  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

SV: clean vs style.css - i feel like style is gonna overprep and end up getting owned by some standard whatever tbh.. only time i'm bolding clean hopefully
SV: freezai vs TTK - freezai's the goat but i think they're gonna need to get owned week 1 to really lock in and learn this tier, ttk's generally solid and it'll be a cool watch
SV: mind gaming vs yedla - yedla's sv hasn't been the best and mind is also a strong player especially w att support on their side
SV: Neko vs Tarre25 - Unless neko gets in their own head I think they've been playing well recently and will have a good tour, tarre's always solid so its a close one but edge neko
SS: Thiago Nunes vs 3d - i have no clue abt either of these dudes but nunes has better support so
SM: Attribute vs Gondra - Dependant on motivation Attribute prob farms most of this pool but we shall see
ORAS: twinkay vs fade - felines is gonna tell their team "omg i solved oras" when its only week 1 and probably end up losing to better clicking by the tour player
BW: Meta vs Sabella - Sabella had a rough start in BW last season but finished up nicely and Meta had a rough start in SV and farmed BW when he switched.. So really who knows but I think Meta will have a strong start this szn

SV: Chaitanya vs feen - why was this dude oras in prs..?
SV: Vodoom vs Floss - Vodoom aka the site's biggest yapper has something to prove against one of the best in the pool. Vod prob plays more but if Floss takes the time to prep I think hes favored.
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs Ina fable - Dieu always solid
SV: Fraolain vs Cielau - Cielau surely not gonna get exposed by frol after being the #1 french in PR's.
SS: Rinda vs schwipper - Rinda has had a tougher time in SV but his SS was always great and I'm excited for his games. Schwipper still relatively new to the scene and prob has some nerves.
SM: QWILY vs Toadow - Toadow can feel hit or miss but QWILY was the last signup in the mpl thread and probably got peer pressured whereas Toadow is coming off a ribbon and seems in great form.
ORAS: Mada vs drizzle - idrk why mada playing oras but all i know of drizzle is he won sm cup and he ain't playing that shit so experience wins ig
BW: North vs Gelbel3c - gelbel's cool but don't rly know much abt him outside of his dominance in monothreat. Should be an interesting watch but i think north is always solid.

SV: cpt.kraken vs Scarfire - scar's the better player and coming off b2b mpl/mwp wins he should be confident and take this i think
SV: maroon vs Leafium Z - Leaf aka mono's greatest upcoming ego has performed well in team tours but still has a lot to prove, maroon is always solid enough but can be predictable in the builder and I imagine scar will take advantage of that in prep.
SV: Railgun vs Sificon - i forgot to go back and give reasoning for this one.. idk, sificon preaches grass usage so im probably just a hater but we'll see!
SV: dunoks vs Elyoss - another french face-off i believe? Is this elyoss's first MPL? I'm not sure but he's a pretty cool player and with better support I think he takes this vs the UU mainer.
SS: MichaelderBeste2 vs Hurtadoo - Was not expecting hurtadoo to be playing SS and am not sure how experienced he is? That said michael's monotype experience is presumably zilch but he picked up VGC and went to finals first try so surely this is just another rung on the ladder.
SM: dahli vs DugZa - both great players, edge dahli slightly
ORAS: tier vs Dj Breloominati♬ - spitfire farms these tours for god knows what reason but it just keeps happening and who am i to say it wont again.
BW: Splash vs ikiarihS - I am so ready to watch BW shira ngl.. I thought splash usually plays ORAS? Not sure what his BW experience is and this could go either way but will edge shira

If anything I say is wrong sorry! Just my personal thoughts.

