Pros:

+ Incredibly high attacking stats

Cons:
- Frail. Typing kind of sucks defensively, too.
- Low speed
- Shallow movepool
- Takes up a mega slot

Potential Sets:

SubSeed

Scovillain @ Scovillainite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain / Protect

An attempt to get the most out of Spicy Spray. Not sure how effective this would actually be, since a Leech Seed nerf... technically exists?

EDIT: Leech Seed was not nerfed. Still not entirely sure how effective this will be, but for entirely unrelated reasons.

Physical Attacker
Scovillain @ Scovillainite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Seed Bomb / Trailblaze
- Stomping Tantrum
- Crunch

This set focuses on Scovillain's physical attacking prowess. The main benefit here is that all of Scovillain's coverage options are physical, allowing it to hit targets special sets may otherwise struggle with. Of the two highlighted here, Stomping Tantrum is a more general-purpose option against Fire-types, while Crunch is Scovillain's strongest option against Mega Delphox, Ceruledge, Dragapult, and Mega Chandelure.

Special Attacker
Scovillain @ Scovillainite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Flamethrower / Growth
- Giga Drain
- Substitute / Growth

Special attacking set. Flamethrower is here mostly because Scovillain really doesn't have that many options.

Teammates:
:incineroar::corviknight::slowking-galar:: Slow pivots help Mega Scovillain get in safely.
:hatterene::excadrill::torkoal:: Mega Scovillain is frail and weak to Stealth Rock, so good hazard control is a must.
:samurott-hisui::glimmora::garchomp:: Entry hazards on the opponent's side help Mega Scovillain achieve KOs it may otherwise miss.
:ninetales::torkoal:: While it does lose Chlorophyll upon Mega-Evolving, Mega Scovillain still appreciates the damage boost from Sun.
:primarina::hatterene::azumarill:: Mega Scovillain struggles against Fire- and Dragon-types, and needs teammates to deal with them.
:jolteon::espathra::scizor:: Sweepers, particularly ones that need Grass-types, Steel-types, and/or Ground-types removed, can continue where Mega Scovillain left off when it's done wallbreaking.

Checks and Counters:
:delphox-mega::ceruledge::charizard-mega-x:: Fire-types resist Mega Scovillain's STAB combination, and it has limited options for dealing with that. Some may have to worry about getting sniped by a coverage move, though.
:dragonite::hydreigon::dragapult:: Dragon-types also resist both of Mega Scovillain's STABs, and it has even less options for those.
:gengar-mega::sneasler::garchomp:: Being both frail and slow, Mega Scovillain is incredibly susceptible to being revenge-killed or out-offensed.
:toxapex:: Since it's a Water-type that's not weak to Grass, and bulky enough that super-effective coverage like Stomping Tantrum or Zen Headbutt don't even 2HKO without boosts, Toxapex could prove troublesome.
