Mew NB.gif

Pokemon: Mew
Niche: BW UU (Wallbreaker/Stallbreaker)
Stats: 80/80/95/110/115/120 (-20 HP, -20 Atk, -5 Def, +10 SpAtk +15 SpDef, +20 Spd)
Type: psychic.gifFire.png
Abilites: Synchronize/Mold Breaker
New Moves: None
Removed Moves: Stealth Rocks, Amnesia, Barrier, Iron Defense, Mystical Fire, Toxic Spikes
Descriptions: I never played any BW metagame, but i tried to research a little bit, and with some help of G-Luke i did this =), boost in spatk because if it wants to do some offense, spdef to have... more defense, and more spd because wallbreaker, less hp to balance it a little, same with the less def, and less atk that it doesnt need, it still has synchronize for non-toxic inmune mons, or same with non-paralyze inmune mons, and mold breaker, is for walls that rely in his abilites to get protected from moves that normaly counter them, both abilites are decent, i didnt wanted to make that big of a buff to the abilites because of that mew is now in OU in SS, i eliminated srocks and tspikes because it would have probably made it more op, amnesia and barrier because it could make it also more op, and mystical fire because of sp atackers that it would eliminate more easily with mystical fire, it still can use his gen 5 sets (i think) and this time with more OU-like power

Parasect DP.png

Pokemon: Parasect
Niche: DPP NU (Support/spore go brrrr)
Stats: 100/65/90/60/100/85 (+40 HP, -30 Atk, +10 Def, +20 SpDef, +55 Spd)
Type:
Grass.png
Poison (1).png

Abilites: Acidic Powder/Dry Skin (Acid Powder: makes powder-like moves hit grass types, mons with overcoat and mons with safety googles)
New Moves: Powder, Will-o-Wisp, Whirlwind, Teleport, Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Recover
Removed Moves: Counter
Descriptions: An specialist in powder moves, i tried to balance it more on the stats, not giving it a like, rlly OU stats, but, thats totaly compensated by his typing, a rlly good and defensive one, and his unique ability, acidic powder, that helps it in his powder power =), this thing can throw status to all mons, can poison (not toxic-like poison, but it can use toxic), paralyze, and, sleep, it can also burn with will-o-wisp, dry skin its not that bad, for the new moves, i added powder because... its a powder move, also helps vs fire types and helps with dry skin, will-o-wisp to spread more status, whirlwind to change rival mons if you predict an opposing swap when you are gonna use an status move, and teleport to make an ally switch in safely, tspikes and spikes to make more use of his supportive role, and recover to have a more reliable hp recovery move, eliminated counter because of his new bulk

Kabutops RZ.png

Pokemon: Kabutops
Niche: ADV UU (Sweeper/Banded Attacker)
Stats: 60/125/105/65/70/105 (+10 Atk, +25 Spd)
Type:
Water.png
Rock.png

Abilities: Sheer Force/Mold Breaker
New Moves: Accelerock, Wild Charge, Hard Cut (Hard Cut, Rock.png, 10 PP max 18 PP, Accuracy: 100%, Power: 85, Doesnt have an unique effect)
Removed Moves: Cross Poison, Flip Turn, Knock Off
Descriptions:
An ultra offensive mon, rlly good sweeper, boosted a little bit his stats just to give it more "sweeping like stats", now it has a little more attack and its faster, i wanted to mantain the type to balance it more, and gave it sheer force for more power, or mold breaker for mons that can resist it with the ability, like water absorb, fluffy, storm drain etc, both abilities are rlly decent, and make his sweeping potential better, and, i added accelerock to have a priority rock move, wild charge to have electric cover vs water mons, and his new move, hard cut, a new STAB move rock type, equivalent to liquidation (without sheer force), now it doest have to use moves with not 100% acc to attack with his rock STAB, good buff, at the cost of loosing some good moves, cross poison is not that good but grass types, flip turn is one of the big removals, its a big nerf because switching moves, over all in a choice banded mon, are rlly good, and it has STAB, and knock off is also a big nerf