Trick House Treeckos (5) vs (3) Bell Tower Braves
SV: rs vs Xiri - Xiri is probably going to care more/be more invested.
SV: Azick vs Fírnen - Both good players, I think this will boil down to the better builder but Azick has been playing since the gen started and Firnen has recently returned after a hiatus so I want to give azick the bump but Firnen also just won cup so..really hard to say. but I'll give it to azick and will probably eat my words given how 50/50 this feels to me.
SV: Suspensse vs Mihowk - I'm not too familiar with Suspensse but I know they are good and Mihowk I'm pretty sure has dabbled in Monotype here and there, but suspensse prob plays more monotype.
SV: Larry vs avarice - Avarice is bestie but Leru has probably put up more consistent Monotype records.
SS: adjustments vs hellom - hellom is obviously very good but i think he will fumble in a non svou tier, and adjustments has been putting in the work this generation and is def way more motivated.
SM: LuckyPiper vs Tenebricite - Will be fun to see Piper play but Tenebrecite has been smashing in cups and is coming off of a lot of momentum. I know Piper is good at SM, but I'll give it to Tene since he's been playing more mons in general.
ORAS: Quinn vs Jojo8868 - The last thing I heard about Jojo was him telling me he would get me in MWP and then he cancered his own team so I dodged a bullet!! joyjoy. Tbh idk who wins this both are decent will prob give it to Jojo assuming he cares even the slightest.
BW: crashy vs Feaniix - hard to bold against crashy here.

Goldenrod Gengars (4) vs (3) Hearthome Honchkrows
SV: clean vs style.css - Will be a fun game, I think style sometimes outplays himself and if that happens clean will make it apparent he knows how to take advantage of that, but both are great players and could go either way.
SV: freezai vs TTK - Will vote for my former scl manager.
SV: mind gaming vs yedla - I haven't seen yedla play since I drafted him in MPL8 and mind gaming is a better player in general.
SV: Neko vs Tarre25 - Neko will prob win in builder, in terms of play I'm not sure whos better.
SS: Thiago Nunes vs 3d - Both good players, 3d has better support imo.
SM: Attribute vs Gondra - Highlight of the week, not bolding cuz truly I have no idea. I think the week will come down to this game.
ORAS: twinkay vs fade - Wonder why fade decided to play ORAS over SS or if his team just slotted him there cuz hes an ORAS main but hard to bold against him.
BW: Meta vs Sabella - another highlight game, the last time I watched Sabella play was like MPL8 vs Attribute and I think the game was either 1. him outplaying himself or 2. me not understanding what was going on 2 years ago but I'm going to bold him anyway since he probably likes the tier more than Meta does and set a trend last MPL with Electric (or so I've been told).

SV: Chaitanya vs feen - Feen is good but I think he's been relatively out of touch with Mono (don't quote me on this).
SV: Vodoom vs Floss - NGL I've never seen Vodoom play but hes funny so I hope he wins, though I'm giving it to Floss since he seemed relatively confident in his SV.
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs Ina fable - I haven't seen Ina play Monotype but I know they are good and I don't think they will have any trouble piloting a Monotype team, if they aren't up to date they might get knowledge checked but Dieu stocks have gone up since I've been gone
SV: Fraolain vs Cielau - Not sure but Cielau seems to play more mons than Fraolain outside of Monotype and performs well so he's prob a better player
SS: Rinda vs schwipper - Cup finalist and lost to like the best Mono player so
SM: QWILY vs Toadow - QWILY has been a mainstay in mono tours for a while but Toadow just won circuit
ORAS: Mada vs drizzle - Mada selfbought to play ORAS which I feel bad for him unless he likes the tier but he will want to prove that the selfbuy was worth it. Also had great WCOP/SPL runs.
BW: North vs Gelbel3c - Will be a good game, North just got BW Cup finals though and is more interested in the tier.

