Merry Christmas DeadByDaylight, I tried making "Bug team around Throat Spray Speed Boost Yanmega" and I think its really close. I would like to ask for the community help as I do believe the bug sections are lacking (the sample team has an item called metronome, are you serious?!). I tried Rabsca with a trick room set and I do feel like its close enough(it doesn't appear on the viabilty section).

Sure bug might be bottom tier , but I really had fun and would like to work Coach Harry or any other bug bosses to improve this team and the type overall, as I feel the team is so close to optimal. Here is the team https://pokepast.es/8958b602135f3079

469-0.png
Will start a lot with this poke as I opted for no spinner. Not many moves activate the throat spray, but Bug Buzz is your main one and Psychic Noise is the other. Both are strong moves, and I really think people sleep on not running noise. I'm a little unsure on the EVs here but am very confident in the 4 moves.

900-0.png
Most likely your starter if its not Yanmega, as both are the only ones on the team that don't run boots. Moves and EVs are pretty standard, but if you're good at getting the web out, maybe run an adamant set? Otherwise, don't mess with what works.

637-0.png
One of the best pokes on the team, moves are pretty standard. Could run Bug Buzz , but doesn't help the Heatran problem you see with a lot of the higher ranked steel teams. EVs I'm unsure on, probably could add a few more on Speed, maybe SPD.

752-0.png
Another absolute monster that helps bug try to be serviceable. Since I think boots is the best option, it allows the water spider to run Web which can change up a lot the team is played. Liquidation and Sticky Web are the 2 moves I'm confident in, I've messed around with Iron Defense, Mirror Coat, and Infestation, but Leech Life/Endeavor are what I settled on. This bug has a lot of versatility so the 2 moves could be changed and EVs could be messed around with.

212-0.png
Another Bug staple, unfortunately I'm unsure on the last 2 moves and EVs. Swords Dance and BP are standard, after trying Knock off and I did like CC better. Could try U-turn, Trailblaze, Roost, I'm just unsure how I wanted to use Scizor on the team, but know his place is safe. Also the EVs could hugely be changed, along with the item if you wanted to switch it up even more.

988-0.png
This is the controversial spot. Most teams run Forretress here as a spinner/defense tool. But I don't like its lack of ability to heal, so I tried a few different pokes including Rabsca with boots which I felt like did well with this team and trick room. Ultimately I settled on the biggest stat Bug and one with another priority. First Impression and CC are musts, and a slow U-Turn is pretty strong. I'm not confident on the healing, EQ and Flare Blitz can be utilized along with different EVs and item to make Slither Wing a really scary offensive monster.

Thank you for reviewing the team, and open to any feed back or improvements as I would like to help Dead make his team better while also breathing in more life to the Mono Bug community.

Here are some replays that show some impressive potential:

Merry Christmas jackuzzler and Happy New Year! I'm your Secret Santa! Here's your Fire Skeledirge team I made: https://pokepast.es/975cc2fba821aa84
Managed to get into the mid 1500s with this team of
1735010233450.png
1735010258447.png
1735010285696.png
1735010346178.png
1735010375771.png
1735010402312.png

1735010233450.png
Originally I had max special attack offensive dirge, but it just did not have many opportunities to come in and do damage, so I switched to the standard max HP max defense set. Boring I know, but it is very solid and does its job. It beats some Gouging Fire, Sneasler, Iron Hands and spreads burns through the opponents team. I have used it to beat DD Dragapult a few times as it takes 58% from Phantom Force and can then burn or kill it next. With Sun support from Torkoal it can come in rather freely vs Azumarill and burn it. Shadow Ball over Hex for the immediate power which has come in handy.

1735010258447.png
When I was testing at the start I kept getting destroyed by lead Kleavor whether on Rock/Bug. That got me thinking, what can outspeed a scarfed Kleavor and kill it in one hit before it can set up rocks? Introducing Choice Scarf Moltres with Overheat! With Overheat you have a 87% chance to OHKO Kleavor (provided you hit ofc). Very few people expect the offensive Moltres, so you can surprise a lot of teams with it. 125 base sp. atk is nothing to be slept on, and Overheat is doing a lot of damage, especially if you have the sun up. Moltres also provides a crucial ground immunity to the team. Air Slash for a reliable STAB option. Scorching Sands to surprise Glimmora and Heatran after you pop their balloons. With the last move you can run whatever (U-turn, Flamethrower etc.), I opted for Hurricane.

1735010285696.png
Standard Torkoal set. Sets the sun, sets rocks, spins.

1735010346178.png
Ogerpon will carry against the Water matchup. Nice to have against Rock and Ground too. Play Rough to hit dragons such as Latios, Dragonite, Kommo-O. Though Fire still struggles against Dragons because of the double steel core + Gouging Fire. Very nice against Ting Lu on dark teams.

1735010375771.png
Standard Dragon Dance set. Earthquake to break Toxapex. Was originally running a +speed set under the sun but it just was not hitting hard enough so I switched to max attack jolly. Can be a win con in certain situations. Try to preserve it when facing mono dragon.

1735010402312.png
Forms a double scarf core with Moltres. Choice Scarf is very nice because it can kill a lot of frailer threats such as Flutter Mane, Indeedee, Regieleki, Deoxys-Speed etc. Strong STAB U-turn to chip things down is great too. High Jump Kick is necessary to punish Archaludon. For the last move I am running Sucker Punch. This might seem weird on a scarfed mon but it is nice to stop Iron Boulder from running through fire teams. 99% of Iron Boulder are choice scarfed and no fire type can switch in safely. Gouging Fire, Skeledirge and Torkoal can only live one hit from full. The only fire type that can outspeed Iron Boulder is Talonflame which is hard to use and not doing much back. Sucker Punch allows you to guarantee live a Mighty Cleave as a dark and proceed to do 75% back. It also has other benefits like acting as a semi-check against protosynthesis/scarfed Flutter Mane and DD pult.