More mons to come... i think =)

(Idk if its the moves of the niche gen or the TMs and TRs of gen 8 are the ones that you can remove the moves so im gonna remove of both)
Descriptions: I never played any tier of bw, but i wanted to try and resarch for this pet mod, what i discovered was that it was a rlly good support and utility mon, but it wasnt that good for OU, so i tried to make it better, i made it more on the defensive side so it can use his utility and support moves more, with the new typing it has a lot more resistances so that it can switch in more safely, but its weak to the more offensive attack typings like water, ground, rock, and dark, synchronize helps it to eliminate non poison or steel mons that try to toxic it, its not the most useful ability, but it can obiously be used, and well, i added flame body because of knock off, one of his most prominent weaknesses, so that, if an offensive mon tries to eliminate his item, it can get burned, it can also use it for liquidation, its not that good, but its rlly usable, the big nerf its the moves, i eliminated a lot of moves that could make it rlly op, like taunt, spdef boosting moves, recovery moves, etc

The modification has nothing to with BW UU Mew, since you removed alot of what makes Mew good in BW UU, and none of the additions relate to its role it served in that metagame. (A Set Up Wallbreaker or a Taunt Stallbreaker).

Parasect kinda sucks. It clicks Spore and is a bit of deadweight for the remainder of the match. Id suggest giving it means to be less passive.

Well, i tried to investigate in the smogon discord server, and in some posts, the only thing i found it was that mew was good because of the support movepool, and in the discord just only 1 person replied to me saying it was a support mon, thx for saying to me its an wall/stall breaker, im gonna be editing that on my mew rn

And the parasect, well it can also paralyze... and now i see thats it, im gonna try to give it more supporting moves, or more effects to the ability =)

Search Mew Smogon BW on Google. You will be linked to articles on what Mew does for that generation

I'm new to pet mods so please give me feedback here or in the Discord if my subs are bad!

:swsh/weezing:
Pokémon: Weezing
Niche: Gen 8 PU
Stats: 80/95/130/105/80/60 (+15 HP, +5 Atk, +10 Def, +20 SpA, +10 SpD)
Type: Poison
Abilities: Levitate/Neutralizing Gas
New Moves: None
Removed Moves: None

Descriptions: Weezing is a leading threat in Gen 8 PU due to its versatility; between two fantastic and very different abilities, a range of utility moves like hazards and status spreading, great physical bulk, and surprisingly solid special attack, it functions as a swiss army knife of the tier--though of course, its classic weaknesses in a lack of reliable recovery and meh special bulk hold it back from most of the higher tiers.

A range of stat buffs aims to buff Weezing to general viability while keeping its strengths and weaknesses intact. OG Weezing's original statline of 65/120/70 would have it crumpling to many neutral Special attacks and give it good but unimpressive physical bulk, so it's been raised significantly to 80/130/80, where its physical bulk becomes impressive and its special bulk becomes at least passable, like OG Weezing in PU. My favorite thing about PU Weezing is its ability to viably run special attacks--even coverage--due to its decent Special Attack, and that has also been preserved with a significant buff to Special Attack. It won't be getting OHKOs anytime soon but running Sludge Bomb or Flamethrower are viable options.

:swsh/Ponyta:
Pokémon: Ponyta
Niche: Gen 8 LC
Stats: 75/115/75/85/80/130 (+25 HP/+45 Atk/+20 Def/+20 SpA/+15 SpD/+40 Speed)
Type: Fire
Abilities: Flame Body/Flash Fire/Reckless
New Moves
: Recover
Removed Moves:

Descriptions: Ponyta in Gen 8 LC is a strong attacker that outspeeds most of the meta and packs some utility (notably Morning Sun and Will-O-Wisp) which gives it the option to run many different items--Eviolite, Berry Juice, Heavy-Duty Boots, Life Orb--and surprise opponents with different sets. As a result, despite meh bulk, a Stealth Rock weakness without HDB, and a tendency to wear itself down with its best attacks, it's one of the dominant forces in the tier.

