[OVERVIEW]
Miltank's Normal typing and solid bulk allow it to reliably switch into the threatening Ghost-types of the tier, such as Froslass, Gourgeist-S, and Trevenant, depending on its ability. Thanks to a wide array of utility moves such as Stealth Rock, Heal Bell, Thunder Wave, and Milk Drink, it is able to provide important role compression while having reliable recovery. Two great defensive abilities and great mixed bulk make Miltank easily customizable to a specific team's needs, with Thick Fat letting it check Fire-types such as Charizard and Sap Sipper letting it check Grass-types such as Tsareena lacking High Jump Kick. However, Miltank can be much too passive at times, relying on Toxic and Seismic Toss to maintain pressure, which can be sorely lacking against foes such as Cofagrigus and Togedemaru. It lacks many resistances, making it easy to overwhelm with attackers such as Tsareena if lacking Sap Sipper and Centiskorch if lacking Thick Fat. It also has a very relevant Fighting weakness, leaving it unable to face the Fighting-types in the tier such as Passimian and Scrafty.

[SET]
name: Defensive
move 1: Stealth Rock / Heal Bell
move 2: Milk Drink
move 3: Toxic / Thunder Wave
move 4: Seismic Toss / Body Slam
item: Leftovers / Heavy-Duty Boots / Rocky Helmet
ability: Thick Fat / Sap Sipper
nature: Careful
evs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
If Stealth Rock is already taken by a teammate, then Heal Bell is a solid replacement that lets Miltank function as a cleric. Toxic is useful for crippling opposing defensive threats such as Gigalith. Seismic Toss is the chosen attacking move due to it having a consistent damage output, but Body Slam is able to spread paralysis at the cost of inconsistent damage output. Thick Fat allows Miltank to better counter Froslass and take other Fire- and Ice-type moves from Pokemon such as Charizard and Alolan Sandslash, while Sap Sipper makes Miltank the tier's only reliable switch-in to Gourgeist-S and Trevenant and deters Tsareena's Power Whip. Scrappy is an option to damage Ghost-types such as Silvally-Ghost and Haunter, which would otherwise wall Miltank, barring its status, but lacks the defensive utility of either Thick Fat or Sap Sipper. The Speed EVs allow Miltank to outspeed Jolly Scrafty and the entire unboosted tier after a paralysis, while the rest augment its mildly lacking special bulk. Miltank should be paired with Pokemon that can account for its debilitating Fighting weakness. This includes Pokemon such as Weezing and Palossand, which, in return, appreciate Miltank checking special attackers such as Charizard. Stealth Rock setters such as Gigalith and Sandaconda can allow Miltank to run Heal Bell. These Pokemon heavily appreciate the cleric support Miltank then provides, as they are easily susceptible to status. Defensive Pokemon that are weak to Fire or Ice such as Ferroseed and Golbat appreciate the resistance Thick Fat Miltank provides. In return, Ferroseed can remove items from shared checks while Golbat can nullify Fighting-type attacks for Miltank.

:gs/miltank:

The terror of 2000's kids everywhere.

[OVERVIEW]
Miltank has a very unique niche in the PU tier as one of the two viable defensive Normal-type Pokemon, the other being Audino this really isn't necessary, particularly since Miltank is the more common/splashable of the two. no need to hit the competition before talking about what it does. This allows it to reliably switch into the threatening Ghost-types of the tier, such as Froslass, Gourgeist-S, Gourgeist-XL miltank doesnt reliably switch into the geists, not to mention geist-XL isn't really a thing, and Haunter which walls miltank completely. With reliable recovery in Milk Drink, Miltank is able to consistently check these Ghost-types weird sentence, milk drink could just go with the utility moves bit. Thanks to a wide array of utility moves such as Stealth Rock, Heal Bell, Thunder Wave, it is able to provide important role compression for teams that need it. Three solid abilities except we never want it running scrappy and it's really not relevant here, 2 great defensive abilities would be more precise and great mixed bulk make Miltank easily customizable to a specific team's needs. However, Miltank can be much too passive at times, relying on Toxic and Seismic Toss to do much offensively. This means it can easily be taken advantage of by pivots such as Heliolisk, Passimian, and Xatu how are heliolisk and xatu taking advantage of miltank? i genuinely have no clue what point you're trying to make with this sentence, making it a momentum sink at times. It also lacks many resistances, making it easy to overwhelm from attackers such as Alolan Exeggutor if lacking Sap Sipper and Centiskorch if lacking Thick Fat.

