I found a spread I want in the list of good special spreads, but the frame number is not going to be correct because it is a method J pokemon, not method 1. I put the seed into the generator and found the spread through method 1, but when I changed it to method J, the spread no longer appeared. Any advice?

It is one of the rare cases where it doesn't appear in method J. If you don't have it with a syncher, try using one. If you do and it doesn't show up, there is no way you can get that spread no a method J pokemon.

I've gotten a few good Pokémon thanks to this, but I've been picking the ones that don't need high amounts of frame advancement. But this spread I wanted had a frame of 77, so it was the only to go for.
So would I be right in thinking that once I have the right seed, walk 128 steps with 5 Pokémon in my party, followed by flipping to a page in the journal which says "TENTACOOL CAPTURED" (or something like that) 35 times, then finding a battle inside the Old Chateau should get me to 77, since a battle in the Old Chateau adds 1 and I have one wandering Pokémon. (Which would be 5+70+1+1, I think.)
Am I on the right lines, or completely off. As I say, when the frames are low, I've managed to do it, but I can't seem to advance the frames correctly. If I flip to a journal page with the right thing on, then flip away, that would be 2 frames, wouldn't it?

The formula is Target Frame - Monster Frame - Number of Wandering Pokemon (for wild RNG captures). It is advised you use a Sweet Scenter or this will be VERY frustrating.
In your case: 77 - 2 (all sweet scented Pokemon have a monster frame of 2) - 1 = 74. 74/2 = 37.
So as soon as you hit your seed in the Old Chateau, do 37 journal flips then immediately Sweet Scent and you'll land on frame 77.
Yes, if you flip to a page with a caught/defeated Pokemon, then flip back to a page without a message like that, that is 2 RNG advancements.

My delay seems to never switch even, when my AR or GBA game is in the slot is there something that I can do to fix this or am I just stuck with an even frame? I have tested with just pearl, then pearl with gba, then pearl and AR and my frame remains even throughout all of the tests.
Ok so I got an egg hatched today that was the same nature and gender as the generated PID said it would be. The egg immediately following it was also correct in comparison to the PID list. However, the generator said that the first egg I hatched would hatch a shiny and it didnt. Everything else is as it said it would be except for the shiny status. whats going on?

Wichu's has a default of 595 and 735? for delay. It is suggested to type your min in and for max, type it +99, for year changing.For the next part type 0 for min and max. I would use wichu's still since it is the fastest or you can do it manually in the IVs to PID applet since it shows you the SID you need +8 higher than that.

If your delay is even and the GBA doesn't affect you, the only other possible way to change it will be re-saving. If that doesn't work, you either will always be even or it will switch randomly for no known reason.

So, when I reset on my target frame to capture Giratina (or any wild Pokemon) my journal opens to a page without a "X was caught" (It just says something about the Distortion World or whatever) before I am able to test my coin flips. Does this advance the frame at all? After I've tested my coin flips and open up the journal to begin my page flips, I have 2 pages that lie before my 2 pages with "X was caught". Does moving through these two pages (that just say something about the Distortion World) before I get the the pages I utilize advance the frame at all?

I have hatched like 20 shiny eggs already and captured a shiny Heatran using RNG abuse, so I decided to try to capture a flawless wild pokemon. I found my spread and hit the delay 15+ times with different pokemons in different locations but every single time the pokemon was not the one I wanted.
Right now I tried to capture a Machop, my target frame was 30, there weren't any roaming pokemon so I hit the delay, did 14 journal flips and used Sweet Scent, but it didn't work.
There are no walking NPCs in my screen, no weather effects and I am sure I hit the right delay, as I always do the 10 coins flips.
What am I doing wrong?

NPCs off your screen still affect you. I believe the NPCs in the town where you are near affect you stlil.
Jawshua - I have no clue. I have never tested in the distortion world to be honest.
