Not open for further replies.
Crustle (Crustlite)
Type: Rock/Bug -> Rock/Bug
Abilities: Sturdy, Shell Armor (Weak Armor) -> Water Absorb
New Moves: Sticky Web, Infestation

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 95 -> 110 (+15)
Def: 125 -> 150 (+25)
SpA: 65 -> 65
SpD: 75 -> 120 (+45)
Spe: 45 -> 60 (+15)
BST: 475 -> 575

Mega Crustle can fill many roles. Sweep with Shell Smash, lay entry hazards, or just generally tank. It doesn't have many resistances, but it has fewer weaknesses.

Scrafty (Scraftite)
Type: Dark/Fighting -> Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Shed Skin, Moxie (Intimidate) -> Shed Skin
New Moves: Slack Off

HP: 65 -> 65
Atk: 90 -> 120 (+30)
Def: 115 -> 140 (+25)
SpA: 45 -> 45
SpD: 115 -> 140 (+25)
Spe: 58 -> 78 (+20)
BST: 488 -> 588

Scrafty is now a wall thanks to is new reliable recovery, boosted defenses and Shed Skin automatically curing status. Improved Speed and Attack allow it to sweep with Dragon Dance and great coverage just with its STABs.

Sigilyph (Sigilyphite)
Type: Psychic/Flying -> Psychic/Flying
Abilities: Wonder Skin, Magic Guard (Tinted Lens) -> Magic Guard
New Moves: Focus Blast, U-turn

HP: 72 -> 72
Atk: 58 -> 58
Def: 80 -> 110 (+30)
SpA: 103 -> 143 (+40)
SpD: 80 -> 100 (+20)
Spe: 97 -> 107 (+10)
BST: 490 -> 590

It's Sigilyph, but more offensive than defensive.

Cofagrigus (Cofagrigite)
Type: Ghost -> Ghost/Steel
Abilities: Mummy -> Mummy
New Moves: Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt

HP: 58 -> 58
Atk: 50 -> 50
Def: 145 -> 165 (+20)
SpA: 95 -> 145 (+50)
SpD: 105 -> 135 (+30)
Spe: 30 -> 30
BST: 483 -> 583

Cofagrigus is even bulkier and has a ton more resistances.

Mega Crustle
Typing: Bug/Rock ----> Bug/Rock
Abilities: Sturdy/Shell Armor/Weak Armor ----> Castle Moat (wielder gains ½ resistance to Fire, Water, Ice and Steel moves.)
BST: 70/95/125/65/75/45 ----> 70/125/175/65/105/35
New Moves: Waterfall, Leaf Blade

After Mega-evolving, Mega Crustle now come with a Moat, and gained the resistance of a Water type. This hermit crab in a castle can now comfortably avoid a 2HKO from CB Talonflame, +1 Mega Gyarados and unboosted Mega Charizard X. With the ability, it is also only weak to Rock-type moves, but even then its massive physical bulk helps. The lack of resistance other than Normal, Fire, Ice and Poison might hurt though, and the reduced speed means a Shell Smash set will not be as viable.

Mega Scrafty
Typing: Dark/Fighting ----> Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Shed Skin/Moxie/Intimidate ----> Scavenger (If the opponent uses a non-attacking move as the wielder mega-evolves or switches in, the wielder uses the move instead.)
BST: 65/90/115/45/115/58 ----> 65/135/105/55/115/103
New Moves: Bullet Punch

The concept is simple; Mega Scrafty's hood turns into a bag, which it uses to snatch the move from its opponents. This means Mega Scrafty can switch into a myriad of set-up sweepers or utility pokemons, and have them hoist by their own petard. Don't be stupid and switch into Belly Drum Azumarill though.
Despite the increased Atk and Speed, Mega Scrafty's offense is still fairly tame by Mega standard, while the massive Fairy weakness and Def drop hurts its bulk. Not to mention that the opponents can play around this, as there's not much reason to use Scrafty other than its Mega.

Mega Sigilyph
Typing: Psychic/Flying ----> Psychic/Flying
Abilities: Wonder Skin/Magic Guard/Tinted Lens ----> Time Dilation (all moves have a priority of +0 when the user is on stage. Pseudo-Hazing moves are exception to this.)
BST: 72/58/80/103/80/97 ----> 72/58/90/154/95/121
New Moves: Aura Sphere, Nasty Plot

Yes, I added that part on the ability description simply because otherwise Mega Sigilyph is going to be broken with Whirlwind.
No more Sucker Punches for you. Mega Sigilyph basically wrecks priority moves, which makes it hard to revenge kill it. Sucker Punch users such as Bisharp and Mega Mawile can no longer kill Mega Sigilyph first as it faints them with Aura Sphere and +2 Heat Wave, and not even Aegislash can live an unboosted Heat Wave were it to try and use any attacking moves, as Stance Change still happens at the start of the turn. Unless you're fast enough, even Protect couldn't save you. This also makes Sigilyph able to switch out against Pursuit users that didn't reach its speed.

