[OVERVIEW]
Milotic is an interesting and underrated Pokemon in BW2 OU. At first glance, it appears to be outclassed by the many bulky Water-types one could use to counter Rain teams (think Rotom-Wash, Jellicent, and Slowking). However, a few of its properties stand out. For one, it can compress reliable recovery, the ability to check most Ground-types, and the ability to mitigate dangerous sweepers like Volcarona into one teamslot. With some support, Milotic can run different sets to patch up holes on your team. Got a Dragon problem? Ice Beam gets rid of them. Being set-up on? Poison them then phaze them out. What makes Milotic especially curious is that because of Marvel Scale, status afflictions aside from sleep or Toxic don't put it out of commission (and paralysis makes it basically a check to everything). So why isn't it very common?

The answer probably lies in a combination of its vulnerability to all forms of passive damage and lack of instantaneous recovery or immunities to the attacks it's supposed to switch on. As such, switching in on Spikes greatly reduces her disruptive potential, she abhors being badly poisoned, and the prevalence of hard counters like Amoonguss and Ferrothorn doesn't exactly make the greatest case for her inclusion in a team. (insert something here about being outclassed by some guys). But rest assured, Milotic is a solid pick against many of the tier's dangerous attackers.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
===============

-Scald and Recover are given
-Toxic deals lures in other Water-types/ resists
-Dragon Tail messes with setup sweepers like Volcarona
-Ice Beam defeats Garchomp and Dragonite
-Hypnosis can be used on Reuniclus to safely switch in Tyranitar, and serves as a "get out of jail free" card vs Amoonguss and Ferrothorn
-Ice Beam+ Hypnosis is for TSS builds
-Refresh improves longevity against builds that abuse Toxic (such as Protect+ Toxic Keldeo)

Set Details
===============

-Maximum Defense to check Garchomp, Landorus-Therian, Dragonite, Excadrill, and Tyranitar.
-Marvel Scale to not be hindered in physical walling by burn and paralysis
-Avoids 2HKO from Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump in Rain

Usage Tips
===============

-don't let her take too much passive damage and identify what she can check from the start of the game
-property: when burned they can stall out Tentacruel in rain
-if no Leech Seed, a burned Ferrothorn loses to Milotic 1v1
-can Scald on Mew and not fear Synchronize that much

Team Options
===============
-Rapid Spin user is very helpful but not required
-Tyranitar; fits well on Sand teams
-Magnezone

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
===============
-Whirlpool+ Toxic on teams with Magnezone
-Magic Coat to force Ferrothorn/ Skarmory into attacking and gain momentum, also a great option against Amoonguss and support Tyranitar

Checks and Counters
===============
-Ferrothorn, Amoonguss
-counter depends on her set; Dragon Tail sets are weaker vs Dragon spam, Hypnosis means it can't poison bulky Water-types, etc.
-Powerful super-effective attacks like Thundurus-T's Thunder
-Toxic