this overview is incredibly confusing. you go on at length about its ability to check ghost-types which is massively overblown, never mention its ability to check ice/fire mons which is really huge, even its ability to check grass types with the lesser defensive ability is more notable, talk about how pivots abuse passiveness which isn't really how that works, and don't mention that it's got a fighting weakness when just about every single team has a fighting type rn. this needs some work

evs: 252 HP / 192 SpD / 64 Spe i think this speed is outdated, jolly centiskorch/timid frosmoth not rly being what u want to cover nowadays. i think dropping it to enough to beat max jolly scrafty would be fine, will ask qc and let u know

[SET COMMENTS]
If Stealth Rock is already taken by a teammate or the slot is not needed, then Heal Bell is a solid replacement that lets it function as a cleric. Toxic is useful for crippling opposing defensive threats such as Gigalith, while Thunder Wave makes it easier for teammates to outspeed offensive threats such as Ribombee. Body Slam is the chosen attacking move as it is able to spread paralysis, but Seismic Toss has a much more consistent damage output. Heavy-Duty Boots provides Miltank with an immunity to hazards, avoiding chip damage from Froslass' Spikes and Poison from Weezing's Toxic Spikes, while Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves such as a Passimian's U-turn or a Froslass' Triple Axel. Thick Fat allows Miltank to function as a better counter to Froslass as well as being able to take other Fire- and Ice-type moves from Pokemon such as Charizard and Alolan Sandslash, while Sap Sipper makes Miltank the only reliable switchin to Gourgeist-XL and Trevenant gourg small is much better than both of these so ??? not to mention alolan egg and tsareena have a harder time spamming their moves, as well as being able to check other Grass-types such as Whimsicott i think u can switch into whims about as well with or without sipper given whims is weak and if it's specs then moonblast is the real threat and Thwackey. The EV spread allows Miltank to outspeed Jolly Centiskorch and the entire unboosted tier after a paralysis again will see about changing this, while the rest augments its mildly lacking special bulk. Miltank should be paired with Pokemon that can account for its debilitating Fighting weakness. This includes Pokemon such as Weezing and Xatu, who, in return, appreciate Miltank checking special attackers such as Charizard. These can also status troublesome physical attackers such as Passmian and Toxicroak, making them a bit easier for Miltank to deal with eh u dont rly expect weezing to be able to get a burn off on passimian or w/e i dont rly agree with this point. Stealth Rock setters such as Gigalith and Palossand can take the slot of Stealth Rock away from Miltank, allowing it to run Heal Bell. These Pokemon heavily appreciate the cleric support Miltank provides, as they are easily susceptible to status. fine i suppose but u should also mention things that need the fire resist for sure

miltank doesnt reliably switch into the geists, not to mention geist-XL isn't really a thing
With Sap Sipper, Miltank switches in because the next best thing they can hit Miltank with is either Explosion or Rock Slide. I guess they all run Trick, but if we're considering that then Miltank isn't a reliable counter to Froslass either. Although I will admit this is due to some miswording on my part so I specified that it needs an ability to do so.

Everything else was implemented without comment.

[OVERVIEW]
Miltank has a very unique niche side note "very unique niche" is a really bad phrase in the PU tier as a viable defensive Normal-type Pokemon this sentence continues to be completely droppable. as a rule of thumb if a sentence provides no useful info a reader wouldn't already know then it should have some very specific use for your prose. just sort of being an introduction isn't a necessary use. This allows it to reliably switch into the threatening Ghost-types of the tier, such as Froslass, Gourgeist-S, and Trevenant depending on its ability obviously this will need to get rewritten a bit after dropping the 1st sentence but ideally this will end up shorter and cleaner. Thanks to a wide array of utility moves such as Stealth Rock, Heal Bell, Thunder Wave, and Milk Drink, it is able to provide important role compression for teams that need it while having reliable recovery. Two great defensive abilities and great mixed bulk make Miltank easily customizable to a specific team's needs, with Thick Fat being able to check Fire-types such as Charizard and Sap Sipper being able to check Grass-types such as Tsareena lacking High Jump Kick. However, Miltank can be much too passive at times, relying on Toxic and Seismic Toss to do much offensively. extra space here It also lacks many resistances, making it easy to overwhelm from attackers such as Alolan Exeggutor if lacking Sap Sipper and Centiskorch if lacking Thick Fat, as well as a Fighting weakness, leaving it unable to face the many Fighting-types in the tier, such as Toxicroak, Passimian, and Scrafty. this sentence is run-on