Mega Cofagrigus
Typing: Ghost ----> Ghost/Steel
Abilities: Mummy ----> Mummy Plague (The opponent’s ability is changed to Mummy if it attacks the wielder.)
BST: 58/50/145/95/105/30 ----> 58/70/135/145/130/45
New Moves: Earth Power, Flash Cannon

Mega Cofagrigus got slightly frailer physically, yes, but now it can spread the curse even if you're not using physical moves. This means even more pokemons that relies on abilities such as Brute Force, Tinted Lens, Sheer Force and such are screwed over by the mega, and its boosted Sp.Atk made sure it wouldn't lack offensive presence. Earth Power and Flash Cannon both adds to its special movepool, but the lack of recovery still hurts its longevity.

250px-563Cofagrigus.png

Ghost ----> Ghost/Rock

Mummy ----> Cursed Body

58/50/145/95/105/30 ----> 58/60/155/120/155/45 (--/--/+10/+25/+50/+15)

New Moves: Aura Sphere

Mega Cofagrigus can take on a defensive role using its improved defensive stats and new ability Cursed Body, or become a bulky attacker with its increased Special Attack and new move. Cursed Body can cripple any attacker that has only one super-effective move against Mega Cofagrigus, while Aura Sphere gives it better coverage.

Mega Crustle
Type: Bug/Rock -> Bug/Rock
Ability: Sturdy/ShellArmor/WeakArmor -> Technician
New Moves: None

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 95 -> 135 (+40)
Def: 125 -> 85 (-40)
SpA: 65 -> 105 (+40)
SpD: 75 -> 85 (+10)
Spe: 45 -> 95 (+50)

Flavor Concept: Crustle breaks out of most of its shell and uses the shards to add power to its weaker attacks.

Competitive Concept: Mixed Shell Smash sweeper with decent coverage. Rock Blast, Earthquake, Hidden Power, Poison Jab, and Bug Bite are all viable options on Mega Crustle.

Pro Tips: HP Fire should probably be used to handle difficult opponents such as Ferrothorn and Skarmory.
Mega Crustle
Type: Bug/Rock -> Bug/Steel
Abilities: Sturdy/ShellArmor/WeakArmor -> Clear Body
New Moves: Iron Head, Diamond Storm, Gyro Ball

HP: 70 -> 70

SpD: 75 -> 125 (+50)
Spe: 45 -> 25 (-20)
BST: 475 -> 575

Went for the concept of rocks turning to diamonds in terms of M-Crustle. Basically Crustle becomes more of a dedicated wall/more efficient hazard setter now with high buffs in defense stats, slight increase in attack, and a drop in speed.
Mega Crustle
Type: Bug/Rock -> Bug/Rock
Abilities: Sturdy/ShellArmor/WeakArmor -> Unbreakable (The Pokemon cannot lower its own stats)
New Moves: Super Power

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 95 -> 120 (+35)
Def: 125 -> 170 (+45)
SpA: 65 -> 65 (+0)
SpD: 75 -> 125 (+50)
Spe: 45 -> 15 (-30)
BST: 475 -> 575

Concept: With Shell Smash NOT lowering your defenses, and Super Power as a sort of upgrade to Earthquake in power with similar coverage and less immunity issues, you'd wonder how this thing isn't broken: it's too slow! By the time it can try and setup, Talonflame will still run circles around you, albeit you'll crush him under rocks, but that's its fault for staying in.
Mega Crustle
Type: Bug/Rock -> Bug/Ground
Ability: Sturdy/ShellArmor/WeakArmor -> Speed Boost
New Moves: None

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 95 -> 145 (+50)
Def: 125 -> 105 (-20)
SpA: 65 -> 65 (+0)
SpD: 75 -> 100 (+25)
Spe: 45 -> 85 (+35)

Its definitely flavorable! Gets out the shell and carrying all that weight then taking it off makes a good call for Speed Boost imo. Also we got no Bug/Ground Pokemon (Nicada nope, and wormadam? C'mon :p)
Mega Crustle
Type: Bug/Rock -> Bug/Rock
Ability: Sturdy/Shell Armor/Weak Armor -> Sturdy
70/140(+45)/150(+25)/65/105(+30)/45
New moves: n/a

Bulkier. Harder hitting. Doesn't necessarily need to Shell Smash to put a dent into things.
Mega Crustle
Type: Same
Ability: Sturdy/Shell Armor/Weak Armor --> Water Absorb
Stats: 70/95/125/65/75/45 --> 70/125/155/65/100/45

Mega Crustle is quite a nice wall. It only has 2 weaknesses, Rock and Steel. One of these is unfortunately quite common, but the other is really not seen much outside of Scizor. It can switch into Water type moves in order to heal itself, which is really nice espically when considering how common it is. Mega Crustle can also serve as a Shell Smasher, with plenty of attacking powers and a immunity to scald.

