Welcome to the Monotype Sets Compendium. This resource aims to provide newer players with an in-depth collection of the most optimal sets for Pokemon that are considered to be viable in the current metagame, We hope this resource will be able to enhance your building skills. The content of the pastes will update regularly once viable sets and pokemons arises.

important note: There might be some weird looking HP values and Speed Benchmarks at first sight so i will explain what those are about

HP:

For Leftovers numbers generally you want to hit a number divisible by 16+1 if possible, if not possible a number divisible by 16 is second best, if none of the above is not possible just keep it an ODD number so the mon wont be KOed by Sthealth Rocks or Spikes, IE: Great Tusk 248 HP will hit a number divisible by 16+1 so thats the best value for them, Corviknight however max HP will be 400 which is a number divisible by 16 so that will be the second best scenario, Gliscor however wants a number divisible by 4 for the best recovery from Poison Heal so 244 HPs is best.

Speed Benchmarks:

SpeedOutspeeds
137Uninvested base 50 Speed
141Uninvested Ursaluna-Bloodmoon
171Uninvested base 65 Speed and uninvested Corviknight
200Invested base 50 Speed with non-Speed-boosting natures
211Invested Crawdaunt & up to uninvested base 87 Speed
220Max Speed base 50s
230Max Speed Crawdaunt and invested base 65 Speed
241Invested base 70 Speed and Magnezone
263Invested base 80 Speed & max Speed base 70s
285Base 80 max Speed and Basculegion formes
301Base 87 max Speed
325Max Speed Hydreigon
351Max Speed base 110 Speed
365Max Speed Iron Valiant
378Max Speed Greninja

Will yall be doing an update to the set comps? Since the Dlc drop and I see mons like Archaludon, Gouging Fire, etc. not on there so Im just getting yall a heads up so the new players don;t be confused. Other than that yall doing great keep it up! :D

cpt.kraken

I COULD BE BANNED!
It seems to have been a bit rushed... Shed tail is ban, some sets are weird (scarf hpump dpult or jolly dd dnite tpunch eq) while more regular ones do not appear (like ada dd, espeed, eq, filler dnite). Not mentionning best sets of Raging Bolt are with leftovers or heavy duty boots is weird.
Also Latios soul dew and choice should be separated as soul dew can set up or heal
On ena scarf, if you slash something it's not superpower for epower but mystical fire for superpower. Epower is too important for poison and steel mons. Val physical hdb / lo don't run spirit break but koff/ssneak, zhead, cc/dpunch and mixed want a physical fighting move. No mention of hatterene nuzzle.

For general visibility put a space between 2 sets, especially between 2 different mons so it will be easier to read it

I'm agreeing with Cpt here, Boomp. This does seem a bit rushed from ya.
I've stuck to my type of Poison and done additions and retractions that I believe needed to happen. (Using the original pokepaste)
https://pokepast.es/0f999c2e906ece59

Additions:
- :Pecharunt: and :Tentacruel: as they have been added to the VR
- :Muk-Alola: EV spreads updated to include the 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD spread along side the 248 HP / 240 SpD / 20 Spe spread.
- :Toxapex: was split into Boots (Surf as the main offense) and Helmet (Infestation Trapper) Sets
- :Iron Moth: split into Choice Scarf and Choice Specs (Scarf prefers U-turn while Specs prefers Overheat)
- :Okidogi: Choice Scarf set added (Its a sample)
- :Salazzle: gained defensive corrosion (Not sure why it was just the offensive set)
- :Sneasler: unburden set updated (Throat chop in slot 3 and Acro/Dire for slot 4)
- :Gengar: Choice Specs (Its a sample as well)
Retractions:
- :Weezing: and :Munkidori: as they are no longer on the VR
- :Weezing-Galar: Second EV Spread (In this meta, you need that bulk.)
- :Glimmora: Choice Specs removed (Scarf is already not the best, and specs is too slow in my opinion)
- :Okidogi: Condensed bulk up sets into one (Both sets are basically the same so simpler)
- :Clodsire: Removed mixed bulk set (there are far better walls for mixed if you want them)
Other:
- Pokemon are now sorted by how they are on the Viability Ranking. (So :Muk-Alola: first, :Weezing-Galar: second, :Toxapex: third and so on.)
- Fixed spelling and spacing mistakes in the original (no more Cgoice Specs for Iron Moth)
- Added Tournament medals
- Updated the localization files

Implemented ty my fellow rock nation member! added b press on coal, You want to deal with gambit and pao respectfully in the 1v1 + nice on a predicted heatran switch. Specs on glimmora as well, rock sample team has Specs Glimmora. Took off Counter as an option next to fire punch on Rhyperior. You never want to opt out of Fire punch due to Scizor being a problem. everything else i kept ty and well done <3

Sorry for my question, but wouldn’t also be a good idea to include a pivot galarian slowking moveset?

Heyy dont apologize for asking questions i encourage people to talk! IMO I feel like you wouldnt want to pivot on poison especially not with chilly reception, Pao and friends are already a problem for poison so just adding snow for them is just making your match way more harder. Glowking also just like av to be able to tank more special hits for the team like CM Raging Bolt, Latias and hey even lando-i and just revenge kill it with ice beam. If you have a set in mind please share it with me :D In my opinion as well poison is already a slow defensive typing/playstyle pivoting is its least concern.

It likely would, but I am not a user of Pivot Glowking. And there has never been a demand for a sample set for it.
And on Poison, there really isn't a need for a Slow bulky pivot as much. You've already got several otherwalls with Regenerator most likely in Toxapex and Amoonguss and you would either be switching Glowking into them or into one of the immunities like AMuk or Geezing which gives Chilly reception less value in my eyes.
Now I know I'm saying this when Pecharunt is also in the sample sets but Pecharunt's pivoting tool is vastly superior and its speed stat is somewhat reasonable being able to weaken stuff like defensive Heatran, Shell Smash Torterra (even without speed investment you are 1 point faster than the 252 Adamant turtle) along with forcing Hatterene to switch out if it gets a few too many boosts for AMuk to comfortably handle.
All Glowking does is set Snow so Baxcalibur can live Close Combat.
