Not A Bug Micle Berry in Gen IV

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to clarify how Micle Berry works in Generation IV.
According to Smogon, it provides a 1.2× accuracy boost to the next move.
However, the German PokéWiki states that in Gen IV, the next move is guaranteed to hit, unlike in later generations.
Similarly, Bisafans describes the effect as guaranteeing a hit under certain conditions—again, different from subsequent games.

From what I’ve gathered (via Perplexity and ChatGPT), both Micle Berry and Custap Berry changed between Gen IV and Gen V, making them more powerful in Gen IV.
It would make sense to me if Micle Berry ensured that the next move hits (excluding OHKO moves) and Custap Berry guaranteed priority in Gen IV, but I don’t have definitive confirmation.

Does anyone know for sure whether Micle Berry in Gen IV guarantees a hit regardless of accuracy drops or evasion boosts or move accuracy?

If a mechanic is incorrect you need to open a bug report in the future, not a suggestion as we try to implement all cartridge mechanics correctly (I've moved this thread).

This needs to be tested in generation 4 to confirm this is a bug or confirm that the wiki's linked are wrong, theres tons of incorrect information out there on the internet.

Please do not consult AI for bug reports, it doesn't know whats right or wrong.

I just tested it, and Miracle Berry does not guarantee a hit. I missed Dynamic Punch after activating it.

However, I discovered a different issue with its current implementation. In PS, Micle Berry only activates at the end of the turn, when it should activate as soon as the user's HP gets low, just like other berries.

Sorry for the confusion, it read like a bug report rather than a report of an inaccurate description. Regardless if the description was wrong, it would mean the mechanics we implemented were wrong too and therefore would require a bug report, so I think its fine here. (A suggestion would be fine if it was just clarifying the description or something).

The question is simply: What is the effect that I can expect from micle berry?

Based on Hydrametr0nice's reply, it seems the description on the dex is correct, the sites you linked are incorrect.

More specifically: the berry is consumed when the holder uses a move with 1/4 HP or less, accuracy is increased by 20% (1.2x). The berry is consumed on use.