Mega Scrafty
Type: Dark/Fighting -> Dark
Ability: ShedSkin/Moxie/Intimidate -> Bulletproof
New Moves: None

HP: 65 -> 65
Atk: 90 -> 125 (+35)
Def: 115 -> 140 (+25)
SpA: 45 -> 45
SpD: 115 -> 140 (+25)
Spe: 58 -> 73 (+15)

Flavor Concept: The big gang leader always on his guard, hence the attack and defense boosts in addition to Bulletproof.

Competitive Concept: Bulky motherfucker capable of annoying the opponent with classic Drain Punch/Mach Punch shenanigans. Low HP and high defenses make it an ideal DP candidate with other cool coverage in elemental punches and Crunch. Dragon Dance is also a viable alternative now that it has usable speed.

Pro Tips: If you can eliminate all opposing fairies, a DD set with DP, MP, and Crunch can quickly sweep a team.
Mega Scrafty
Type: Dark/Fighting -> Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Intimidate/Moxie/ShedSkin -> Multiscale
New Moves: N/A

HP: 65 -> 65
Atk: 90 -> 120 (30+)
Def: 115 -> 135 (+20)
SpA: 45 -> 55 (+0)
SpD: 115 -> 135 (+20)
Spe: 58 -> 88 (+30)
BST: 488 -> 588

Just a beefed up version of Scrafty. Multiscale to give the idea that it's now inside of its shed skin and to enhance its durability in tandem with Drain Punch, Wish support, etc. Everything except for its special attack gets an increase allowing it to perform a number of roles more effectively.
Mega Scrafty
Type: Dark/Fighting -> Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Intimidate/Moxie/ShedSkin -> Simple
New Moves: Play Rough, Slack Off

HP: 65 -> 65
Atk: 90 -> 130 (+40)
Def: 115 -> 140 (+25)
SpA: 45 -> 45 (+0)
SpD: 115 -> 140 (+25)
Spe: 58 -> 68 (+10)
BST: 488 -> 588

Concept: Simple Scrafty? Yes, that's the name of the game. Gang Members tend to be a result of a lack of education. This lack Education makes you ignorant, even stupid, perhaps even Simple. Mega Scrafty is not going to like being a constant victim to Intimidates or other stat reductions. If your foe has Intimidate mons who will switch in on you, Mega AFTER they come in. Even with Simple Dragon Dance, Scrafty's 68 Speed is kinda sad. But again, use stat downs... or Fairies. Most fairies laugh at the dual STAB, and Clefable turns it into nothingness!
Mega Scrafty
Type: Dark/Fighting -> Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Intimidate/Moxie/Shed Skin -> Moxie
New Moves: n/a

HP: 65 -> 65
Atk: 90 -> 110 (+20)

SpA: 45 -> 45 (+0)
SpD: 115 -> 135 (+20)
Spe: 58 -> 98 (+40)
BST: 488 -> 588

Mega Scrafty is more of a refined, John Dillinger type of gangster now. Rather than rocking the baggy look, its Shed Skin is now looking much more sleek and tailored. As a result, it can move around much more freely and doesn't need as many Dragon Dance boosts to out speed things. It can hold off Mega evolving for as long as it needs to before the Moxie boost kicks in.
Mega Scrafty
Type: Same
Ability: Shed Skin/Moxie/Intimidate --> Shed Skin
Stats: 65/90/115/45/115/58 --> 65/120/125/45/125/108
New Moves: Coil

Mega Scrafty is now a powerful set up sweeper. It can use Coil to get perfectly accurate High Jump Kick and if it boosts high enough, Head Smash goes under the same situation. Its got a moderate amount of bulk on both sides and its new speed lets it outspeed a certain amount of threats. It can also run a double dance set that will also let it get its speed up. Shed Skin lets Mega Scrafty gets rid of some of those nasty burns and it also makes a lot of sense flavour wise.
Scrafty (Scraftite)

SpA: 45 -> 45
SpD: 115 -> 140 (+25)
Spe: 58 -> 78 (+20)

Scrafty is now a wall thanks to is new reliable recovery, boosted defenses and Shed Skin automatically curing status. Improved Speed and Attack allow it to sweep with Dragon Dance and great coverage just with its STABs.
Mega Scrafty

sigilyph.gif

Mega Sigilyph
Type: Psychic/Flying -> Psychic/Flying
Ability: WonderSkin/MagicGuard/TintedLens -> Magic Bounce
New Moves: Heal Bell

HP: 72 -> 72
Atk: 58 -> 58
Def: 80 -> 102 (+22)
SpA: 103 -> 125 (+22)
SpD: 80 -> 102 (+22)
Spe: 97 -> 131 (+34)

Flavor Concept: As "guardians of an ancient city," Sigilyph's mega form can bounce back status moves. Additionally, it can assist the city with Heal Bell (???).

Competitive Concept: Very different from its normal form, Mega Sigilyph is a rapid Magic Bouncer with longevity in Roost and utility in Heal Bell. It can also check certain opponents with versatile attack moves and a decent SpA stat.

