Mega Scizor (QC 0/1)

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 116 Def / 100 SpD
Impish Nature
- Curse
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Roost

Mega Scizor's amazing defensive typing, great stats, a good movepool, and reliable recovery, all make it a solid overall defensive pokemon in the Ubers tier. What sets Scizor apart from other Steel types in the tier is access to priority, as well as access to U-turn, allowing it to bait in Scizor's answers and then pivot on them into an answer of your own, which gains momentum.

The description misses the point of using Scizor entirely and I think lacks understanding of its place in the meta. Many of the points noted apply to any common Steel in Ubers which means its strengths are not being highlighted at all.

It's an alternative to Magearna for bulky offense teams that offers momentum generation alongside their more secure Xern check. In Scizor's case, it has U-turn (not blocked by Grounds unlike Mag's Volt Switch, big for getting mons like Kyogre in) and a priority attack, meaning it gets the hit in and overcomes the low Speed - Magearna/Dusk can't do this.

It's also an alternative to using SpD Dusk - you trade SR and bulk in exchange for priority and U-turn momentum gains.

Scizor needs specific partners to take advantage of the perks it has over the bulkier steels, it's not a case of just listing mons that it beats or beat it. Primal Kyogre is the biggest partner to note. Ultra Necrozma can be used because Scizor is covering some Steel roles in its place.

Typical Scizor build is something like Primal Groudon / Ultra Necrozma / Mega Scizor / Primal Kyogre / Arceus-Fairy / Yveltal.

Give this another think over and see what you can come up with while sticking to the character limit - I would personally rework the angles this looks at Scizor from.
