given that you were only even allowed 2 IL spots at a time before this year, this has to be by far the best IL in the entire 10 year history of this fantasy league, yeah?
also my real life team leads the majors with i think 17 players on the IL, and it can be argued that the IL-rays are a better team than the non-IL rays. fun times

Ok, lets talk about this.
Offseason has been mostly dead until now, but as a Met fan i just wanted to write a small piece on jake no longer being a Met (grats gali + any other phils fans you don't have to see this guy 5 times a year anymore.)
Jake did so much for this team and he really was one of those guys that always felt like he'd be a met for life. I hope Jake goes on to have a hall of fame career and he has a resurgence in Texas. Nothing but good things to say about that man, probably the best player to wear the Met Uniform this century so far. I dont really know what to say, on one hand I really wanted him to stay, but on the other the cap space we would have used for jake can now be used to bring back other FAs (Otto, Bassitt, Nimmo?) and bring in new ones (alot of talk about Rodon and Senga becoming Mets, which could be interesting, especially as without Jake the pitching staff is looking terrible aside from Max, so front office needs to prio the pitching staff.)
All and all, i really hope Jake has a great 5 seasons in Texas. Good luck Jake, see you in Cooperstown.