Pro Tips: Full investment in Speed, and the rest of the EVs should be split between HP and SpA.
Type: Psychic/Flying -> Psychic/Flying
Ability: Wonder Skin/Magic Guard/TintedLens -> Specialized (Special variation of Brute Force)
New Moves: Brave Bird, Earthquake, Quiver Dance

HP: 72 -> 72
Atk: 58 -> 58
Def: 80 -> 100 (+20)
SpA: 103 -> 153 (+50)
SpD: 80 -> 100 (+20)
Spe: 97 -> 107 (+10)

Flavor Concept: Mega Evolving is a huge change! Becoming a Wall Breaking brute with an assortment of new coverage heavy 'Special' Attacks is welcome. These Special Attacks, mind you, can break the likes of Chansey.

+1 252 SpA Sigilyph Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 439-517 (62.3 - 73.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Make sure to roost up when you're finished, it might sting. Fortunately, Quiver Dance is a fun move, as Mega Sigil has a way to attract bugs to dance around it in worship. You should worship it too... with ballots.
Mega Sigilyph
Type: Psychic/Flying -> Psychic/Flying
Ability: Wonder Skin/Magic Guard/Tinted Lens -> Oracle (uses Future Sight when switching in)
New Moves: U-Turn

HP: 72 -> 72
Atk: 58 -> 58
Def: 80 -> 100 (+20)
SpA: 103 -> 138 (+35)
SpD: 80 -> 100 (+20)
Spe: 97 -> 122 (+25)

Mega Sigilyph goes on the offensive with the aid of Future Sight, which has been buffed to a 100 accuracy 120 BP Psychic attack. Once it enters the field, something will get damaged, so the opponent will be pressured to switch a Psychic resist/specially defensive Pokemon out when Future Sight hits. You can take advantage of the chaos it creates by U-turning to an advantageous matchup or Roosting to keep Mega Sigilyph alive longer.
Mega Sigilyph
Typing: Same
Ability: Wonder Skin/Magic Guard/Tinted Lens --> Wonder Skin
Stats: 72/58/80/103/80/97 --> 72/68/100/143/100/107

Mega Sigilyph is a powerful user of the move Stored Power. It is immune to Hazards other than Stealth Rock and it is immune to Earthquake. Its wonder skin helps it out by not making it completely immune to Taunt and Whirlwind, but it does make them rather inaccurate against Sigilpyh. It also gets some nice STAB to hit dark types with who are immune to Stored Power.
Sigilyph (Sigilyphite)
Type: Psychic/Flying -> Psychic/Flying
Abilities: Wonder Skin, Magic Guard (Tinted Lens) -> Magic Guard
New Moves: Focus Blast, U-turn

SpA: 103 -> 143 (+40)
SpD: 80 -> 100 (+20)
Spe: 97 -> 107 (+10)
BST: 490 -> 590

It's Sigilyph, but more offensive than defensive.
Mega Sigilyph
Typing: Psychic/Flying ----> Psychic/Flying
Abilities: Wonder Skin/Magic Guard/Tinted Lens ----> Time Dilation (all moves have a priority of +0 when the user is on stage. Pseudo-Hazing moves are exception to this.)
BST: 72/58/80/103/80/97 ----> 72/58/90/154/95/121

Def: 145 -> 175 (+30)
SpA: 95 -> 130 (+35)
SpD: 105 -> 125 (+20)
Spe: 30 -> 30

Flavor Concept: Steel typing and Flash Cannon because of the coffin's steel casing.

Competitive Concept: Annoying tank with WoW, Pain Split, and the dreaded Mummy ability. A relatively potent SpA stat also allows Mega Cofagrigus to deal decent damage with its STABs.

Pro Tips: Cool partner for Chansey to absorb Fighting type attacks and most unboosted Knock Offs. Cofagrigus loves the Wish support it gets in return.
Type: Ghost -> Ghost/Steel
Ability: Mummy -> Mummy
New Moves: Flash Cannon, Recover, Stealth Rocks

HP: 58 -> 58

You ever want to set unspinnable Rocks and TSpikes without being forced to use Golurk? Well, you now can! Here's a toxic immune mummy who can heal itself and take a lot of punishment. With DoT status flying around, you might want to use Hex instead of Shadow Ball. No, seriously.

The high defenses on this make it possible to trap certain physical attackers and set up Calm Mind and/or Trick room before disposing of them - kind of like a Gothitelle on steroids. Some points dumped into Attack so a +6/+6 MegaCofag can't sweep too easily.
Mega Cofagrigus
Type: Ghost --> Ghost/Steel
Ability: Mummy --> Mummy
Stats: 58/50/145/95/105/30 --> 58/80/155/110/125/40
New Moves: Flash Cannon

Mega Cofagrigus is pretty much a improved form of its base form. It gets a good amount of special bulk so it can be usable on special attacking/walling sets and its new type gives it a immunity to toxic. It is weak to some common attacking types, but its typing is overall pretty good, as you can see with Aegislash, a poke who shares Mega Cofagrigus' typing. It keeps its ability since its a rather good one and there is no reason to change it.

You accidentally put Dilasc's Cofagrigus suggestion there instead of tbone51's Crustle.