Merry Christmas to yedla , you asked to lord Delibird a Ground volturn team based out of Golurk for these holidays, and so I did it for you.
here's the team link : https://pokepast.es/0a4afcd8383c7aeb And the team composition :
golurk.png.m.1733184959
landorus.png.m.1733184959
gliscor.png.m.1733184959
sandy-shocks.png.m.1733184959
ting-lu.png.m.1733184959
iron-treads.png.m.1733184959

I'll also explain every set and how I struggled with a problem called skill issue using this team

golurk.png.m.1733184959
This guy was supposed to be the star of the show, but unfortunately he can't pivot without eject button, so I decided to use him as a sash lead (do work unless you're like me and get frozen turn 1 three fights in a row)

landorus.png.m.1733184959
He's the real shining star out there. I sometimes replace Focus Blast or Sludge Wave with Psychic depending on my feeling, but most of the time I'll run the set in the pokepast. The only time he had no chances was against (again a turn 1 freeze on Golurk) Darkrai which lead me to get outsped by the scarf.

gliscor.png.m.1733184959
Good ol' physical reliability, he's there to send toxic through the whole enemy team before switching out on a U-Turn or surprise physical Hoopa-Unbound. You can also remove boots to deal a whole lot of damage through hazard stack. Like always with that guy, he explodes at the thought of an ice cube so keep him away from Kyurem spammers.

sandy-shocks.png.m.1733184959
Our second and final special mon. A basic Assault Vest to tank threats such as Flutter on the switch and Volt out to the next mons for immediate destruction, or just Flash Cannon if you got enough HP.

ting-lu.png.m.1733184959
Again, another guy made to tank only special mons, because I hate Flutter Darkrai and Greninja. It's as easy as you think it is, spam heavy slam on light weaknesses, if not Earthquake, if it's a bulky thing that can't take much like Corv just do ruination, but if you're safe just add spikes in your ennemy's life. (wow I just saw I forgot to add the 4 final EVs in Defense while building)

iron-treads.png.m.1733184959
Last but not least, Iron Treads. Since I can't do Booster Energy into mass spinning into oblivion, I made a tank. I didn't pick Tusk because he's weak to ice and flying, also Treads is better at defending. I didn't give him Volt Switch because he don't need it. That's a stall boy that most of the time will come after Gliscor to kill a big monster through poison, or come safely to spin / anticipate the ghost type and spam H-Slam.

For the replays, I can't find them anymore (me and my luck I guess), and I wanted to make the post on the 24th, so here ya go, have fun, and "Smell ya Later"!

Dettryuo here is your gift. You asked for Kyurem (Ice) team. So here is your team.

https://pokepast.es/b5412e02af70101d

:Ninetales-Alola:: The snow setter for the team, I chose ict rock over aurora veil as some mons outspeed ninetales and 4x weakness to steel is dangerous. snow provides u and teammates the defense boost which helps as ice has many weakness such as Fighting, Steel and Rock which have strong physical moves. Moonblast threats fighting threats.
:kyurem:: I have used specs over d dance because already has too many physical attackers so we a physical attacker. freeze dry helps check water types and earth power checks steel and rock types.
:avalugg:: Avalugg is the Physical wall which can tank many super effective moves and serves as a hazard removal as well. Iron Press hits hard as it boasts a high defense stat.
:cloyster:: Cloyster is a key part that help the team take care of Fire types and and also becomes really threating after a shell smash.
:weavile:: Weavile speed tiers help it to out speed many threats and swords dance helps it set up on foes potential switch and triple axel allows it to break sash and sturdy of foes. Ice shard provides strong priority.
:mamoswine:: Assault Vest lets mamoswine tanks special hits and knock off lets it remove annoying items such as rocky helmet and lefties. Earthquake checks Steel and Rock types.

Sorry I did not have times to gather replays. However I have tested the teams with people and it is good and usable considering Ice is not that great in this meta.

First of all thank you to skazka, very creative take on fire from the basic 6 which is what I wanted to see someone experiment with! Now Happy Holidays to Coach Harry, you requested a Galarian Moltres Double Dance team without specifying the type, so my first explanation will be why I chose flying:

Flying supports Galarian Moltres significantly more than Dark does, mostly due to the strong pivoting ability of Flying as well as the ability to break down walls with Dragonite/Lando and have healing wish support for Goltres with Enamorus. Now here is your team, a description, and a few replays:

:moltres-galar: :landorus-therian: :dragonite: :enamorus: :tornadus-therian: :corviknight:(click on sprites for paste)

:moltres-galar: Since Kingambit got banned, I've been pretty high on this pokemon, it has some strong offensive fire power, and with agility and great dual stab, a lot of endgames end up being favorable for it. I believe since the ban of kingambit, Skarmory is droppable on flying teams which makes room to still support this mon with a very strong and somewhat standard flying team. I chose the standard set for your requested mon, it's the standard for a reason, and a boots attacker was something this team very much needed.
:landorus-therian: I chose a bit of a unique set for lando-t, an offensive soft sand taunt rocker. With Smack Down and EQ, you pressure opposing steel teams pretty hard, along with still being the strong intimidate presence forcing switches, as well as shutting down opposing rock setters which is mandatory on flying teams,
:corviknight: Mandatory defogger, your most valuable tool vs opposing fairy teams, and a very useful pivot vs dragon as well. U-Turn > Body Press because this team already handles Steel quite well, and being able to pivot out on Gholdengo is very useful for this team, and upholds momentum for our offensive core to continue applying pressure.

:tornadus-therian: This forms the defensive pivoting backbone with Corviknight. Assault Vest allows it to trade off with certain special attackers which is very useful for this team, specifically Iron Valiant and Enamorus. On an offensive flying team, Corv and Torn are the only defensive backbone you need for a successful team, and quite frankly the knock off/pivoting combo sometimes are the only two moves you need to click on Torn.
:dragonite: Band nite is insane, it cleans games insanely well when Goltres can't, and is able to break down walls that Goltres usually can't break through. There's not much else to say to this, keep it healthy for as long as possible and play aggressive with Dragonite making reads, and get it in as much as possible.
:enamorus: Provides healing wish support for our offensive dnite or goltres, as well as another strong revenge killer. Other than that, it's a standard speed control scarf set that can pressure frailer offensive teams very well.

