It's a two step process.
First step you go to Time Finder on RNG Reporter and click on the Shiny Egg tab. Enter in all the info and check the HGSS Shiny Egg box. Once you hit that seed, deposit the parents into the daycare and advance to the target frame. I suggest you find one that has a frame 1 because that way you don't need to do anything else. Now walk around until an egg is generated and save in front of the day care man while he's holding it. Pick up the egg and hatch it to confirm it's shiny. If it is, you can now turn your game off and look for another seed.
Since you now have the shiny egg, you go to the Egg IVs tab and insert all the info. Make sure to check off the HGSS Inheritance box. So now you insert all the IVs you want and the parents IVs. Parent A is the first parent you put in the daycare and Parent B is the second. If you're using a flawless ditto, just insert all 31's for whatever parent it is and leave the other blank. You don't need to know that other parent's IVs so just leave it blank. Now hit your seed and advance to the right frame. If your target frame is 7, you make 6 calls and pick it up. However, sometimes the NPC around the area makes you start on frame 3 meaning the first 2 calls will be skipped, meaning you'll only have to make 4 calls.

Either way, you just start the timer at the same time you start the DS clock. Soft reset at the end of the first timer and hit A on the continue screen at the end of the second.
Wait, is the aim to hit A on the continue screen as the second timer hits 0, or is it for the journal to load (from the black screen) when the second timer hits 0?
Because the former is A LOT easier than the latter, and I was under the impression it was the latter. (RNG'd only shiny raikou and entei so far and it took longer than I wished it had.)
It is the former. The calibration takes care of the rest since any load time before seeding is constant.

You'll get the IVs just not the shiny part. Unless if it's already shiny.
If you (and anyone else) haven't updated yet, do it now. If you're still on PokéRNG DP, the newest version has a GUI; even if you updated a while back, the newest version is much faster (see the comments in the last page or two) :P
Plattinum...calibrated second is the one that comes out from calibration? the time that gets me to press continue? and the target second is the one of the seed's time?
Just use 600 for the calibrated delay and 14 for the calibrated seconds. You'll get close with these settings. After that, just update with what you did hit and the timer will calibrate itself. The target ones are what you're trying to hit.
hey i am trying to rng a mewtwo in hgss I already hit my seed. the spread i want to use has a frame of 87 since mewtwo is a stationary legend does talking to him advance the frame any? i hit my seed once and advanced the frame to 87 and when i talked to him i got the frame 88 spread.

Well I finally hit my delay with the RNG Shiny Egg after 9 hours.. then I put my 2 pokes in the daycare, and then went up and down Goldenrod City until the daycare man had an egg. Once he got the egg, I saved before I took it from him. Then I took it, and hatched it.. and it wasn't shiny. I checked everything.. so I don't know what I did wrong..
You have to hit the delay, do the Joey calls to advance the "egg frames" and eposit the parents - or the other ways around, then you bike around, save im front of the Day care man and collect the egg. you may have to reject the 1st egg or not, depending on the egg frame.
You would not know by calling Joey! You didn't say that the egg was on frame one already, so I guessed "maybe he forgot to call Joey to advance the egg-frames". Forget I ever said anything about Joey. RNG reporter asks for 9 elm calls. and as I've said, I've had the sequences differ on the 7th and 8th calls before - so 5 calls would have given me a false positive.
You don't have to call Joey at all if your target frame is 1. And Joey advances the frame by 2.
You should really know if you hit your seed after 5-6 calls. But you might as well do all 9 and enter them in Search Elm to make sure.