My changes aim to emulate this in an obviously much stronger tier. 115/130 physical offenses means it will undoubtedly always be one of the fastest Pokémon in the tier, with respectable power to back it up. The addition of Reckless encourages use of Wild Charge and Flare Blitz, two of Ponyta's best attacks in LC. Alternatively, with Eviolite and some investment in bulk, Ponyta can become more of a fast tank akin to its LC Eviolite sets, with my addition of Recover as reliable recovery over Morning Sun since Morning Sun is better in LC due to its faster pace. However, despite these strengths, I believe that Ponyta will be held in check by its bad defensive typing, poor bulk without Eviolite and Stealth Rock weakness without HDB.

It's time to vote now! There is an extended explanation for the Voting rules below, but I'll provide you a TL;DR version.
  • Vote for a maximum of 8 submission (you can vote for less, but 8 is recommended)
  • 2 Self Votes are allowed but they can't be 1st place
  • Specify which sub you are voting for! Either by mentioning its niche or submitter

Voting is pretty easy to understand. You have to vote for 8 Pokemon (more or less votes will not count) and they have to be ordered (meaning the 1st place has more points than the 8th place) and Self Votes are allowed, but they can't be 1st place and you can only vote for yourself 2 times. When voting for a Pokemon, you should also mention its niche, cause this makes it clearer when a Pokemon has been subbed more than once. If there are two subs which cover the same Pokemon and the same Niche, then mention the name of the submitter as well.
Person A submitted: :venusaur::kangaskhan::chansey::zapdos::exeggutor::alakazam::moltres:(bw ru):starmie:(ss nu)
Person B submitted: :snorlax::charizard::starmie:(adv ou):articuno::arcanine: (This person only submitted 5 mons, which is okay)
Person C submitted: :blastoise::persian::beedrill::marowak::dragonite::slowbro::tentacruel::moltres:(bw ru)
  1. :beedrill: (ORAS UU)
  2. :Venusaur:(DPP UU) (SV)
  3. :Zapdos: (RBY OU) (SV)
  4. :moltres: (BW RU from Person C)
  5. :starmie: (ADV OU)
  6. :charizard: (SM OU)
  7. :slowbro: (RBY OU)
  8. :dragonite: (DPP OU)

Voting will last for 3 days. Good Luck!

Servus! Here are the winners for our Generation 1 slate, after I wasted so much on counting the votes.

:dp/venusaur:
Pokémon: Venusaur
Niche: DPP UU
Stats: 80 / 102 / 83 / 100 / 100 / 80
Type: Grass / Poison
Abilities: Overgrow
New Moves: Mystical Fire, Slack Off
Removed Moves: none!

Descriptions: WIP
:bw/clefable:
Pokémon: Clefable
Niche: BW RU
Stats: 95/90/73/95/100/60 (+20 Atk, +10 SpD)
Type:

Abilities: Magic Guard
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: Moonblast, Teleport
Descriptions: Don't let current gen Fairy Clefable distract you from the fact that Clefable is one of the coolest Pokémon in Gen 5.Thanks to being a Normal-type with Magic Guard, Clefable had its usual defensive shenanigans, but it was also the sole owner of the combination of Double-Edge and Magic Guard, which made it a viable mixed wallbreaker that had a huge 120 BP STAB to spam, backed by its amazing special coverage. Thus, +20 Atk makes Double-Edge a much more desirable option, while keeping its 95 SpA to help its coverage. Giving slightly more Special bulk also helps it be a better Special wall, which was its primary role in BW RU.
:sm/Venomoth:

Pokémon: Venomoth
Niche: SM UU
Stats: 80 / 65 / 60 / 110 / 95 / 110
Type:

Abilities: Shield Dust / Tinted Lens / Wonder Skin [HA]
New Moves: None
Removed Moves: None
Custom Element: Cotton Coat - If held by a Venomoth or Venonat, its Bug type attacks will have double BP. Consumed upon successfully landing a Bug-type attack.