I've been busy, but I have two replays vs the extraordinary (overrated) monotype player RoyalReloaded to show you how the team works

vs Fighting https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2268995090-bgwu0yfaq59bvkxpyp8lr52wbq47v1jpw
vs Steel https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2268999703-8cmn14jh6c6utyfuyp37bkrzmlq515vpw

Have fun to anyone who wants to try this team! I personally think it's very strong.

Merry Christmas, skazka! You asked for Iron Leaves Grass, and after a whole lot of brainstorming (and being sick in bed for the first 2 weeks of the month) I feel like I've created a good team.

I laddered on my alt account to test this team (although I didn't play too many games, I didn't really have the time to get a high ELO), making all sorts of changes and tweaks along the way when I felt something wasn't doing what it should've.

Link to the team - :iron leaves::amoonguss::toedscruel::sinistcha::ogerpon-cornerstone::meowscarada:

:iron leaves: The first Pokemon on the team is the central Pokemon, Iron Leaves. Due to how frail it is, it can be a little hard to get this in safely for it to sweep in some match-ups, but once it's safely in it can go crazy. Iron Leaves is especially good in matchups such as Poison, Steel and Ice due to its solid 104 Speed and hard-hitting 130 Attack stat. As for the set, I chose to use Life Orb with Swords Dance, Psyblade, Close Combat and Trailblaze. It already hits hard unboosted, but with a Swords Dance it can OHKO almost every bulky Poison type that Grass could ever have trouble with. Plus, with Trailblaze, it can pick off weakened Pokemon and get a Speed boost at the same time to outspeed faster threats such as Iron Moth, Flutter Mane, and Ogerpon-Hearthflame. But if Iron Leaves is so frail, how can it set up without dying?

:amoonguss: The answer is being evil. Amoonguss is one of two Spore users on the team, along with being a pretty good defensive wall when it needs to be. Very simple set, just Spore to give you at least one free turn to switch around, 2 STAB moves, and Synthesis and Black Sludge for recovery. It's invested fully into HP and Defense to tank hits and ensure that something falls asleep, and with its high HP it can still survive special attacks that might be thrown its way.

:toedscruel: The second of the two Spore Brothers is Toedscruel, who also acts as a Sp. Def wall and a Rapid Spinner. Between Amoonguss and Toed, you're almost guaranteed to hit at least one Spore in any battle that isn't a Grass mirror. Plus, between its high HP and Sp.Def, it can tank some hits in the process. Spikes can break the opponent's Sturdy or Focus Sash to open up potential sweeps in the future, Rapid Spin gets rid of hazards to slow down potential sweeps in the future, and Earth Power lets Toed do at least some damage to not be completely passive.

:sinistcha: Sinistcha not only adds even more bulk to the team, but stops the team from being completely steamrolled by any random Fire-types. Sinistcha also has a very standard moveset, running Leftovers with Calm Mind, Matcha Gotcha, Shadow Ball and Strength Sap. However, the EVs are somewhat unique here. 216 HP EVs provides the optimal Leftovers healing with an HP stat divisible by 16+1 while still being only 9 points away from max HP, and the mixed defensive EVs allow Sinistcha to tank Fire-type moves of all kinds with ease.

:ogerpon-cornerstone: Ogerpon-Cornerstone is a Grass staple at this point, being basically necessary for the Flying and Fire matchups on top of being able to revenge kill any heavily-boosted sweeper that would OHKO everything else. Besides the typical SD, Ivy Cudgel and Horn Leech that are on basically every Ogerpon set, Play Rough is a useful move for the Dragon matchup.

:meowscarada: Meowscarada is another very simple but necessary set for the team. Scarf Meowscarada is one of the fastest Pokemon in the game, being able to outspeed a lot of other Scarfers and every single non-Scarf Pokemon. Flower Trick and Knock Off serve as solid STAB moves with extra utility at times, while Triple Axel can easily take down most Flying, Dragon and Grass types that the rest of the team might not handle well.

Merry Christmas Neko, because you were a well-behaved cat this year, you received 2 presents. Let's see what it's all about. As requested, two teams around the big bear, Ursaluna.

1st team- (https://pokepast.es/849e3c0d0efdf06d) : Ursaluna is an incredible wallbreaker with solid bulk, but hir speed leaves a lot to be desired, or not, with the help of the ground kraken, Toedscruel, you can reverse the tables and massacre everyone, with sleep powder we can put the opposing pokemon to sleep, and then use trick room and switch to Ursaluna safely, you can also catch some Kyurem users off guard with mirror coat and sash. Landurus keeps everyone grounded, dealing wonderfully with all the iron birds and some balloon lovers. Scarf Excadril makes it easier to duel with dragons, its ability makes any lat's brother a bad answer and its earthquake a safe choice against dragons. The Nordic land pig, Mamoswine, can take a good amount of ice moves without leaving anything to be desired in terms of dealing damage, and with ice shard, it can cut some small grasses without being touched or with icicle crash cut the most resistant ones. Our beloved salamander of the muddy puddles absorbs all the water squeaks that can be fired and fills the field with spikes, giving any opponent a headache.

2º team - (https://pokepast.es/45762abacef355fd) : In the second team, Kraken is replaced by Batman, Gliscor, giving greater flexibility and efficiency in responding to the opponent's physical attacks, its broken ability and access to toxic make it an extremely unpleasant opponent to deal with, and its counter can catch any physical set-up sweeper off guard like the Heartflame Ogerpoon.

Rolls for each pokemon on both teams:

1734894337782.png
Swords Dance Ursaluna is your powerful physical wallbreaker, with his ability and his natural high attack, it can delete even the most bulkier of the mons, and with the help of trick room he can clean teams like no other. Additionally, the Flame Orb grants Ursaluna immunity to other status effects, enhancing its role as a status absorber.