Type: Bug/Rock -> Bug/Ground
Ability: Sturdy/ShellArmor/WeakArmor -> Speed Boost
New Moves: None

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 95 -> 145 (+50)
Def: 125 -> 105 (-20)
SpA: 65 -> 65 (+0)
SpD: 75 -> 100 (+25)
Spe: 45 -> 85 (+35)

Its definitely flavorable! Gets out the shell and carrying all that weight then taking it off makes a good call for Speed Boost imo. Also we got no Bug/Ground Pokemon (Nicada nope, and wormadam? C'mon :p)

Since this thread has been entirely absent of discussion regarding the next slate, I figured I'd commence it.

Just like all of the early bugs with Quiver Dance, we need to find a way to differentiate the Megas of all the fossils with Shell Smash from each other. Perhaps Carracosta's could be more land-oriented because its Pokedex entry states that it's fully functional on both land and sea.

Maybe a physical tank spread for Garbodor? It could get similar stats to Mega Venu, and maybe even Thick Fat to top it off.

I'm feeling a straight-up stat buff backed by Technician for Mega Cinccino.

Gothitelle will be tricky. We absolutely CANNOT GIVE IT MORE COVERAGE. It's already good enough as it is.

Actually goth is shit against HO
I'd say remove shadow tag

I was thinking about an ability for Gothitelle that switches the opponent's Attack and Special Attack on the switch since it already gets some weird field effects like Wonder Room. It could be great defensively, but it could also backfire against some mixed attackers. At the very least, it avoids another Shadow Tag mon.

Garbodor's Mega I could see being a biohazard or radioactive waste container design-wise. Maybe an ability that automatically Toxics certain types on the switch?

While I wanted to give the stat spread for Mega Cinccino now, I already made two Mega Forme artworks for Cinccino months ago. But my idea is:
a. The first one has an even improved buff to its popular Skill Link build from 5th Gen.
b. The other mega for Cinccino is her untapped potential as a bulky special attacker since her pokedex entry says that her scarf can block attacks.
So at least, I could just show to you my art for her by the link below since I can't get the URL of it.

Alright the results are in, and thank god there is not many ties this time

Crustle: nightsitter
Mega Crustle
Type: Bug/Rock -> Bug/Rock
Ability: Sturdy/ShellArmor/WeakArmor -> Technician
New Moves: None

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 95 -> 135 (+40)
Def: 125 -> 85 (-40)
SpA: 65 -> 105 (+40)
SpD: 75 -> 85 (+10)
Spe: 45 -> 95 (+50)

Scrafty: GG Unit
Mega Scrafty
Type: Dark/Fighting -> Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Intimidate/Moxie/Shed Skin -> Moxie
New Moves: n/a

HP: 65 -> 65
Atk: 90 -> 110 (+20)
Def: 115 -> 135 (+20)
SpA: 45 -> 45 (+0)
SpD: 115 -> 135 (+20)
Spe: 58 -> 98 (+40)
BST: 488 -> 588

Sigilyph: The Pizza Man (Yay I won, but yeah click my avatar)
Mega Sigilyph
Typing: Same
Ability: Wonder Skin/Magic Guard/Tinted Lens --> Wonder Skin
Stats: 72/58/80/103/80/97 --> 72/68/100/143/100/107

Cofagrigus: Tie between nightsitter and Mega Mantine
Mega Cofagrigus
Type: Ghost -> Ghost/Steel
Ability: Mummy -> Mummy
New Moves: Flash Cannon

HP: 58 -> 58
Atk: 50 -> 65 (+15)
Def: 145 -> 175 (+30)
SpA: 95 -> 130 (+35)
SpD: 105 -> 125 (+20)
Spe: 30 -> 30

Cofagrigus (Cofagrigite)
Type: Ghost -> Ghost/Steel
Abilities: Mummy -> Mummy
New Moves: Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt

HP: 58 -> 58
Atk: 50 -> 50
Def: 145 -> 165 (+20)
SpA: 95 -> 145 (+50)
SpD: 105 -> 135 (+30)
Spe: 30 -> 30
BST: 483 -> 583

Cofagrigus is even bulkier and has a ton more resistances.

This post starts the submission period for Carracosta, Garbador, Cincinno, and Gothitelle

Again, we might need to combine the two Cofagrigus winners. I'm fine with giving it Thunderbolt, if that eases the compromising procedure.

Type: Water/Rock -> Dark/Rock
Ability: SolidRock/Sturdy/SwiftSwim -> Water Absorb
New Moves: None

HP: 74 -> 74
Atk: 108 -> 128 (+20)
Def: 133 -> 160 (+27)
SpA: 83 -> 101 (+18)
SpD: 65 -> 76 (+11)
Spe: 32 -> 56 (+24)

Flavor Concept: Many Pokedex entries state that Carracosta can “live in the ocean and on land,” so its Mega evolution is more land-based. It gets quite a few Dark-type moves, so I replaced Water with Dark and gave it Water Absorb so it still has some Water-based traces.

