  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

SV: Ninja vs Skyiew: Ninja has the better record. Don't know enough to really comment otherwise.
SV: Ethereal Sword vs Sunnyboi0: Ethereal has locked in incredibly well this tour and I know for a fact that Sword is bringing this home.
SV: Shucklegigas vs Whitespaniard: Spaniard is going to remember their training and click buttons and win.
SV: jackuzzler vs Showl: I have the weirdest feeling that Showl is going to get the losing matchup and play to near perfection and lose it all because of a single turn of bad RNG.
SS: Jojen vs Cielau: Money on the MPL champion.
SM: adjustments vs sealoo: I can't explain this one, this is just a hunch.
ORAS: feen vs Scarfire: Scarfire has the slightly better record and I think this is going to be a win for them.
BW: sasha vs hidin: I have no clue. Uhh they play Mono Threat by accident and the win is decided by a crit?

So if I win predicts I win the week right?

This was honestly an amazing experience, I didn't really want to manage at first but im glad twinkay signed me up thinking it was a joke post. I made some really good friends this tour.

twinkay thanks for being one of my best friends and running it back with me, the curse is finally over. Can't wait to manage more tours together QUEENIE. The hunkay and twinkay duo finally got a win, AND THE WAY WE ARE GONNA RUN IT BACK IN MOTHERRRRRRRPL, LOVEEEEEEEEEE. wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else.

Cielau as long as i've been on this site i never really got to get to know you, but i'm glad we teamed up. MPL and MFPL ur a legend, hopefully we get to team up again it was really fun.

Scarfire POST UR TEAMS, like god damn. It was really fun teaming up with you, you're a funny guy. Can't wait to manage team Canada with you and win!!!!!!!!!! Cell thanks for carrying the oras slot, you cook up the best teams and you truly are the oras goat. (minus that one ground team jk)

sealoo you sm BEAST, thank you so much for taking on that slot, you had an amazing run until a few hiccups but that doesn't change the fact that you beasted this tour.

hidin From refusing to play on smogtours, to overdosing on medicine and missing your game, to playing in a moving van, from getting hit by a piano you really game a long way in BW. Thanks for taking up that slot and for trusting me with prep.

Sunnyboi0 Sorry for putting u in BW first 2 weeks, you thrived in SV and i'm so glad to have got to know you. You are a really nice guy and fun to talk to, and i hope we can team up again.

Whitespaniard Can you please learn how to use something besides HO, JKKK. I loved teaming with you bro, i'm so glad to get to joke around with you and its always vibes. I promise if we team again i'll consider letting you use sunny day rotom.

Showl if anyone made me feel good as a manager it's you, the amount of trust you put in me was awesome and i'm super glad to have gotten you. Thank you for always stepping up with test games and being super motivated this tour, and not johning like the rest of these noobs.

Skyiew thank you for being slotted in like 4 different gens, and being passed anything and being down to play whenever and wherever. You came in clutch for us big time when we needed it, and hope all the best in future tours bro!

seth although you didn't have the record that you deserve, i still think you are an amazing dude and player, hope to team with you again.

ggs to the chimchars and ggs to everyone who played in this tour. it kinda sucks to go out like this but as a first time manager i don't really think i could have asked for a better experience. i do want to apologize to my team for my activity taking a pretty massive dip week 7-finals, this part of the year is by far the busiest for me and i did my best to try and support everyone the best i could despite my IRL being so so busy.

onto some (hopefully) brief shoutouts!

Ninja Ethereal Sword Shucklegigas the UNRIVALED SV core. we wouldn't have won anything, let alone post up the best sv record without this core. it was on our draft plan from day 1. also sasha is HELLA right in her message above about shucklegigas, i don't think i need to say anymore. ninja is also a newcomer to monotype who put in a lot of work and test games! let that be known! and we might have overpaid for esword but he's the literal definition of on the come up right now posting up a fantastic record in this tour and winning MLT recently! with his uniqueness in the builder this dude is going to be a star for sure.

jackuzzler i wanted to shout you out separately not only because our sv4 was in the air for the majority of the tour but especially for the work you put in. i know your losses and sometimes testing can be frustrating but i hope you can take something away from this and make it a huge stepping stone to making a name for yourself in this tier. you're cool too, lets keep in touch!

Jojen thanks for hunkering down the SS slot! i hope to see you get more involved in mono tours, glad you put in the work!

s/o to hosts asw for a smooth process all the way through. i think as a first time manager i can take away a lot from this. i hope to take this franchise to MPL next year and also hopefully follow through with a win as well.
 
winning a mono tour after all this time feels surreal, I'm so glad I was able to do it with this group of people I appreciate very much. big s/o to Seo. who was basically voluntold to do this and ended up being so much more active than I ever excepted, thank you so much for stepping up, especially when I was way more busy than I thought and making this such a fun and memorable tour. to my team y'all earned this every step of the way, enjoy the victory queens. thank you to all the other teams and hosts for an enjoyable and drama-less tour. and remember, NEVER give up on your dreams no matter what anyone says (unless it's getting scarfire to post teams)

Seo. Thanks for being my manager, it was an honor playing for you. I wasn’t expecting to be on this team and at first I was a little overwhelmed with yours and twinkays interesting personalities but I learned to embrace it and had a lot of fun because of it. You put in a lot of work and you deserve this win. You do need to learn to be a little more confident and embrace every creation of yours including sunny day rotom but for now I will take care of it until it’s mother is ready to step up and take it back.

twinkay Just like with seo I really appreciate the chance to have played for you and I’m glad the team got it done. I also appreciate you not sabotaging me with a promise that would be broken just because I have free will like one of the other managers on the team that I won’t mention to keep their anonymity. It would be an honor to play for you again.

To everyone else on the Chimchars, thank you all for giving it your all. Everyone put in so much effort (well besides scarlet but I guess when you’re the goat you don’t have to) and I’m so glad the team got this very deserved win. Everyone was amazing.

Have to mention the tinkatons because without them I might not be here. I’m sorry we couldn’t get it done in MPL and I take responsibility for that but I really appreciate that I was given the opportunity. Also, big thanks to ArkenCiel for supporting me when I was a new player. Although I’m still relatively new compared to a lot of the monotype players, it would be an understatement that you weren’t crucial to me maintaining my interest in monotype and growing as a player.

It was a pleasure playing with or against everyone in this tour and I’ve grown a lot as a player from it. I hope to continue to get better as a player from here and ggs Chimchars.