1734894409793.png
Mamoswine is your main answer to Ice-type attacks due to the combination of Assault Vest, ice typing and its Thick Fat ability, helping the team to remain functional even when facing problematic Pokémon's like Ice Beam Spec Greninja and threatening to knock them out. Its high attack, incredible offensive typing and access to priority make Mamoswine a good offensive option to deal with some annoying Pokémon like Gliscor and Meowscarada.

1734894658600.png
Toedscruel is your trick room setter. If there are no hazards on the field, spore and sash practically guarantee that the trick room is activated and that Ursaluna is safely placed on the field, in addition to in many cases interrupting the opponent's sweep, such as putting an Azumarill +6 to sleep and giving Ursaluna the opportunity to eliminate it.

1734895669282.png
Excadrill is your revenge killer and rapid spinner, clearing ice and fairy teams. In matchups against fairy teams, rapid spinner is practically guaranteed since iron head makes a Flutter-main hard switch unlikely, helping the team to remain functional even when facing an Azumarill. Mold Breaker ignores levitate from problematic Pokemon like Hydreigon, Latios and Latias.

1734895831200.png
In team 2, Gliscor is your main physical wall. With Ursa, Mamo and Exc, the team becomes extremely sensitive to fighting moves, but with Gliscor's typing and incredible bulk, he can absorb most of these attacks and more. With his ability, Toxic Orb, and access to Protect, he can restore his health very quickly and, if the opponent is already poisoned, he restores HP while the opponent weakens with passive damage.

1734896165508.png
Landorus is the special wallbreaker and gravity setter. The combination of his medium-high special attack, ability and life orb make him one of the best special attackers in the metagame. His earth powers have virtually no response, and if there is, it won't last long. With gravity activated, he becomes a terror for most birds and makes his teammates' earthquakes even more effective and terrifying.

1734896589845.png
In team 1, Clodsire is your mixed wall, with his incredible bulk and typing, he is able to deal with and threaten the most varied Pokémon that would otherwise be extremely problematic, such as Scarf-Meowscarada, Hatterene and Volcarona. With his ability, he makes any water movement a bad idea for your opponent, regardless of how incredible it may seem. He is also your main hazard setter, with access to spikes, creating the perfect terrain for our beloved TeddyBear. In team 2, he becomes a full special wall, absorbing most of the special attacks that can be sent without problems, but becoming a bit more susceptible to physical attacks. Otherwise, he works the same way as in team 1.

Note: you could try changing AV Mamo for Band Mamo, I think that can work well on team 1 too, and in the team 2 you can see if toxic spikes are better in clod instead of normal one's because of Gliscor.

Have fun and Happy Holidays!!

Merry Christmas Pengairxan, hope you spent some quality time with the people who matter most to you.

:sv/skarmory: :sv/tinkaton: :sv/gholdengo: :sv/heatran: :sv/archaludon: :sv/scizor:

Your request was a Tinkaton Steel, so I decided to make this team - it laddered quite well up to roughly top 200 / 1545 ELO (sadly didn't save the peak) before running into a string of Ground and Fire which made it fall. I'm currently at roughly 1450 ELO with it, but it definitely has potential to go further.

:skarmory: Skarmory sets up Spikes for the team and allows us to have a higher margin for error against Ground teams. It also helps a ton in longer games by chipping down physical threats thanks to Rocky Helmet and putting them in range for a Scizor Bullet Punch kill if necessary.

:tinkaton: When I looked at Tinkaton, I saw a few appealing traits: a fairly fast Encore, access to Rocks, and Knock Off support. This team aims to use those things as best as they can, as it provides great role compression. Encore is a lifesaver against things like Ceruledge trying to SD up and win, which is why the set is max-max, and Rocks allows Archaludon and Heatran to run other sets (more on that later). Knock Off support plays really well with Spikes from Skarm and its own Rocks, letting Scizor do the late-game cleaning.

:gholdengo: It's Gholdengo. Need I say more? It keeps Spikes and Rocks on the field while being a very versatile threat by itself, beating stuff like Toxapex.

:heatran: Offensive Heatran may seem like an odd set, but it works quite well here as another source of offensive pressure to beat down bulkier staples like Ting-Lu with Magma Storm + hazard stacking. Not having to fit Stealth Rock here allows Heatran to run Taunt, which helps it against the pink blobs as well as other miscellaneous things like Glowking, all of whom either get chipped down into range of basically everything or die outright.

:archaludon: I went with a SV OU-inspired set and strapped on Assault Vest, as Archaludon doesn't need to run Rocks on this team. AV Arch is incredibly bulky on both sides, and that bulk allows it to sponge Water- and Fire-type attacks that would otherwise take it out despite its resistances. Being able to forgo Rocks for an extra move in Flash Cannon is also great, as it allows Archaludon to leverage its bulk to fish for drops or throw off a strong neutral hit without dropping its SpA. Other than that, fairly standard set.

:scizor: Scizor is the main source of immediate offensive pressure on this team with its incredibly strong Banded Bullet Punch tearing through a ton of neutral targets if they get chipped even one bit with hazards. It also functions as this team's pseudo-speed control (as there is no scarfer), while providing even more Knock support.