Competitive Concept: Shell Smasher with solid mixed coverage and two decent immunities. Stone Edge, Earthquake, Knock Off, Aqua Jet, Ice Beam, Superpower, and Iron Head provide great versatile coverage to handle what the rest of your team can’t after a boost or two.

Pro Tips: Kill all potential users of Fighting-type priority before attempting a sweep.
Type: Poison -> Poison/Dark
Ability: Stench/WeakArmor/Aftermath -> Thick Fat
New Moves: Recover, Knock Off

HP: 80 -> 80
Atk: 95 -> 125 (+30)
Def: 82 -> 124 (+42)
SpA: 60 -> 70 (+10)
SpD: 82 -> 120 (+38)
Spe: 75 -> 55 (-20)

Flavor Concept: It’s a fat, evil pile of trash. Garbodor knocks off people’s items to add to itself, and it can recover by gaining more bits of trash.

Competitive Concept: Bitchly physical tank with only one weakness and loads of resistances. MeGarbodor can set up Spikes, Recover, Knock Off the opponents’ items, and deal heavy damage with Gunk Shot. Fairly straightforward.

Pro Tips: There’s not much room for deviation outside of the four moves listed in the Competitive Concept.
Type: Normal -> Normal
Ability: CuteCharm/Technician/SkillLink -> Skill Link
New Moves: Superpower

HP: 75 -> 75
Atk: 95 -> 135 (+40)
Def: 60 -> 80 (+20)
SpA: 65 -> 75 (+10)
SpD: 60 -> 80 (+20)
Spe: 115 -> 125 (+10)

Flavor Concept: Not much to explain. Superpower because it’s strong, I guess.

Competitive Concept: Improved Cinccino that can sweep with Skill Link and powerful Normal/Grass/Rock coverage in addition to one of Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Superpower, and U-Turn. Not exactly a top-tier threat, but can be threatening with the right support.

Pro Tips: I don’t have anything to say here, so I’ll add that I just realized TailSlap/Superpower/KnockOff/RockBlast provides what is probably the best coverage, though you can probably add U-Turn in there for Rock Blast.
Type: Psychic -> Psychic
Ability: Frisk/Competitive/ShadowTag -> Shadow Tag
New Moves: None

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 55 -> 85 (+30)
Def: 95 -> 70 (-25)
SpA: 95 -> 140 (+45)
SpD: 110 -> 140 (+30)
Spe: 65 -> 85 (+20)

Flavor Concept: Not much changes

Competitive Concept: More of a powerful revenger than an anti-stall Shadow Tag mon. Poor coverage and typing in addition to awkward stat distribution let it down, but it can still trap and deal heavy damage to common threats like Venusaur, Gyarados, Ferrothorn, etc.

Pro Tips: Invest heavily in speed and watch out for Pursuit users.

How are we deciding stats? I'd say +10 Atk, +20 Def, +40 SpA, +30 SpD.

Anyways,
Carracosta (Carracostite)
Type: Water/Rock -> Water/Rock
Abilities: Solid Rock, Sturdy (Swift Swim) -> Strong Jaw
New Moves: Ice Fang, Poison Fang

HP: 74 -> 74
Atk: 108 -> 130 (+22)
Def: 133 -> 150 (+17)
SpA: 83 -> 93 (+10)
SpD: 65 -> 92 (+27)
Spe: 32 -> 56 (+24)
BST: 495 -> 595

Carracosta is known for its incredible jaw strength, chewing up steel beams and rocks along with their prey. With its new ability, Carracosta now has even greater coverage options. It now has a physical Ice-type move, and a usable one at that, as well as a powerful Crunch. It still has common weaknesses to Grass, Fighting, and Electric, so watch out for that. Make sure to eliminate Mega Venusaur and anything with Mach Punch before trying to sweep.
Garbodor (Garbodorite)
Type: Poison -> Poison
Abilities: Stench, Weak Armor (Aftermath) -> Plague (Opponents take damage equal to 1/8 of their HP each turn. Poison types are immune to this damage and Steel types only lose 1/16 of their HP)
New Moves: Earthquake, Rock Slide, Poison Jab

HP: 80 -> 80
Atk: 95 -> 119 (+24)
Def: 82 -> 120 (+38)
SpA: 60 -> 60
SpD: 82 -> 120 (+38)
Spe: 75 -> 65 (-10)
BST: 474 -> 574

Garbodor becomes an excellent wall and hazard setter, as most defoggers will be taking damage thanks to its ability. It also has Infestation to trap and provide an extra 1/8 per turn, and along with Toxic it can clear walls and offensive 'mons alike. Its biggest rival is another Poison-type Mega, Venusaur, which doesn't take much damage from it and can use Leech Seed. There are also offensive threats like Garchomp and Latios which can hit hard with their STAB quickly, avoiding too much passive damage.
Cinccino (Cinccinoite)
Type: Normal -> Normal
Abilities: Cute Charm, Technician (Skill Link) -> Skill Link
New Moves: Arm Thrust, Bone Rush, Icicle Spear
HP: 75 -> 75
Atk: 95 -> 130 (+45)
Def: 60 -> 80 (+20)
SpA: 65 -> 65
SpD: 60 -> 70 (+10)
Spe: 115 -> 140 (+25)
BST: 470 -> 570