Descriptions: Venomoth has been consistently viable in lower tiers ever since it’s debut, and the mons has received several buffs since. With the addition of Tinted lens in Gen 4, Quiver Dance in Gen 5, and Z-Moves in Gen 7, Venomoth hit its peak in power. Being able to put opponents to sleep, set up with quiver dance, hit hard with its STABs that ignore resistances, and nuke a bulky opponent with a Z-Move all built Venomoth its own niche as a set-up sweeper. Unfortunately Gen 8 OU removed Z-Moves, so to mirror this, Venomoth has been given its own signature item, the Cotton Coat, which essentially transforms its first Bug-type attack into a Z-move. It allows Venomoth to reach its former levels of power, however the the usage of this item is now limited to just the first attack, rather than any attack of their choosing. Some upgrades have been made to Venomoth’s stats have also been made to make it closer in power levels to other OU Quiver Dancers.

Pokemon: Victreebel
Niche: RBY OU
Stats: 80/105/65/100/100/70 (BST: 520)
Type:

Abilities: Sniper / Gluttony
New Moves: Flytrap*
Removals: Strength Sap
Custom Elements: Flytrap- Physical Grass type Magma Storm
Description: Victreebel has two factors that make it viable in Gen 1 OU, which are its combination of Wrap + Sleep Powder (it is the sole user of this combo), as well as the powerful Razor Leaf (due to how Crits work in Gen 1). Victreebel carries over its Gen 1 Special Defense, as well as gaining the ability Sniper for its Leaf Blades, and the custom move Flytrap, which allows it to trap the opponent before putting them to sleep with Sleep Powder. It loses out on Strength Sap, but it still has access to Synthesis if you want to run recovery.
:xy/golem:
Pokémon: Golem
Niche: XY PU
Stats: 80 / 130 / 130 / 55 / 85 / 45 (+10 ATK, +20 SPD)
Type:

Abilities: Sturdy
New Moves: Swords Dance
Removed Moves: N/A

Descriptions: Golem is a premier SR setter and lead in XY PU, with the ability to hold off offensive Normals in the tier. Unfortunately, Rock/Ground is such an awful typing that it'd never hit OU without some ridiculous stat buffs, so I changed it to Steel/Ground. This allows it to still check similar threats, without the 4x weakness to both Grass and Water that Golem is burdened with in PU. Finally, Sturdy with high defenses allows Golem to almost always live a hit to get up SR, and 130 Attack with Stone Edge and EQ (or Iron Head if you want) means that most defoggers won't be able to afford using it while Golem is still alive. Finally, Swords Dance allows for more offensive sets, as SD with Rock/Ground coverage is very powerful, even if Rock is no longer STAB.
:gs/omastar:
Pokémon: Omastar
Niche: GSC OU, Sandstorm Setter
Stats: 90 / 60 / 135 / 115 / 70 / 55
Type: Water / Rock
Abilities: Sand Stream
New Moves: Recover, Flame Burst (HPFire equivalent), Thunder Burst (gen 2 hpelectric) Leaf Burst (gen2hpgrass)
Removed Moves: Shell Smash

Descriptions: apparently Omastar is the best gen 2 OU sand setter, so this was made to reflect that.
:rb/articuno:
Pokémon: Articuno
Niche: Gen 1 OU (Blizz Spam)
Stats: 85 / 75 / 75 / 115 / 115 / 100 | 555 BST
Type: Ice / Flying
Abilities: Snow Warning
New Moves: Focus Blast, Taunt, Calm Mind
Reasoning: The only good thing about Articuno in gen 1 was how broken Blizzard was. Blizz Spam didn't actually become an archetype until gens 4 and 5 UU (and I'd like to say I'm one of the pioneers of teams that literally spam Blizzard with 6 mons but I digress). At any rate, this pokemon relives the glory days by having its best move by far be Blizzard. It has Hurricane and Focus Blast, but those are inaccurate, so just click BLIZZARD and get that sweet chip at the end of the turn. Calm Mind and Taunt help it click BLIZZARD more.
:ss/mew:
Pokemon: Mew
Niche: LGPE OU (Defensive Pivot, NP Sweeper)
Type:

