Modest Nature

- Moonlight / Psyshock / Ice Beam
[SET COMMENTS]
Meteor Beam Lunala serves as a great late-game cleaner and setup sweeper thanks to its great typing, wide pool of coverage, and access to Shadow Shield, letting it gain setup opportunities on special walls such as Slowking-Galar or deny revenge killing attempts from the likes of Regieleki and Hisuian Arcanine. Moonblast lets Lunala hit Dark-types like Hisuian Samurott, Weavile and Mandibuzz, while Ice Beam gives better odds into Eternatus and Ground-types like Arceus-Ground and Pinsirite Great Tusk while still hitting Mandibuzz. Moonlight lets Lunala regain Shadow Shield, protecting it from the aformentioned revenge killers, while Psyshock gives Lunala better outs against special walls like Ho-Oh, Blissey, and Clodsire. Lunala fits best on more offensive teams looking for a late-game cleaner, and as such appreciates special wallbreakers like Walking Wake, Raging Bolt, and offensive Eternatus, as they can help break down special walls such as Mandibuzz and Corviknight. Certain stout special walls such as Blissey and Garganacl can stop Lunala in its tracks, so physically offensive teammats that can pressure these such as Urshifu-R, Dragonite, and Tough Claws Solgaleo are appreciated; additionally, entry hazards from teammates like Hisuian Arcanine, Landorus, and Hisuian Samurott also help with chipping down the aformentioned special walls.
