Yea. Save in front of it like every other legend. There is 2 problems though.
1. There may be NPCs moving that will affect you.
2. I am not sure if it is method 1 or method J, just do a test yourself quickly.

In RNG reporter, plug in your Seed and just click generate, on the bottom of the window should be a list of ten flips
eg. T,H,H,H,T,H,H,H,T,T
insert your seed to rng reporter then selct breeding DPPT normal and a list will come out
the 1st 10 heads and tails yada yada will be the ones you will need :)

Less vague please. Is the RNG Reporter itself not returning any flips? Or are you not able to match the flips in your game?
You are probably running an previous version of RNG reporter and have not got the latest version. You should. You can also get this list of coin flips from changing the generate list from method J or whatever to DPPT Egg PID (normal) and generate the list. Frame 1 will have either H or T in a column. That is the first flip, then 2nd frame is the 2nd, and so on.
I think in the newer version it has an option to show adjacent now. Either get the new one, or you have to do it manually. You have to get the seed for the delays +-2,4,6 from it.
If you run from the Darkrai battle, you can return to Canalave, get your party/items/etc. in order, then go back into the Inn. Darkrai will be there again.
No not really. People can do this simple thing for themselves. Also, some routes may have NPCs outside the route affecting them still. Like in route 207, wherever lavitar is, that route is empty but the NPCs in the city still affect it.
Are you sure about this? So I'd do everything as if it were a stationary legend?
P.S. Why do all the good easy spreads favor females? Haha, just an observation.

It's the same. That is why calibration is in the section titled "common information for breeding and capturing..."

Legends are easier then doing perfect IVs for eggs. You still have to hit delay and time for your seed, which you CAN use the same delay and seconds. All that differs in hitting the frames and the starting frame. It normally starts at 1, but for some like mesprit and the 3 birds don't.
I am trying to get a Milotic with the special set, frame 43, [the VGC shiny event Milo], but the Reporter keeps saying my date and time are invalid. Which they aren't as it's the exact date and time I did the reset but hey.
It takes my Lite 16-17 seconds to reset & I am in Oreburgh Pokemart.. can anyone tell me how to actually get the good IVs since this thing is raging at me?? Like all I need is a time or something and I am good since I can't get my initial seed.

Are you trying to use the Milotic to find your initial seed? If so, this will not work. You will need to go and catch something. Or use the adjacents finder in the Seed->Time dialog to find out what you actually hit.