Ability: Synchronize
Stats: 100 / 100 / 80 / 100 / 100 / 80
Added Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: Dragon Dance, Ice Beam, Spikes, Swords Dance, Trick
Description: All the sample teams run mono-Scald Mew for some reason, so why not make Mew a Water-type? Reduced Mew's massive movepool so that it would run what it would normally run in LGPE (Scald/Roost/Rocks/U-turn or NP/Psychic/Fire Blast/Tbolt).
This slate is providing a rough idea of the meta, we can try and adapt the following subs to fit well into the metagame. With that being said, we should move onto the next slate:

:ss/meganium::ss/typhlosion::ss/feraligatr:

Pick up to 8 Generation 2 Pokemon and submit any niche you want. The first post still provides a guide on how to submit.

:rs/forretress:
Pokémon: Forretress
Niche: ADV OU
Stats: 85 / 90 / 150 / 60 / 80 / 30 (+10 HP, +10 DEF, +20 SPD, -10 SPE)
Type:

Abilities: Sturdy / Overcoat
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: N/A

Descriptions: Forretress was a premier defensive Steel in ADV OU, with tons of role compression thanks to its access to both Spikes and Rapid Spin. It was also a good pick on Sandstorm teams, and so I've allowed it to keep its hidden ability in order to further that role (you never know when you'll get hit by Soak). In ADV, Forretress had enough physical bulk to run Special Defense investment, so I've boosted both its physical and special bulk in order to compete with an overall stronger modern metagame. While still being prone to chip, Overcoat/Sturdy in combination with improved bulk and an amazing defensive typing allows it extreme longevity in most games, and with its more modern tool in Volt Switch it becomes a great defensive utility pivot and complementary mon to Omastar.

:rs/typhlosion:
Pokémon: Typhlosion
Niche: ADV OU
Stats: 78 / 84 / 78 / 109 / 85 / 100
Type: Fire.png

Abilities: Raging Flame
New Moves: Grass Knot, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Switch
Removed Moves: N/A
Custom Element: Raging Flame: This Pokemon's Special Attack is raised one stage and the power of its Fire moves is 1.5x when it falls below half of its max health.
Descriptions: In ADV OU, Typhlosion competed pretty heavily with Charizard. However, it had a couple things over Zard, namely not being weak to Electric and having access to Thunder Punch. It was these aspects I decided to emphasize with this submission. With a new typing in Fire/Electric, and the addition of Thunderbolt and Volt Switch to its movepool (and Grass Knot to simulate HP Grass), Typhlosion can act as a powerful offensive pivot. Its most common set in ADV was Petaya Berry, to take advantage of the extreme boost to its Fire STAB Blaze gave it when it fell below 1/3 of its max HP. However, nowadays Fire types have to worry quite a lot about Stealth Rock, especially ones with pivoting, so most of the time they want to run HDB over any other item. Additionally, both Blaze and Petaya Berry activate at too low an HP threshold to consistently reach anymore, and so I combined them into Typhlosion's new ability, Raging Flame. This is essentially a buffed Berserk, though with no recovery and poor bulk, Typhlosion lacks the necessary features to abuse it. However, even a one-time boost in combination with Blaze is absolutely ridiculous, and allows Typhlosion to cleave through unprepared teams. Run Air Balloon if you're a demon.

:rs/elekid:
Pokémon: Elekid (not eviolite compatible)
Niche: DPP LC
Stats: 65 / 113 / 67 / 65 / 85 / 115 (+20 HP, +50 ATK, +30 DEF, +30 SPD, +20 SPE)
Type:

Abilities: Iron Fist
New Moves: Drain Punch, Extreme Speed
Removed Moves: N/A

Descriptions: In DPP LC, Elekid was a great choice as an offensive mon, being one of the fastest mons in the tier and having great coverage in the elemental punches, as well as priority in Quick Attack. To further this role, I've given it Iron Fist to boost the power of its punches, as well as Drain Punch as a replacement to its usual Fighting options (Cross Chop, Low Kick, etc.) that also gives it more longevity. Additionally, I've given it Extreme Speed over Quick Attack to give it a better revenge-killing option. Of course, it still suffers from low bulk and no setup, so it won't be overwhelming, but it should be a great option in the tier.

