Mega Swampert is a staple on rain teams thanks to its great typing and Swift Swim allowing it to outspeed a majority of the metagame. Its immunity to Electric-type moves is greatly appreciated for rain teams, which can struggle with common Electric-types in the tier such as Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko. Flip Turn allows it to maintain momentum against checks like Rotom-W and Alomomola while wearing them down. Ice Punch hits Pokemon such as Dragonite, Serperior, and Mega Latias that would check Mega Swampert otherwise. Alternatively, Stealth Rock can be used to take advantage of forced switches on Pokemon such as Garganacl and Galarian Slowking, as well as free up a slot for a teammate like Ferrothorn to run Spikes over Stealth Rock. Superpower is another option, which hits checks such as Kartana, Ferrothorn, and Ogerpon-W. As the premier rain setter in the tier, Pelipper is a mandatory teammate for Mega Swampert, being able to grant it free switches with its ability to act as a slow pivot with U-turn. Ferrothorn is another especially good teammate for Mega Swampert for its ability to switch into the defensive Water-types Mega Swampert has trouble dealing with such as Alomomola, Slowbro, and Rotom-W as well as Ogerpon-W lacking Superpower, and it can also make progress by setting hazards and forcing switches against these foes. Ferrothorn is also able to remove items like Rocky Helmet from Pokemon such as Skarmory, letting Mega Swampert attack more freely, and Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon such as Zapdos and Alomomola, making them more easily worn down by hazards. Mega Swampert can also struggle against Grass-types such as Kartana and Rillaboom, which makes Pokemon like Zapdos and Tornadus-T great teammates for their ability to check the aforementioned Pokemon. Mega Swampert also appreciates other Swift Swim users such as Barraskewda as teammates, being able to wear down each others' shared checks such as Ferrothorn and Rotom-W. Archaludon is a good partner, being able to check Grass- and Water-types Mega Swampert has trouble with such as Alomomola, Ogerpon-W, and Serperior. In return, Mega Swampert threatens Ground-types that Archaludon struggles with like Landorus-T and Gliscor.

- Ice Punch / Stealth Rock / Superpower I think the order should be changed here; instead change it to Superpower / Stealth Rock / Ice Punch because superpower hits more important targets like Ferro, kart and wellspring to an extent.

Mega Swampert is a staple on rain teams thanks to Swift Swim allowing it to outspeed a majority of the metagame as well as its typing. Its immunity to Electric-type moves is greatly appreciated for rain teams which can struggle with common Electric-types in the tier such as Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko. Flip Turn allows it to maintain momentum against checks like Rotom-W and Ferrothorn Alomomola the reason why I don’t think Ferro should be mentioned in the flip turn section is because you take chip from iron barbs when you pivot on it and idt that’s good while wearing them down. Ice Punch hits Pokemon such as Dragonite, Serperior, and Mega Latios Mega Latias changing this works because although Mtios is good against rain mtias is probably the better mon to mention that would check Mega Swampert otherwise. Alternatively, Stealth Rock can be used to take advantage of forced switches on Pokemon such as Garganacl and Slowking-Galar, as well as freeing up a slot for a teammate like Ferrothorn to run Spikes over Stealth Rock. Superpower is another option, letting you which hits iirc “you” isn’t supposed to be in an analysis checks such as Kartana, Ferrothorn, and Ogerpon-Wellspring it’s Ogerpon-W for future reference. As the premier rain setter in the tier, Pelipper is a mandatory teammate for Mega Swampert, being able to grant it free switches with its ability to act as a slow pivot with U-turn. Ferrothorn is another especially good teammate for Mega Swampert for its ability to switch into and make progress against check the Water-types Mega Swampert has trouble dealing with such as Alomomola, Slowbro, and Rotom-W, as well as being a solid check to Ogerpon-Wellspring Mention here how Ferro can knock off boots for mswamp’s stealth rock and rocky helmets from mons like Skarmory, however you choose to implement that. Mega Swampert can also struggle against Grass-types such as Kartana, Mega Venusaur Mvenu has its recovery nerfed in rain so it’s easy to wear down and is very likely 2hkod after rocks by mswamp eq; also Mvenu isn’t the most viable of mons so it shouldn’t be used as an example in future analyses, and Rillaboom which makes Pokemon like Zapdos and Tornadus-T great teammates for their ability to check the aforementioned Pokemon. Mega Swampert also appreciates other Swift Swim users such as Barraskewda as teammates, being able to wear down each others shared checks such as Slowbro Ferrothorn surely Slowbro isn’t that relevant to mention twice and barely mention Ferro whatsoever and Rotom-W. Archaludon is a good partner, being able to check Grass- and Water-types Mega Swampert has trouble with such as Alomomola, Ogerpon-W, and Serperior. In return, Mega Swampert deals with Ground-types that Archaludon struggles with like Landorus-T and Gliscor. Archaludon is pretty decent on rain, so it’s worthy to mention + has some good synergy with mswamp as told above Raging Bolt is another good teammate, as it helps against Grass-types that check Mega Swampert like Ogerpon-W and Kartana.

In return, Mega Swampert deals with threatens minor thing but they prolly arent staying on ur mpert which i think this current wording could be be misinterpreted as for reader Ground-types that Archaludon struggles with like Landorus-T and Gliscor.

Mega Swampert is a staple on rain teams thanks to Swift Swim allowing it to outspeed a majority of the metagame as well as its typing idk if its just me or does it sound like swift swim lets it outspeed its typing, u can swap the order of those two if uw, subjective change so i dont want to edit it directly. Its immunity to Electric-type moves is greatly appreciated for rain teams, (AC) which can struggle with common Electric-types in the tier such as Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko. Flip Turn allows it to maintain momentum against checks like Rotom-W and Alomomola while wearing them down. Ice Punch hits Pokemon such as Dragonite, Serperior, and Mega Latias that would check Mega Swampert otherwise. Alternatively, Stealth Rock can be used to take advantage of forced switches on Pokemon such as Garganacl and Slowking-Galar Galarian Slowking, as well as freeing up a slot for a teammate like Ferrothorn to run Spikes over Stealth Rock. Ferrothorn is another especially good teammate for Mega Swampert for its ability to switch into and make progress by setting hazards and forcing switches against the defensive Water-types Mega Swampert has trouble dealing with such as Alomomola, Slowbro, and Rotom-W, (RC) as well as being a solid check to Ogerpon-W lacking Superpower, and it can also make progress by setting hazards and forcing switches against these foes rearranged because mega confusing, kinda lumped pon with the bulky waters so if thats wrong just DM me. Ferrothorn is also able to remove items like Rocky Helmet from Pokemon such as Skarmory, letting Mega Swampert attack more freely, and Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon such as Zapdos and Alomomola, making them more easily worn down by Mega Swampert's wont always be him Stealth Rock. Mega Swampert can also struggle against Grass-types such as Kartana and Rillaboom, (AC) which makes Pokemon like Zapdos and Tornadus-T great teammates for their ability to check the aforementioned Pokemon. Mega Swampert also appreciates other Swift Swim users such as Barraskewda as teammates, being able to wear down each others' apostrophe shared checks such as Ferrothorn and Rotom-W.
