Metagame Discussion
This thread is for discussion about the current metagame; in this thread, we encourage people to share their thoughts on elements that they think could be potentially unhealthy in order to help balance out the metagame.
Sample Teams
This resource provides quality teams for new players to help adjust to the metagame. They are best used on the Monotype ladder or Monotype Room tournaments to help you get better acquainted with the metagame.
Viability Rankings
This resource provides a screen shot of what is currently good on each type within the metagame. It is a great resource to use to help determine which Pokemon are solid on each type.
Speed Tiers
This is a visualized list of how fast the metagame is, the top post are the fastest Pokemon, while the bottom represents the slowest Pokemon in the metagame. This helps teambuilders determine which threats are worth outspeeding and can show which Pokemon can present a problem to your team.
Team Building Workshop
Have some of our contributors are familiar with the metagame build a team centered around an idea or core you provide! Take note: this is trying to help educate people on what is good and how to build effective teams.
Contributions and Corrections (Smogdex Analyses)
This forum is for analyses, which are sets the community writes about and which teammates per type benefit from this Pokemon. Which are then directly uploaded to the Smogon Pokedex, where you can export sets and read how best to use them.