:dp/ho-oh:
Pokémon: Ho-Oh
Niche: DPP Ubers
Stats: 90 / 90 / 80 / 75 / 120 / 75 (-16 HP, -40 ATK, -10 DEF, -35 SPA, -34 SPD, -15 SPE)
Type: Fire.png
Flying

Abilities: Sheer Force
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: Calm Mind

Descriptions: In DPP Ubers, Ho-Oh had not yet received its busted hidden ability; Regenerator. Because of this, it worked entirely as a ridiculously powerful physical breaker. However, its extreme stats due to being a box legendary in combination with the ridiculous 50% burn chance of Sacred Fire make it way too powerful for any OU tier. To solve that, huge stat nerfs were in order, followed by the changing of its ability to Sheer Force. This allows it to still have the ridiculous power it was known for, without being as overwhelming as it would be in OU.

:bw/piloswine:
Pokémon: Piloswine
Niche: BW NU
Stats: 130 / 110 / 80 / 60 / 80 / 50 (+30 HP, +10 ATK, +20 SPD)
Type:

Abilities: Thick Fat
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: N/A

Descriptions: Piloswine was a very bulky SR setter in BW NU. Thanks to this bulk, its ability Thick Fat, and a relatively powerful offensive presence, it was the longest-lived lead in the tier, able to continue providing a role throughout the battle. To emulate this, I've given it even more bulk and power, allowing it to tank even super-effective hits in some cases, at the expense of being locked to Eviolite. Luckily, its typing is great defensively in the current meta, giving it a natural immunity to chip damage from both of the weathers, as well as Thick Fat providing it a resistance to Articuno's BLIZZARD. Should work well as a tank and SR setter, just don't let it get koffed.

:xy/ampharos:
Pokémon: Ampharos
Niche: XY UU
Stats: 90 / 75 / 105 / 125 / 110 / 55 (+20 DEF, +10 SPA, +20 SPD)
Type:

Abilities: Pressure
New Moves: Draco Meteor, Nasty Plot, Slack Off
Removed Moves: N/A

Descriptions: Made to emulate Mega Ampharos' niche in XY UU, but with nerfed stats to make up for not taking a mega slot. Mega Ampharos is a very powerful bulky attacker, but it just doesn't quite have the movepool to pull off the bulky sets it wants to (in fact, one of Ampharos' main sets ran Rest. In XY). Nasty Plot+Draco Meteor is a huge power boost, and Slack Off gives it the ability to stay around throughout the game to spam its dual STABs. Mold Breaker wasn't doing it any favors, and Pressure allows it to better stall out the moves of some of the mons it checks.

Congrats to the winners!

Pokémon: Misdreavus (No Eviolite)
Niche: GSC OU
Stats: 80 / 80 / 80 / 100 / 100 / 100 (+20 in HP / Atk / Def, +15 in SpA / SpDef / Spe)
Type:

Abilities: Serene Grace
New Moves: Night Daze, Strange Steam, Discharge, Knock Off, Spirit Shackle
Removed Moves: Nasty Plot, Calm Mind

Description: Misdreavus was, back in GS, one of the only Ghost types alongside Gengar, making it crucial to switch into the most dangerous and meta-defining move : explosion. Its immunities are made more actual by adding the Fairy typing, which lets it also wall dragons and get free switch-ins on U-Turn, one of the current meta-defining moves (for offense at least). Its roles were that of a trapper, thanks to Mean Look, or a disrupter and status spreader using moves such as Thunder, Hypnosis, and Confuse Ray ; but a core part of its gameplay was that it could do both, and the opponent didn’t know which. These tactics being hardly viable nowadays, I chose to allow it the rare offensive trapping move in Spirit Shackle, and give it Serene Grace with moves that benefit from it. Sets aiming to cripple get walled by most defensive mons, but those do not stand a chance if they get trapped and Perish Sung to death, preserving the scary alternative between sets that make this pokemon dangerous. The omniboost in stats is because… well, its old ones were just not cutting it for modern OU formats. Knock Off is here to emulate its past use of Thief.

