Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

There is no known means of accessing the RNG that early in the game, so you can't verify and the game won't let you in the tall grass without a pokémon, so you can't reliably advance. There are also NPCs (I think) in New Bark Town, making the frame unpredictable. To be honest, all the starters are breedable, so I would suggest just RNG breeding the starter you want.

Not at all correct. The game always assumes the seed for the pokewalker is zero, because the pokewalker seed is taken when the game first begins to load. All you have to do is worry about the game starting to load at the correct second.

On another note, I've been trying to get the 29/30/30/x/30/1 Brave Boomlax. I've tried it twice so far and seemed to have gotten the right IVs but got Pickup as the ability. I read that it's possible that the ability is linked to the ID/SID, so if that's true, is there no way to possibly change the ability? Or am I possibly stuck with Pickup?

your stuck with it, so no matter how many times you try and get a brave munchlax, it will always have pick up
 
I have a question about the Pikatimer. I didn't hit my delay once and I adjusted it using the "Other delay" feature. But while doing so, the seconds changed. I had 50, but then it became 52. My target frame was 719. Why did the seconds change? Because my Target time has 50 seconds, and If it changes I don't know how to get around to hitting my delay. Sorry if this was explained before.

The other delay features only change your second timer's seconds and won't change the first timer's and I think that's why you cannot get your target time.
Whenever you use the other delay feature, change the time at the first timer until first timer+second timer = 50 and it should be all set.

I hope this explains it.
 
Is there any other reason then your time or date being wrong that seed finder would say your time or date is wrong? Cause I know mine is right, but it says that.
 
Does anyone know what the starting frame for the Union Cave Lapras is?

EDIT: It has a starting frame of 1. And Lapras moving adds to your frame by 1.
 
Hey I'm just checking to see if the encounter slot for Trophy Garden is still 6 or if anyone has managed to use 7 as well.

Can someone explain to me a simplier way if my frame will produce a pokemon with the nature I want?

thanks but yellow forest is tricky and i needed more information because when I rng for a surfchu, the pikachu end up being a volt tackle pickachu
 
My guess for your first question would be say you're on the Winner's Path course; If you're after Beldum or Munchlax, before RNG abusing, make sure you've already walked the amount of steps needed to encounter them (i.e. 8000+ steps).

As for your 2nd question, I'm basically wondering about the same thing and no one's been able to reply as of yet (after all it is Friday night/Saturday morning). So I guess we'll have to wait.
 
Im currently rnging for a shiny Sudowoodo. I hit the right delay thanks to pika timer but i didnt get what i was looking for. Im not sure if the problem's coming from my SID being wrong or if there's an npc on that route that messed up my frame.

Btw, what does the frame generate while youre trying to rng something?

I don't think there are any NPC's... Which channel are you using to advance the frame?
 
I've a question. I want to catch a Magikarp, but I'm not sure if it will give a "not even a nibble" message. The magikarp I want to catch should have this spread: Jolly/31/31/29/10/29/31. My seed is A904027B and my frame 146. I know there is a guide about fishing in this thread, but I don't understand this bit:

First, since you can't sweet scent you have to determine if you are going to catch something at all for a particular frame. To do this, make a note of your method J frame and then locate the this frame - 3 in a method 1 list. Take the last 4 digits of the PID on this method 1 frame and convert it from hexadecimal to decimal.

The RNG Reporter finds that in the "Calculate Encounter Slots" option. I did it for your seed and in Method J you get a Pokémon with every kind of rod on that frame. Hope I helped^^

well you might trigger the 128 steps advancements, which will advance the frames by the number of pokemon in your party or randomly other than that not much else can go wrong.
