Done Multiple Magic Bounce with hazards in FFA

What type of bug are you reporting? Mechanics

What is the bug?
Bouncing Hazards through Magic Bounce currently does not function the same in FFA battles as it does in Battle Royals. On PS!, attempting to use a hazard-setting move such as Spikes against multiple Magic Bouncers will result in all Magic Bouncers bouncing Spikes to every other opponent. However, on cartridge only the fastest Magic Bouncer will have their ability activate, while the other Magic Bouncers will not have their abilities activated.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
PS! Replay

(I tried multiple times to get all three Pokemon set to Magic Bounce but they kept killing each other before I could get all three set up, the two Magic Bouncers in the video still demonstrate that only the fastest Bouncer has their ability activated rather than both)

Showdown appears to handle this correctly in regular doubles play (both Pokemon had Magic Bounce): https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9doublesou-2204328837

I can think of a couple of follow-up questions on this (that you don't necessarily need to test):
  • Is this Speed with or without modifiers? (e.g. does Tailwind, or +6, or Trick Room affect which Magic Bounce triggers) (I would expect it to be Speed without modifiers)
  • What happens with Magic Coat? If Magic Coat Magic Bounce is used on a single Pokemon, Magic Coat will reflect the hazards. But I'm not sure if one Pokemon uses Magic Coat, and another Pokemon uses Magic Bounce, if whichever activates is based on Speed, or if Magic Coat always goes first (I suspect it's also Speed-based).

Doing testing, it appears that the Magic Bounce is activated based on speed without modifiers: Test with Trick Room, Test at +3 Speed.

As for Magic Coat, there are no Pokemon used by opponents that have the move and I do not have four 3DSes (or four copies of gen 7 games for that matter) to test the Battle Royal mechanics without battling the computer, so for the time being I'm unable to answer this question.