Pokémon: Murkrow (Eviolite-compatible)
Niche: BW RU
Stats: 70 / 85 / 62 / 85 / 62 / 91 (+10 HP, +20 Def / SpDef)
Type:
Dark
Flying

Abilities: Insomnia / Super Luck / Prankster
New Moves: Parting Shot
Removed Moves:
Custom Elements: Fluff Feather (Item): If held by a Murkrow, its Def and SpDef are 1.5*. Cannot be lost due to another pokemon’s attack.

Description: Mukrow, when it was granted Prankster as a HA, carved out its niche by being the only pokemon bar Sableye to have a good utility movepool to abuse it. Having paper-thin defenses, he would always run Eviolite on these sets, which was at no risk of being knocked off since that move hadn’t been buffed or known the rise in popularity it has, hence the custom item. I’ve elected to give him parting shot because one of its tools against offensive pokemon was prankster feather dance, which I doubt he would use in a modern-day format. His defenses buffed to a level similar to that of Porygon 2*, I think he can thrive thanks to his unique combination of Prankster and Roost, Defog, Twave, Taunt, Toxic and a plethora of other support moves which help him Stallbreak and have a meaningful defensive presence. It still keeps the same rather passive playstyle though, relying mostly on Foul Play and Toxic to deal damage.

*EDIT : Since I'd like to keep the Fluff Feather aspect of the sub, I removed a lot of bulk. I sometimes forget how strong eviolite is esp on a pokemon like this. Hope this is enough, but if not I'll remove the item.

Pokémon: Skarmory
Niche: BW OU
Stats: 65 / 95 / 130 / 40 / 70 / 85 (+15 Atk, -10 Def, +15 Spe)
Type:
Steel
Flying

Abilities: Thin Plates *
New Moves:
Removed Moves: Roost
Custom Elements: Thin Plates (ability): If this pokemon is at full HP, it survives one hit with at least 1 HP. When hit by an attack, this pokemon’s Speed is raised by one stage.

Description: Sure, Skarmory is known for being a physical wall… but that’s boring. Skarmory also found a niche in HO, because it had all the tools required to be the ideal suicide lead : both SR and Spikes, Taunt, Defog, Sturdy to lay at least one layer, Brave Bird to get a free switch-in once at one HP. Meanwhile it retained good physical bulk, which I toned down a bit since it doesn’t use it as much. Its new ability is a mix between Sturdy, Weak Armor, which would occasionally see use on Swords Dance sets, and Custap Berry, which was ran on the suicide lead sets. No roost because the time of boring old defensive Skarm is over.

Pokémon: Noctowl
Niche: ADV NU
Stats: 100 / 50 / 50 / 96 / 106 / 70
Type:

Abilities: Insomnia / Keen Eye [HA]
New Moves: Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Metal Sound
Removed Moves:

Descriptions: Before being blessed with Tinted Lens, Noctowl was pretty much just a Special Wall. However, it’s older builds have practically everything to wall the big scary in the meta rn, Venomoth. With a slight adjustment to its typing to allow it be able to help it wall more, Noctowl especially is a strong defensive answer to the likes of Venomoth, and can either try to fight back, or phaze moth out with Whirlwind. As long as you switch in this owl before it sets up to +3 it can pretty much answer anything moth throws it’s way. A small buff was given to Owl to make its Special Bulk and Special Attack a bit more prominent, and also kinda gave it some Steel moves to actually fit its adjusted typing.

