Welcome to the commencement thread for the seventh edition of the Monotype Premier League! This thread may be used for tournament discussion. Please remain respectful and courteous to others when posting in this thread. Memes are fine, but use common sense to determine which ones are appropriate.

We’re welcoming players who are new to the tournament/monotype scene, so don’t hesitate to get in touch. If that sounds like you, please send me a message along with 2 to 5 replays that highlight your skills. Looking forward to a fun season!
 
If you’re interested in joining the Mesagoza Mega Sol’s, join our discord ( https://discord.gg/HASFRWSNm ) or you can hmu on discord (winkon9944) with résumé’s and replays that show your skill set. As I’m very active and planning to solely focus on managing this time around, I’m going to try something different. I know sometimes it’s hard to get your name out in these tours, so I will be posting “resume/battle reviews”. The hope is that these will help boost viewability for newer, less experienced players to potentially get drafted. You can send resumes to my discord, teams you’ve built (all gens), along with explanations on the build process and how to pilot, as well as battles that you’ve had in tournament or from me personally or known Monotype Tour players. I will review these and post them publicly here for ALL Managers to see. My DMs are always open and I’m free for battles (all gens) from 7pm-10:30pm (GMT-4) Monday-Thursday, 7pm-11:30pm Fridays and anytime on the weekends. Let’s have a great season!

The Game Corner Gholdengos will not be holding tryouts this year but you can DM either Isza (shalisza) or myself (jahkem) on Discord and tell us why we should get you. We may or may not right away but we will read all DMs and have discussions over who to draft.

We do ask that you do not bother our server bot, style.css, as it would fry the mainframe being overloaded with more information that is already being processed.

This is Treecko season!
Hello everyone! Hello to all the spectators, the would-be Treeckos, and the losers this coming season!​

We have BIG plans to win it all. crash and I are fired up and gunning to win it this go-around, and we will both be leading the Trick House Treeckos from the frontlines for that trophy. We are hungry for the win and are determined to make this season ours.

With that said we are looking for equally self-motivated players to work with. We prize collaboration, diligence, and out-of-the-box thinking above all. We are expecting players who can work well with us and others, players who are willing to invest time into their craft and keep themselves sharp, AND to players who have creative ideas - we are looking for you. We are looking for a team that will work closely together, push each other to be better, and have fun doing so.

In the business of enjoying this season as much as we can, we will be accepting tryouts.
Maybe not tryouts in the "traditional" sense but tryouts in the Treeckos way.
Come join the server and let us know you're interesting in becoming a Treecko candidate. From the list of tryout methods listed below, please select 1 or 2 to pursue, choosing whichever you think will showcase your strengths the best and also match what we are looking for.

- a résumé from team tours and circuit tournaments where you had to play your guts out to win
- CC1v1 bo5 challenge
- BSS Factory bo3 challenge
- your top 25 anime rankings (may LuckyPiper live on in peace)
- a game of Monotype in the generation of your preference with a twist :) (ask for more info in the server)​

We will also have tournaments on the weekends where we'll watch and commentate on them in voice chat for fun! More info to come in the server.

And to all the other managers this season, I invite them all to self-buy and play alongside their fellow teammates, to risk their neck alongside them, but I understand if they'd prefer not to participate and sit back to let their players win for them. Good luck to all! But this is Treecko season!