[SET]

move 2: Milk Drink
move 3: Toxic / Thunder Wave
move 4: Body Slam / Seismic Toss
item: Leftovers / Heavy-Duty Boots / Rocky Helmet
ability: Thick Fat / Sap Sipper
nature: Careful
evs: 252 HP / 192 SpD / 64 Spe ok QC is good with changing this to just 4 speed, which is what you need to beat max jolly scrafty. so that's convenient.

[SET COMMENTS]

The EV spread allows Miltank to outspeed Jolly Centiskorch and the entire unboosted tier after a paralysis, while the rest augments its mildly lacking special bulk change this w/the spread change. Miltank should be paired with Pokemon that can account for its debilitating Fighting weakness. This includes Pokemon such as Weezing and Xatu, who, in return, appreciate Miltank checking special attackers such as Charizard. These can also status troublesome physical attackers such as Silvally-Steel and Toxicroak, making them easier for Miltank to deal with i still really dislike this status point. both of those will easily avoid status if they want to, for that matter they're not even getting tspiked. the first bit about they check fightings miltank checks zard is fine, this second bit just doesn't work. Stealth Rock setters such as Gigalith and Palossand can take the slot of Stealth Rock away from Miltank, allowing it to run Heal Bell. These Pokemon heavily appreciate the cleric support Miltank provides, as they are easily susceptible to status. Defensive Pokemon that are weak to Fire or Ice such as Ferroseed and Palossand dont reuse the same example like 2 sentences later appreciate the resistance Thick Fat Miltank provides. In return, Ferroseed can remove items from shared checks while Palossand can function as a Fighting resist for Miltank.

This is more of a GP thing, but the wording here is a little confusing at the ending of this sentence in regards to Toxic and Seismic Toss "doing much offensively". Your point here is correct, but please re-word this sentence to be more coherent. It lacks many resistances, making it easy to overwhelm from attackers such as Alolan Exeggutor Change to Tsareena if lacking Sap Sipper and Centiskorch if lacking Thick Fat. It also has a very relevant Fighting weakness, leaving it unable to face the many Fighting-types in the tier, such as Toxicroak, Passimian, and Scrafty.

If Stealth Rock is already taken by a teammate or the slot is not needed, then Heal Bell is a solid replacement that lets it function as a cleric. Toxic is useful for crippling opposing defensive threats such as Gigalith. Body Slam is the chosen attacking move as it is able to spread paralysis, but Seismic Toss has a much more consistent damage output. Change move order to Seismic Toss > Body Slam. Consistent damage is more valuable, especially considering you have Toxic suggested in the first moveslot > Thunder Wave. Heavy-Duty Boots provides Miltank with an immunity to hazards, avoiding chip damage from Froslass' Spikes and Poison from Weezing's Toxic Spikes, while Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves such as a Passimian's U-turn Use a different example than Passimian. You mentioned earlier that Miltank is "unable to combat" the Fighting-types, therefore a Fighting-type shouldn't be used when expressing the utility behind Rocky Helmet here. Togedemaru or Archeops are much better alternatives or a Froslass' Triple Axel . Thick Fat allows Miltank to function as a better counter to Froslass as well as being able to take other Fire- and Ice-type moves from Pokemon such as Charizard and Alolan Sandslash, while Sap Sipper makes Miltank the only reliable switchin to Gourgeist-S and Trevenant and serves as a deterrent for Alolan Exeggutor's Leaf Storm and Tsareena's Power Whip. In return, Ferroseed can remove items from shared checks while Palossand can function as a Fighting resist for Miltank.

Mention somewhere about how Scrappy can be used on Miltank as well, as with this ability it becomes a more reliable check to Silvally-Ghost since it is no longer immune to Body Slam. No need for Scrappy to be mentioned in the abilities tab under the Set portion. Just a quick sentence will suffice.