:gs/stantler:
Pokémon: Stantler
Niche: GSC NU
Stats: 83 / 95 / 72 / 85 / 65 / 115
Type:

Abilities: Light Veil / Intimidate [HA]
Custom Ability: Light Veil - Having this Pokemon gives the same effects as if it were holding a Light Clay. Holding a Light Clay while this ability is active will not further boost the duration of reflect, light screen, or aurora veil.
New Moves: High Jump Kick, High Horsepower, Stomping Tantrum, U-Turn
Removed Moves:

Descriptions: An offensive support in GSC NU, holding strong stats, powerful coverage, and Screens for support. So, to emulate this to a stronger extent, here's our new and improved Stantler! With boosts to overall bulk and speed, Stantler can more effectively set up its screens before getting hit by danger. To boot, Light Veil allows Stantler to better run Light Clay-esque strategies, while still maintaining its valuable item slot. You could alternatively choose to run Intimidate, which paired with Reflect greatly boosts Stantler's overall Physical Bulk. Ground/Normal reflects Stantler's normally run coverage: running the likes of as well, while still emulating Stantler's Ground/Normal coverage from what this mon historically had. And the last addition here is would be the moves, which just mostly expand upon what Stantler already has, as well as U-Turn to allow it to pivot its screens to allies as well.

Pokémon: Houndoom
Niche: [GSC UU] Sun Wallbreaker, Pursuit Trapper
Stats: 85 HP / 90 Atk / 65 Def / 115 SpA / 90 SpD / 95 Spe (+10 HP, +15 Def, +5 SpA, +10 SpD)
Type:

Abilities: Drought | HA: Early Bird
New Moves: Huntdown - Special Pursuit clone
Removed Moves: Nasty Plot
Descriptions: Houndoom in GSC had the niche of the strongest Pursuit in the game, being able to bully the hell out of Psychic and Ghost types. I sought to replicate that with Pursuit once again hitting off of it's SpA. In addition to Pursuiting foes, Houndoom was one of the first pioneers of weather abusers, utilixing a Sunny Day set to bully teams. Now we know Sunny Day is not very efficient, so I opted to just go Drought and let Houndoom go off as aformidable wallbreaker, who is unfortunately bullied hard by our sand setter SpD Omastar. I gave it some extra bulk because while its offensive prowess is not bad, its bulk for an offensive mon was just abhorrent, not being able to swap into any resists.

:xy/crobat:
Pokémon: Crobat
Niche: [XYORAS UU] Offensive Pivot, Stall Breaker
Stats: 90 HP / 105 Atk / 85 Def / 70 SpA / 85 SpD / 130 Spe ( +5 HP, +15 Atk, +5 Def, +5 SpD)
Type:

Abilities: Inner Focus | HA: Infiltrator
New Moves: Gunk Shot
Removed Moves: N/A
Descriptions: Crobat 's main job was that of a fast offensive pivot and stallbreaker that primarily checked the likes of Fighting and Grass types with its respectable bulk and x4 resist. Thus I found it suitable to introduce it as the first check (of probably many) to Venomoth. Its addition of Gunk, and slight upscaling of its key stats ensure it can serve this rolewell. It also really shits on our fellow Grasses parade but they all get Sleep Powder so there is that.

:dp/wobbuffet:
Pokémon: Wobbuffet
Niche: [DPP Ubers] Trapper, Retaliating Tank
Stats: 190 HP / 33 Atk / 58 Def / 33 SpA / 58 SpD / 33 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Prankster / Klutz | HA: Magic Bounce
New Moves: Haze, Heal Bell, Metal Burst, Octolock, Block, Magic Coat, Taunt
Removed Moves: N/A
Descriptions: Wobbufett traps mons and kills them via CounterCoat. However, Shadow Tag is uncompetitive, and without that leaves Wobbufett in a tight squeeze, and makes it using in OU a lot less worthwhile. Now with Octolock being an existing move, Wobbuffet can relive its glory days as a trapper, and with new options like Metal Burst, Heal Bell and Haze, it can successfully trap and PP Stall or just CounterCoat / Metal Burst its opponents to death. Prankster allows it to trap with Priority and greatly improves the use of Encore, while Magic Bounce forces the opponent to hit them with direct attacks, which is exactly what Wobboffet wants.