Here are some replays:
vs. Poison - granted, this was a loss, but it showcases how good Taunt Heatran is at dismantling bulky pieces (in this case, Glowking)
vs. Normal - this game shows how to deal with huge threats like Specs Horoark and Ursaluna
vs. Dragon - just an all-around good game to showcase how the team works

EDIT: Proof of Peak (ignore the GXE, I went and re-attained the peak)

Hey, here is my request for mistericonic
" This request came from mistericonic, My archtype of interest is balanced water/ghost with a good amount of pivoting. "

1st team :
https://pokepast.es/cc143c32ba50eec7
:swampert: :toxapex: :Alomomola: :Samurott-Hisui: :Manaphy: :Urshifu-Rapid-Strike:
A balanced with pivoting in water, Manaphy balanced was the first idea that came to my mind.
This team team can obv be bulkier with scarf samu and defensive mon over shifu.

explanation of the sets

:swampert: -> balloon with ice beam because we have no ground switch in, rest is sample set
:toxapex: -> EButton for pivoting gunk shot to hit harder ogerpon/fairy but you can play an other poison move, speed for hatte
:Alomomola: -> sample set
:Samurott-Hisui: -> SD for dragon match up, balloon because we have no ground switch in ( and i like balloon as an item :p )
:Manaphy: -> sub mana for flying, you can probably play psychic over sub if you want a better poison mu
:Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: -> sample set, you can play an other scarf if you want like greninja, bruxish or Walking Wake

2nd team :
https://pokepast.es/92fafbaad8119a4b
:Pecharunt: :Basculegion: :Gholdengo: :Spectrier: :Flutter Mane: :Dragapult:
I'm not really familiar with balanced ghost so i did my best.
I try to keep the pivoting aspect of the request.
Not gonna lie, i'm less sure about the viability of this team but i hope you like it o/ .

:Pecharunt: -> good physical wall with pivot, i think nasty plot is decent too
:Basculegion: -> in general ghost play a grass type for ground match up but they are passive and can't pivot so i choose Basculeigon instead
:Gholdengo: -> sample set, with balloon because we need a ground immunity
:Spectrier: -> In the V1 i try scarf mimikyu but i think spectrier is just a better Pokemon
:Flutter Mane: -> sample set
:Dragapult: -> hex pult is really cool in a lot of match up like fly ground or dragon, i really like this set

I don't like writing long text so I'll stop there but if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me on discord or showdown.

First of all my apologies for this taking so long, completely forgot about it. Hope you've had a happy holiday, and this doesn't disappoint you too much TheWyvernKing! https://pokepast.es/70b9d6c804f78094
:landorus-therian: :corviknight: :tornadus-therian: :enamorus: :skarmory: :zapdos:
:landorus-therian: Ah yes, band landoT. This was the main request and I honestly had no idea where to go with it, so pivot, eq, something to hit things eq doesn't hit and rocks
:corviknight: :tornadus-therian: these 2 form a fairly typical specially defensive core for flying, it's a type I aren't used to so I didnt want to stray far from standard builds
:enamorus: I went with boots mixed enamorus over scarf here, which might seem a weird choice. It's ability to break steel and hugely help vs dragon is always appreciated, but as a loser steel is tougher for me with scarf enam.
:skarmory: double steel birds was the more successful out of two variants of this team I tried, so I stuck with spikes/whirl skarm over foregoing one for iron defense.
:zapdos: I didn't know what direction to go in and parahax is nice. Another reasonably bulky mon to complete the core and give it some variety with electric stab.
(Will add replays if I find any good ones)

Meowdy metagross does architectu, Chien-Pao is a bit late this time but I hope you will enjoy the team!

The request was Metagross in an HO or Balance team. Well, this is a balance team. I’ll drop in an HO at the end but the issue with meta is that Iron Crown is the better Setup Steel, while Gross isnt able to setup screens as efficiently unlike Deo
:metagross: :slowbro: :hatterene: :hoopa-unbound: :latios: :iron-boulder:

:metagross: Is your entry hazard setter and your one-time Ghost check. The given EV spread outspeeds Adamant Azumarill, survives +2 Shadow Ball from Spectrier and pretty much any Specs Shadow Ball from any Ghost-type to Knock them off (and kill almost all of them after Stealth Rock damage)

:slowbro: Iron Defense lets Slowbro check annoying threats like DD Gouging Fire and SD Gliscor in a pinch. Eject Button is preferred for its ability to let Slowbro safely pivot in Hoopa-U or Latios while turning it into a Poltergeist check too.

:hatterene: Kebia Berry is mainly for Choice Specs Greninja and Gunk Shot Choice Scarf Hoopa-U, which mercilessly beats up the team due to its relatively low speed. The given EV spread lets it OHKO Dragapult after Stealth Rocks with +1 Draining Kiss and outspeeds Toxapex. Nuzzle lets you annoy a Dark-type or general Choice Scarf users to enable its team mates to sweep later.

:hoopa-unbound: Choice Scarf makes quick work of Flutter Mane, Spectrier, and Ogerpon forms which are lethal for Psychic teams. Hyperspace Fury is chosen as you bypass Substitute and will not be dampened by Knock Off.

:latios: Fairly standard nuke, Choice Specs is still its handiest set.

:iron-boulder: Is using a Swords Dance set primarily due to I stuck an Air Balloon on it, which is amazing as it takes advantage of choice-locked threats like Landorus or Excadrill. Close Combat is great as it outspeeds Choice Specs Greninja and Choice Band Meowscarada. Earthquake pairs well with Mighty Cleave and Close Combat, dealing heavy damage onto Gholdengo specifically. If you feel that you dont need one of CC or Earthquake, Taunt is the move to slot in to prevent Skarmory and Toxapex from messing with it.

Here's an HO containing Metagross. However, Metagross is outclassed by Iron Crown in this regard. I hope you have fun and enjoy the team(s).

Hi Art von Delay happy surprise gift, a little late but sure. You asked for a team based on Deoxys Bulk and I got it for you. I thought Psychic couldn't work, but it was fun to build based on XYZ's team. I had excellent results reaching 1650.

The team:
https://pokepast.es/c0332d0cc0f9ee2f

Dragon: I had excellent battles against dragon, where I was able to win by 70%. However, Roaring Moon can make it difficult to dragapult. Slowking-g's Toxic Spikes are key to weakening Roaring and sweeping with Deoxys. If it's not roaring, the battle becomes more accessible to win.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2271215714-278qqq65wtv5keuzozh0rzlxhg3g6pepw

Flying: Deoxys can have incredible results and sweep with the classic flying team. The only drawback is toxic Gliscor but if it is based on the SD set it is accessible to win. If it is equipped with haze, or mandibuzz it becomes super difficult to sweep or win.

