit a smaller one

642.png
HP Ice Thundurus with Superpower and Nasty Plot Poses a big thread to my team. It can paralyze M-Lop and OHKO my Landorus. I have Heatran that can take a superpower or THunderbolt if it doesnt set up too much. My best bet is stone edge with lando, hoping I hit. Lopunnt can 1v1 w/o parahax. If paralysis is an issue, I still have Healing wish on Latias to remove it late-game

Hi! I'm on my phone, so please bear with me.
Please Make sure to read the RMT Rules before making a post. You new a brief 3-4 sentences describing each of your Pokemon.

Run Knock Off instead of pursuit on scizor.
Instead of Defog of Latios, run Thunderbolt/surf.
Make sure to run 0 IVs on each of you special Pokemon, you take less from Confusion and Foul Play.

Hope it helps.

Nice team !
1)Your Team really needs a revenge killer for Sceptile-Mega, this is why I suggest Landorus-T Scarf over your current set. I choosed Superpower > Knock Off because Gyarados-Mega completely destroys your team. Knock Off is for Gengar, but with Scizor with Pursuit that's fine.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 24 Def / 232 Spe
Jolly Nature

- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Superpower

2)Every Team needs SR, so Stealth Rock > Taunt. Ok, you can't use Taunt against Slowbro-Mega CM anyway, but you have a lot of decent switch-in against this, Scizor Band (ok it hates Scald burns but you have to prey no burns / set up CM), Rotom-W, Latios.
Heatran) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 216 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Toxic
- Lava Plume

Good luck !

This RMT is old as hell, but you know

If you are still using this team maybe consider power up punch over ice punch, a +1 return destroyed a good portion of the tier anyways