Now that's what I call coverage. Bone Rush and Icicle Spear are now powerful 125 BP moves, Arm Thrust is a decent 75 power, and otherwise Mega Cinccino is just a more powerful version of itself.
Gothitelle (Gothitellite)
Type: Psychic -> Psychic/Ghost
Abilities: Frisk, Competitive (Shadow Tag) -> Shadow Tag
New Moves: Dazzling Gleam

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 55 -> 55
Def: 95 -> 115 (+20)
SpA: 95 -> 135 (+40)
SpD: 110 -> 140 (+30)
Spe: 65 -> 75 (+10)
BST: 490 -> 590

Gothitelle is known as the "Astral Body Pokémon", a philosophical idea linked to out-of-body experiences and the afterlife. This Pokémon is by design dark and gloomy. It can see the future, and as the Pokédex stresses, it knows when its trainer is going to die. All this lends itself to a Ghost type, which can be espescially useful as one of the few wielders of Shadow Tag. It now has an immunity to Normal and Fighting, and resists Poison and Psychic, so it has more switch-in opportunities. Of course it comes with even greater Ghost and Dark weaknesses, and it espescially has trouble with Pursuit users.

Mega Cinccino
Typing: Normal ----> Normal
Abilities: Cute Charm/Technician/Skill Link ----> Escalation (Multi-hit moves always hit all of their hits; they are also powered up by 1/4 for each consecutive hit.)
BST: 75/95/60/65/60/115 ----> 75/120/100/65/85/125
New Moves: Arm Thrust

Escalation, the custom ability, not only pretty much powers up Cinccino's 5-hit moves by 50%, it also threatens Multiscale users and Substitudes more than just s straight up power boost. For Multiscale, as it will only activate for the first hit, the users are forced to take the more powerful hits coming after the first one; Substitudes are the same, only with the sub breaking. Mega Cinccino also received a huge boost in its bulk, which gives it more opportunities to set up with... uh, Work Up? Lack of boosting moves still hampers it. Also, Mega Cinccino is completely walled by Mega Mawile, Aegislash if it doesn't pack Knock Off, or Bisharp if it lacks Arm Thrust.

Mega Garbodor
Type: Poison -> Poison/Steel
Ability: Stench/Weak Armor/Aftermath -> Filter
New Moves: Heavy Slam, Iron Head, Metal Claw

HP: 80 -> 80
Atk: 95 -> 115 (+20)
Def: 82 -> 154 (+70)
SpA: 60 -> 70 (+10)
SpD: 82 -> 112 (+30)
Spe: 75 -> 45 (-30)

Flavor Concept: Garbodor goes into a Dumpster.

Competitive Concept: Sets up hazards and walls attacks with a terrific set of resistances, backed up by Filter to shore up its 4x Ground weakness. A great companion to any Dragon, as it resists Fairy x4 and Ice/Dragon x2 (and also has a handy Rock resist, considering how many Dragons have secondary types weak to Rock). Moves like Clear Smog, Haze, Drain Punch, and Pain Split keep Megarbodor alive and dumping. Finally, beyond the obvious poison damage, this trash heap can be a real jerk with Infestation and Spite.
Mega Cinccino
Type: Normal -> Normal
Abilities: Cute Charm/Technician/Skill Link) -> Skill Link
New Moves: Coil, Low Kick
HP: 75 -> 75
Atk: 95 -> 125 (+30)
Def: 60 -> 120 (+60)
SpA: 65 -> 65 (+0)
SpD: 60 -> 90 (+30)
Spe: 115 -> 95 (-20)

Flavor Concept: The scarf goes wild! Cinccino has a whole boa to work with!

Competitive Concept: Wanted to be different from the generic "make Cinccino a better Skill Linker" concept while maintaining its basic role. Way I see it, the natural progression is for Cino to get more fur, thus more bulk, in exchange for speed (but let's not slow down too much!). Rather than expanding coverage, this Mega Cino is optimized by Coil, which not only makes sense flavorwise (after all, that scarf is coiled nicely around its neck) but boosts three extremely relevant stats. Attack is a given, defense is nice to supplement Cino's newfound bulk, and accuracy nicely assists Tail Slap and Rock Blast. Low Kick by and large would hit harder than Arm Thrust against Steel (really don't want to give a cute chinchilla the power to summon bones); otherwise, Tail Slap, Rock Blast, and Bullet Seed are all great options.
Mega Gothitelle
Type: Psychic -> Psychic/Dark
Ability: Frisk/Competitive/Shadow Tag -> Trace
New Moves: None (I'd love to bestow Lovely Kiss for flavor, but it'd make Shadow Tag Goth way too powerful)

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 55 -> 65 (+10)
Def: 95 -> 105 (+10)
SpA: 95 -> 125 (+30)
SpD: 110 -> 130 (+20)
Spe: 65 -> 95 (+30)

Flavor Concept: Gothitelle's weird plated dress opens to reveal layers of spikes, the hair is streamlined into a "ponytail".