Fire: The Iron Boulder Scarf gets incredible results in this fight. Even the help of latios, like deoxys. However, Incineroar and Skeledirge can make the fight difficult.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2267642323-z4xn8eqwo15zcjebxcesbqb7x9agx30pw?p2

Electric, Ice, Grass: I had excellent results against these teams. Especially electric that has no way to remove deoxys, however you have to be careful of a rotom trick. Ice to eliminate weavile or at least that there are toxic spikes. Meowscarada Plant but Iron Boulder can overcome it.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2266948810-uzfod6kvrslmb22u0ghzs6nsd204iudpw?p2 Electric

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2269332450-3ipri5b668l5053lsbvq3e99y80uuu6pw Ice

Normal, Ground: I had incredible results, you can win or lose but it depends on the gameplay of the game. The only detail about ground is quasgire galar. With toxic or mist.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2265020081-zooqg8ifup7risfa4jtey0siw6ygwoxpw here i got to 1580 terrain.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2264386779-ol0kkyonxtc22sbweimqf2bvxtx62p6pw?p2

Bug: Iron Boulder got amazing results even with Deoxys. However, being a weakness, it can make combat difficult, especially Lokix

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2269315720-znx4o10d2p20bgk0vnoamvw2vc5ak6qpw?p2

Water: You can have a good fight, but Samurott H with +2 for SD, can sweep, so it is always good to keep pressure with Hatterene and Latios.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2264846637-5fi2zsefcqesimj30gbsvzi15y7442mpw

Poison, Fighting: I had good results with Fighting, and with poison I eliminated Alolan Muk. I used Latios.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2265406758-ak2q6qfkhn2d15023689v9quse8je0ipw 1691 with poison.

Fairy: I had good results, nobody expects Slowking's Toxic Spikes. And Deoxys can block. Overall, you get good matchups.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2265899622-xcdcplr9ah21pmnd86dojxkgwqsab01pw?p2 I got to 1643.

Ghost: Starts with a band but then switches to a Hoopa Scarf. For flutter. The big problem is a Ceruledge SD+2 can sweep. A spectral scarf, if possible

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2269341218-zgto20sozipwhtduewxzw1nhmx71pejpw

Psychic: You can have good results. I played against an amazing player, and I was able to have a good result.

Steel, Dark: The team has serious problems with these matchups and often loses.

Overall the team is solid and you can get amazing games. The worst matchups are Steel and Dark. But other than that, you can have fun, and you will surely enjoy seeing the potential of the energy store. Sorry for the lateness and happy secret gift!!

Manan999

Happy New Years, here's your team.
:muk-alola: :sneasler: :weezing-galar: :slowking-galar: :iron moth: :okidogi:

To start off, teambuilding was pretty constrained due to the desires you placed (a BO/Offensive Poison that used all normally viable mons), which prevented me from exploring more niche options like Gengar who could have synergized well.

The team is pretty mainstream with Scarf :sneasler: as your revenging option and important option into faster threats. The biggest change I made on this team was striking out the common third defender (Amoon/Clod/Pex) for a wincon in the form of :okidogi:. I kept the mandatory defensive parts since poison is a type that heavily relies on its defense to wall out important threats. There's a great synergy between :slowking-galar: and :sneasler: in the form of FSight + CC. You can run chilly reception on :slowking-galar:, however, be wary of Kyurem and Sub Hoopa-U. I chose to run EQ to help break some CM subs and surprise other G-Kings, Goodra-Hisui, and importantly Heatran.

The plan of the team is to apply pressure with the beforementioned offensive combo, which is only resisted by Gholdengo. Then, you can clean up the game by finding a good opportunity to set-up with :iron moth: or :okidogi:. Each has its own MUs where they shine., most notably :okidogi: against Dark. Due to psychic lacking a resist to fire aside from sacking Iron Boulder or a lot of HP on Latios, :iron Moth: is extremely effective against Psychic if it gets a chance to set up as shown below in the replays.

Overall, I think the team is decently viable, however, Poison is better off in general sticking to its defensive roots. However, this team does have a better-than average dark MU and can help give a more pressure-oriented (rather than reactive) approach to the lesser-used type.

Thanks for Seo. and Silveruby letting me test the team against them. Replays are linked below.

Hey KniY here's your Hydreigon BO.

https://pokepast.es/6197e7c50a8b307d

This one made it to 1200 Elo, sorry bout that, will try to raise it tomorrow as well, but y'know short on time. The reason this team is so low is because I've been working on the team I made at the beginning of the SS, but for now let me explain how this team works.

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
- Dragon Dance

Here to take care of things like Iron Valiant and more recently Barraskewda that are more frail defensively. With multiscale you can get a free DD and wreak havoc (mostly revenge killing). Earthquake is some good coverage.

Kyurem @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Freeze-Dry
- Focus Blast

On the first team I had a lot of trouble with Ground types, so I decided to fully dedicate a mon to defeating them, Kyurem. With Max speed and specs SpAtk will destroy most of the Ground mons (except Exadrill... But don't worry, something's coming up. Kinda.)

Hydreigon @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Dragon Pulse

The leader of the Squad, Hydreigon. Dodges all Ground moves and can recover from their other moves with Lefties. Sub + NP truly is NASTY...

Dragapult @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Phantom Force
- Will-O-Wisp
- U-turn

Takes care of many revenge killers, can stop Sucker Punches with WOW and weaken the opponent. A fast U-turn and Dragon Darts that do over half when Super Effective. Infiltrator ignores Screens and Subs. I find the damage somewhat lacking after using CB in the first team, but the Speed is necessary against Excadrill and other weather abusing fast mons.

Gouging Fire @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 156 SpD / 104 Spe
Careful Nature
- Flare Blitz / Heat Crash
- Earthquake / Dragon Claw
- Morning Sun
- Dragon Dance

Your only Fairy resist. When the opponent leads something like Ribbonbee you can start setting up a DD Sweep and even if it falls you can finish up with Dragonite. I probably prefer Flare Blitz but there is no recoil with Heat Crash with the caveat of less damage against certain does. I find Earthquakes damage somewhat lacking but it is good coverage (although Dragonite has it too...) but you could still use Dragon Claw for the raw power that STAB provides. I find Urshifu-Rapid difficult to attack with this mon.