SV: Azick vs Fírnen - A more experienced SV player and builder and I liked what I saw from him last year. Dont sleep on Firnen tho everyone does.
SV: Suspensse vs Mihowk - very sleeper pick for this team has a tremendous understanding of metagame trends and is overall a good player
SV: Larry vs avarice - guy diff
SS: adjustments vs hellom - guy diff
SM: LuckyPiper vs Tenebricite - Lucky(jobless)Piper will have all the time in the world to prep and defeat his opponent

SV: Vodoom vs Floss - two talented individuals gracing the current-gen mono tier. Give a slight edge to Floss but Vodoom might just go undefeated this tour
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs Ina fable - Am hoping Dieu can win here i have faith...
SV: Fraolain vs Cielau - French vs French Ceilau more experienced
SS: Rinda vs schwipper - Rinda has better track record
SM: QWILY vs Toadow - Qwily better in SM
ORAS: Mada vs drizzle - not sure but Mada can win right

SV: mind gaming vs yedla - i really want to bold yedla but i haven't really seen much of him in sv recently, if mind gaming gets passed a solid enough team he should take this
SV: Neko vs Tarre25 - 2 people who get a little bit nervous on the battlefield but otherwise solid players. neko can build too which gives her the edge in this matchup.
SS: Thiago Nunes vs 3d - i don't really know either of these guys but despite TNunes possibly having better prep, 3d will find a win.
SM: Attribute vs Gondra - highlight matchup, the big buy of the gengars will get a dub,
ORAS: twinkay vs fade - taking an upset pick here, there is a pretty huge player diff but an early fade loss might cause some turmoil in the krows...
BW: Meta vs Sabella - another highlight matchup, i think meta + attribute working together to prep for sab is definitely enough to help get a win here, but it will be an intense and exciting game.

SV: Chaitanya vs feen - feen has supposedly been more active on smogon in general lately, but i won't underestimate chait in this matchup. taking chait.
SV: Vodoom vs Floss - vodoom wants to farm the entire pool this tour, but he has a hard road ahead facing the #1 on PR. if floss puts in the work here he should take this.
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs Ina fable - ina has had a few good showings in ssnls and cups, but dieu is a mainer and should be more knowledgeable.
SV: Fraolain vs Cielau - unfortunately i wanted to see dieu vs cielau week 1 but this will have to do, this could potentially be another highlight matchup or just a complete flop, cielau will probably be a bit lucky either way though.
SS: Rinda vs schwipper - schwipper is my bro but this isn't his week, however i do think this matchup is much closer than it appears. Rinda could potentially choke this and then never hear the end of it from chait, vod and mada.
SM: QWILY vs Toadow - the week might come down to this game for these teams, the tinkatons have better SM knowledge at their disposal in chait and vod and its as simple as that. will they be active/care enough to use that knowledge? who knows...
ORAS: Mada vs drizzle - drizzle has done well in cups but i think for his debut he faces a mismatch, mada is going to put in the work to win this.
BW: North vs Gelbel3c - my 2nd upset pick, i think people are sleeping on gelbel, he picked up some key wins last year for the melos and he's gonna pick up right where he left off.

SV: cpt.kraken vs Scarfire - this is a close one but kraken hasn't played much since becoming ICBB. after he scrapes the rust off he will pick up some wins but not this week, scarfire has been much more involved as of late.
SV: maroon vs Leafium Z - i was gonna bold against him for the clicks and hahas but i honestly think he's the better player in this matchup
SV: Railgun vs Sificon - this is kind of an upset ig but i think railgun has had fun w/ mono in the past and will be interested and motivated to learn and win.
SV: dunoks vs Elyoss - ive only seen 2 games of mono from dunoks and i wasn't impressed, Elyoss will have better prep and a better team.
SS: MichaelderBeste2 vs Hurtadoo - MDB2 might be the better overall player on paper but he has plenty of catching up to do with SS mono, le doo should take this one but i don't expect to bold against MDB2 much past this match...
SM: dahli vs DugZa - highlight matchup, could go either way but i wanted to bold someone and not the vs so im taking dahli.
ORAS: tier vs Dj Breloominati♬ - spitfire is gonna farm
BW: Splash vs ikiarihS - i don't know what splash is doing in bw, i thought he was orasing...? this is a bad gamble for him imo and it won't pay off.