Competitive Concept: A tracer that uses her non-Mega abilities to her advantage. With Frisk, Goth can scout before stealing a better ability. With Competitive, she can aim to rack up a Special Attack boost. And with Shadow Tag, beyond general trapping, she can pick and choose what ability she steals. Gothitelle already learns Dark Pulse and Foul Play, meaning both her STABs have the option of hitting both defenses (given Psychic/Psyshock). Moreover, she now loses her weaknesses to Dark and Ghost (but her new ability to shrug off Pursuit means now she REALLY hates U-Turn).

The biggest thing is that I'm really into the idea of Gothie getting a different role as a Mega than what she has in regular form; she's the only Shadow Tagger that isn't already Mega and isn't Wobbuffet, so she has the only opportunity to really show us what we could do with a "temporary trapper".

(Stealing Mega Mantine Layout, Please forgive me :3)
Carracosta
Type: Water/Rock -> Water/Rock
Abilities: Solid Rock, Sturdy (Swift Swim) -> Adaptability
New Moves: Stone Edge, Poison Jab

HP: 74 -> 74
Atk: 108 -> 140(+22)
Def: 133 -> 160(+27)
SpA: 83 -> 93(+10)
SpD: 65 -> 90(+25)
Spe: 32 -> 48(+16)
BST: 495 -> 595

Adding some more bulk and power, Carracosta is a great slow attacker that can increase its speed via shell smash and make him kill everything :D
Garbodor
Type: Poison -> Poison/Ground
Abilities: Stench, Weak Armor (Aftermath) -> Acid Absorb (Heals 1/4 of its max hp if when hit by Poison moves, Poison immunity.
New Moves: Earthquake, Rock Slide, Poison Jab

HP: 80 -> 80
Atk: 95 -> 110(+15)
Def: 82 -> 110(+28)
SpA: 60 -> 70(+10)
SpD: 82 -> 110(+28)
Spe: 75 -> 94(+19)
BST: 474 -> 574

The perfect anti stall pokemon, which gets a nice new type added and much more bulk :D
Cinccino
Type: Normal -> Normal
Abilities: Cute Charm, Technician (Skill Link) -> Deflection Fur (Magic Bounce Copy :3)
New Moves: Swords Dance
HP: 75 -> 75
Atk: 95 -> 120 (+35)
Def: 60 -> 90 (+30)

BST: 470 -> 570

Just look at his pokedex entry, and you will understand :3
Gothitelle
Type: Psychic -> Psychic/Dark
Abilities: Frisk, Competitive (Shadow Tag) -> Shadow Tag
New Moves: Dazzling Gleam, Nasty Plot

HP: 70 -> 70
Atk: 55 -> 65 (+10)
Def: 95 -> 120 (+25)
SpA: 95 -> 140 (+45)

BST: 490 -> 590

Yay a good trapper :3

Carracosta
Type: Water/Rock -> Water/Rock
Abilities: Solid Rock, Sturdy (Swift Swim) -> Bulletproof
New Moves: Stone Edge

HP: 74 -> 74
Atk: 108 -> 133(+25)
Def: 133 -> 158(+25)
SpA: 83 -> 93(+10)
SpD: 65 -> 105 (+40)
Spe: 32 -> 32
BST: 495 -> 595

Its shell looks like a bulletproof vest, and the ability helps against some of its biggest weaknesses (Bullet Seed and Energy Ball don't affylect it). Tried to make the stat spread geared more towards using Curse than having it be another Shell Smasher.
Garbodor
Type: Poison -> Poison/Steel
Abilities: Stench, Weak Armor (Aftermath) -> Biohazard (Automatically Toxics any Water, Flying, Grass, Fairy and Bug type on the switch)
New Moves: Iron Head, Gyro Ball, Flash Cannon

HP: 80 -> 80
Atk: 95 -> 115(+20)
Def: 82 -> 117(+35)
SpA: 60 -> 60
SpD: 82 -> 117(+35)
Spe: 75 -> 85(+10)
BST: 474 -> 574

Poison all the things! Super weak to Ground, but picks up some resistances from the Steel typing. Pretty much a designated Fairy slayer.
Cinccino
Type: Normal -> Normal
Abilities: Cute Charm, Technician (Skill Link) -> Skill Link
New Moves: Hone Claws (might already get it)
HP: 75 -> 75
Atk: 95 -> 135 (+40)

Gothitelle
Type: Psychic -> Psychic
Abilities: Frisk, Competitive (Shadow Tag) -> Strange Suggestion (Opponent's Atk and Sp. Atk are switched
New Moves: n/a

SpD: 110 -> 140 (+30)
Spe: 65 -> 85 (+20)
BST: 490 -> 590
No longer a Shadow Tagger, but it can serve as an excellent pivot by neutering attackers that rely on one side of the spectrum to do damage. Needs to rely on Wish and/or Aromatherapy to stay healthy for the whole match though.