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Fire Fang / Flamethrower / Earthquake
- Dragon Tail

I have a grudge against Scizor. It has swept me once or twice. Regardless, Earthquake is likely the better option, as I have not used Flamethrower yet (reminder that the team is currently around 1200 rn, so still needs more testing) but the Flamethrower certainly is good coverage. I haven't calc'd it yet, but it's possible Fire Fang does more damage, although I don't like the 95% accuracy. Stealth Rock and Spikes helps out the whole team and creates many guaranteed OHKOs. Dragon Tail to stop sweepers (misses sometimes though >:{ ) who use things like DD, Shell Smash, etc. along with spreading the hazard damage!

I really rushed this team but I'm hoping it fixed the problems on the other team, which I'll also link. I got it to 1370 on my account sephir0t.

Main one I used: https://pokepast.es/a6bb423d12e65e62

No explanations on these rn cuz I'm tired. Sorry for being a bit late. Thanks for your help Neko and everyone in Monotype room!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Crystal Vince Apologies for taking this long to finish the team but here it is: https://pokepast.es/cd1cdd96838a1b2c

ezgif-6-29a27c07a3.png
Gliscor ~ Protect with Toxic Orb is very important for scouting any choiced-locked Pokémon so it's easier to make the appropriate switches. Toxic allows Gliscor to stall out threats. Earthquake is a strong stab move and when paired with Toxic and Knock Off, allows for it to be hard to switch in on and stay in on. Very good for the tough matchups like grass and water. Overall a very annoying Pokémon to deal with and pairs well with the next two defensive Pokemon on this team.

423.png
Gastrodon ~ One of the two water immunities on this team and is the designated Stealth Rock setter. This Pokémon is a good check on water type threats like Barraskewda and a cool ice move switch in. Ice Beam is a good move that helps out with the flying, ground, and dragon matchup. Earth Power can chunk down a lot of Pokémon with ease. Max defense is run to better check water type threats. Really important for the water, ice, and ground matchup.

clodsire_sprite_by_retronc_dg5wxd9-fullview.png
Clodsire ~ The other water immunity on this team This Pokémon's amazing special bulk is what makes it this teams specially defensive tank. Haze allows Clodsire to phase out set up sweepers. Poison Jab can spread poison and do great damage to pesky grass and fairy types. Spikes are used on this team to make switching in and out tougher for the opponent, although this can be replaced for Toxic Spikes or Earthquake. Important for the water, grass, and fairy matchup.

FkreeoUXkBwHWio-removebg-preview.png
Great Tusk ~ Choice Scarf Great Tusk is a powerful wallbreaker. Close Combat and Headlong Rush are deadly stab options that easily pick up OHKOes. Ice Spinner is amazing for the flying, dragon, and grass matchup which ground often find itself struggling against. Knock Off is great utility and can remove items that Pokémon would prefer not losing like Heavy Duty Boots and Recovery items.

ezgif-2-c3c9cd29c2.png
Garchomp ~ This mixed Garchomp set catches a lot of teams off guard and can pick up so many OHKOes. Life Orb paired with Fire Blast and Earthquake makes the steel and dragon matchup sooo much easier. The unpredictability of this set makes switching in very difficult. Scale shot makes Garchomp an even bigger threat as it pick ups speed. Draco Meteor wrecks physical walls that would typically wall Garchomp.

ezgif-2-914811f73f.png
Mamoswine ~ Mamoswine's power and STAB coverage make switch-ins a pain. Ice Shard can pick off weakened Pokémon. Icicle Crash shreds any Pokémon that don't resist ice type. Earthquake is self explanatory. Knock Off weakens any Pokémon that are reliant on their items and creates progress against defensive teams.

Meowdy, this is a special delivery for Silveruby! Your secret santa is supposed to be Jacaroe, but since they dont seem to be on at all, I am going to assume they wont be doing it anymore :(

:greninja: Anyway, you requested for LO Battle Bond Greninja. For starters, the first thing to consider is what would BB Gren do thats not outclassed by Scarf Gren or Specs Gren. In the few days I used to think about it, it mainly boils down to the Dragon matchup. Low Kick breaks Hisuian Goodra which otherwise effortlessly walls the other two sets. With Battle Bond Gren outspeeding Choice Scarf Roaring Moon and Latias, it will clean up Dragon late game assuming Gouger is chipped and Scarf Pult/Raging Bolt doesnt exist on the opposing team. Aside from this matchup though, BB Gren is still doing Scarf Gren things for most part, cleaning up Ground, Flying, and Ghost teams late game if you can get the opening to kill something (happens more than expected since they will usually sack something to get their Gren check safely). While Hydro Pump’s accuracy is awful, it is needed to break through Spdef Corviknight and outright OHKO Flutter Mane after a BB boost. Hydro Pump is also at least as strong as its weaker Protean STABs like Extrasensory, which means you’ll expect it to hit a little harder than that move after the boost, assuming your opponent is weak to Psychic and not resistant to Water (i.e. Toxapex)
:pelipper: As BB Gren has only one shot of winning the game, a rain team is preferred to wear down opposing teams to get that juicy sweep. Ice Beam is wanted since Greninja cannot click Ice Beam too early to beat something like Landorus (because then your boost will be wasted). Otherwise, typical Peli.
:ogerpon-wellspring: As mentioned, we try to save Greninja for the end so we need to have a hard hitter that can wear down oppoing teams. Ogerpon-W fits the bill as it was a win condition on its own, beats Primarina, outspeeds Landorus and can touch Clodsire. Power Whip can be used to kill the Toxapex and Clodsire, but on testing it always missed. Play Rough is here to eliminate Dragonite which carries Thunder Punch so Peli cant Ice Beam it, but you can use Superpower if you want Archaludon dead. Take note BB Gren takes out Archaludon (using Dark Pulse) and the entire steel team if it gets a kill tho.
:barraskewda: Standard fish for rainy purposes. Jolly nature because Flutter Mane is evil and deserves death.
:toxapex: I hate this mon but this solves so much issues for the team. It provides one time pivoting, a thing you can throw vs pretty much anything even though it just stands there and does nothing. Toxic can be used over Poison Jab or Infestation, if you want a better Gouger matchup, I find the sheer residual damage in fishing for Poison + Infestation damage be better though. Mixed Pex lets it handle Archaludon, Flutter Mane, and non-Choice Iron Valiant while still being ok into Meowscarada and Zamazenta.
:swampert: Is standard. Earth Power is used to surprise Archaludon, as the team can quickly find itself getting annoyed with it. Roar can be Yawn if you wanna create more setup opportunities with Oger or Gren and keep rocks up in the Flying matchup, but I got trauma from Fraolain and never using Yawn Pert for like…a long time.
Here are some replays to help visualize what happens. I hope you like the team! :blobnom:
:latias: (Dragon)
:zamazenta: (Fighting) Take note that Scarf Gren with Essense also won the game without me worrying about Hydro miss
:dragonite: (Flying) This is where Toxic Pex would probably be better

