Rules​
  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • All players must conform to the username requirements specified here. In short, alts must be voiced on the Smogtours server, and/or closely resemble the player's Forum Name in an identifiable way.

SM: terrors vs Thanos - both are great, but predicting terrors to win this
ORAS: Greenytg vs benadryl - two underdogs in the pool, i feel like both will be great surprises, i know ben better so i'm gonna root for him
BW: Meta vs crash - my man crash is coming back to BW to crush the pool i'm feeling it

SS: ikiarihS vs maki - both are great, i feel like maki will do better tho
SM: Sabella vs kythr - i'm predicting kythr to struggle a bit for the first few weeks, so i'm bolding sabella to win
ORAS: Splash vs Tenebricite - i think Tenebricite is the better player
BW: DAHLI vs Cow - feel like Cow will outplay

SV: Tarre25 vs seraphz - tarre is more experienced in Monotype and i believe will outplay anyway

BW: Baddy vs Gelbel3c - Gelbel is more experienced but i think Baddy is the better player, i feel like Gelbel is getting the wrong call here and will end up losing despite being favored on paper

SV: Fusien vs Ethereal Sword - Glad to see Ethereal playing again, and while he's definitely someone who I expect to be more practiced in the tier I think pulling Fusien in W1 is tough as he's someone who performs consistently
SV: LBN vs Shiba - Genuine 50/50 MU imo. Let it be known I discovered LBN. I don't really see him overcook in Monotype tbh he's pretty well-rounded in the builder. I think I'd rate Shiba in game a bit more but I think this comes down to whether or not LBN brings some heat
SV: Rio Vidal vs ArkenCiel - Arken is quite good but with what I said about Esword I think Rio is more in form at the moment
SV: Vodoom vs hammy3581 - Tenured mainer vs someone who is not as tenured
SS: Azick vs cpt.kraken - Azick in SS again will be a good watch, I think he's quite favored and more experienced over kraken in SS
SM: terrors vs Thanos - terrors is him, henguinie makes me angry.
ORAS: Greenytg vs benadryl - I'm not sure who either player is cuz I'm unc but gl both. (edited bc prediction contest so im gambling)
BW: Meta vs crash - I think Meta plays more mons in general which keeps him In Shape while Crash only plays Monotype. Both are excellent at BW tho and this is a highlight

SV: DugZa vs Sagazinha - Sagaz had an insane MWP (?) run and I know DugZa has been wanting to try SV for a while. I think if DugZa actually puts in effort he'll be favored since I know Sagaz won't (no shade..). But even if both people put in 0 effort DugZa is prob better
SV: Chaitanya vs adjustments - Chait had a pretty bad MWP but clutched up near the end but last MPL did really well iirc. Rooting for adjustments but he'll have to turn up his playing tempo a bit if he wants to show he can mess with the dawgs
SV: luisin vs MemphisDepay - Luisin is no stranger to Monotype but Memphis has been pretty well rounded in a lot of tiers for a while now
SV: ImprobableBlob vs feen - I actually think this game is pretty close but feen has a lot more tour experience which imo gives him the edge.
SS: ikiarihS vs maki - zayum! maki in 2026 lets see what u got
SM: Sabella vs kythr - HOLYYY SMOKE XELINCIA RETURNS TO MONOTYPE HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK. sabella is great at the game but kythr was him in his prime so if he still plays the same i expect kythr to win

BW: DAHLI vs Cow - Just don't get BW momented. Cow is good but like, hard to not bold dahli here

SV: Neko vs QWILY - I think Neko would be very consistent if she didn't let nerves get to her so bad and let her teammates always know that she thinks she is going to lose. Chin up sis you're good at the game just lock in. But QWILY is also good and doesn't get nervous
SS: schwipper vs Stareal - Stareal played his games very well last tour
SM: Ringmaster Uta vs etern - etern seriously?
ORAS: zIcarus vs PixelBob - Why Pixel is not in SV is beyond me but Monotype is Monotype. Midway through typing this I realized he has Isza support so he'll be fine
BW: jackuzzler vs Xiri - The huzzler lets gooo rooting for him but Xiri is a more familiar name in our tours rn so I'm goin with the old but gold as my bold (barssss omg)