Hey, ur french Santa is here (late but here !) Alisyem

https://pokepast.es/7fcf66e589ee9d58 - the team

LIke u want the team is build arround greninja battle bond. U have many option to play this set, I decide to go with an expert belt set to focus on the ability of gren to sweep a team and abuse of his good coverage. Life orb or hdb can be consider too, depend of what u feel the most.

Meowscarada is the scarf of the team, mainly cuz gren will not be the scarf here. No koff, I think play rough is necessary here for the fighting mu

Like it's winter I complete the offensive core with a weavile band. Not easy to play but his ability to create hole in the opposite team are really important, focus punch is mainly here to catch archaludon in dragon who are usually the best weavile switch in. Out of that u will mainly spam koff to remove rh or lefto from the psysical answer like toxapex/skarmory/archaludon/corviknight/etc

Now it's the turn to the immortal beast (ting lu), nothing really interresting to say. No whirwind here, I value more ruination. Mainly because u will play him like a suicid lead in a majority of mu (but that's a good option)

Sableye is mandatory as long as u don't want to lose against all the scarf fight mon + body press user + gouging fire + etc. I play twave over wow here, feel like it will helps weavile to do his job well and also can help gren to set up easely

FInally, I decide to add muk-a for not losing against flutter mane and enam-i t1 but also to manage better all the dragon tios/pult/3rd special mon.

Dark is really hard to handle in this meta I think, lof of potential but also lot of problem. Imo u have to be offensive, it's like that dark show all of his quality. That's mainly the reason of why I don't play black sludge on muk-a, I prefer value double switch than a safe stay in who can let the momentum to ur opponent.

I hope u will enjoy ur team ! Don't hesitate to ping me in discord if u want some change or things like that

Merry belated Christmas Cielau !! :quagchamppogsire:
ik we are wayyy past the deadline and it's literally the middle of the 2nd week of Jan but nevertheless your Steel team featuring Shiny Jirachi has finally arrived!!
:Jirachi: :gholdengo: :iron treads: :archaludon: :corviknight: :heatran:
Mirror Coat Archa Version: :jirachi: :iron treads: :heatran: :archaludon: :corviknight: :gholdengo:
Screens Version w SD Scizor: :iron treads: :jirachi: :scizor: :heatran: :corviknight: :gholdengo:

Ok to start things of I surmised that Jirachi would work great in a Balance team as a fast-pivot of sorts...so I went rummaging through my builder looking for Steel Balance teams and put together a team that could potentially work well with a Jirachi that utilises ground immunity, paralysis with max speed, oh and also slapped wish on it so it can provide recovery to its teammates.
:iron treads:so treads is your main breaker here...I picked treads over reva, excadril because of the immediate power, speed and access to much needed coverages like knock, ice spinner and supercell slam. Band boosted SupSlam hits really hard and is your main way of dealing with flying types (2hkoing the likes of skarm, rotom-wash upon switch-in). Even though treads got a good enough speed tier You still need twave support from rachi, archa to cripple faster threats like ogerpons, cinderace, sneasler, darkrai, horoark and so on.
:heatran: tran is the scarf of the team. Overheat offers a powerful wallbreaking option. Power gem couldn't deal well with volcarona at +2 Spd so I just got rid of it altogether but u can choose to run it over Overheat.
:archaludon: Archaludon acts as the rocker and secondary para spreader. Tbolt+IcBeam consistently hits steel birds dragon types consistently and and you dont have to worry about SpA drop from meteor. Mirror Coat archa's hilariously fun too as you get to punish specs and setup sweepers like Flutter mane, Iron moth, spectrier, pecharunt etc but this set turned out to be a setup fodder for threats like volcarona, ghold, DD and Bulk Up sweepers so I preferred to put the former set on the team.

The ideal approach of playing with this team would be to gradually wear opposing mons down to 1hko range of the Central Offensive core of all the while keeping your side of the field clear off all sorts of hazards and screens with Corv's defog. Other members of the team got decent bulk and typing so they complement each other well, You have enough pivoting options that would provide Tran and Treads with free switch-ins. So the rest of the team serves as defensive-checks to various threats and Ghold serves to switch into absorb statuses with ease and become a unlikely wincon in lategame thanks to NPlot.

Q: Common threats:
-
Fire types :") like :ogerpon hearthflame: :cinderace: :volcarona: :volcanion: dd sweepers and BU+spin sweepers like :gouging fire: :great tusk: and :ursaluna::iron hands: :clodsire: (wont admit clod to be a massive threat like the others on this list. It's just hard to deal with (esp the Gweezing+Clod core) since you cant slow pivot out to treads to handle it, luckily treads survives a Equake from its uninvested atk so you just play around it or pressure with corvs BBird till it eventually runs out of recovery)

Apologies for the delay and hope you enjoy piloting this team just as much as I've enjoyed making it..Merry Christmas!!
