My First attempt at LC

I know this team probably isn't great but it's my first try. Im very open to suggestions and dont mind replacing thigs a bit.

So cute lol (Phanpy) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pickup
EVs: 196 HP/196 Atk/116 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Protect

Basic lead. Sets up SR, EQ gives STAB, Ice Shard kills Gligar and protect, well, protects me from stuff like explosion.
---
Om nom nom (Munchlax) (M) @ Oran Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 76 HP/156 Atk/36 Def/236 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Fire Punch
- Return
- Pursuit
- Seed Bomb

Special wall, the best apparently. It checks a few things but not that many so im open to suggestions. Seed bomb hits alot of water types and without an Electric type move on my team they can be troublesome.
Fire Punch gives coverage.
Return has STAB.
Pusuit hits things that try and switch out when they are annoyed that their special attacks are being walled.
---
Dratini (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 28 HP/244 Atk/196 Spd/36 SDef
Rash nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Extremespeed
- Outrage
- Waterfall

I <3 D-Nite and that love carries to it's little mini version. Actually the set I use on my D-Nite in HGSS but it was also on Smogon and I'm not very imaginative.
With a Dragon Dance or 2 under its belt it's almost unstoppable (Im not sure about waterfall on zor)
Outrage kills things, ES is a nice new toy and Waterfall lets it get neutral damage.
---
Bring it on (Croagunk) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 188 Atk/116 Spd/188 SAtk
Brave nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Ice Punch
- Fake Out
- Sucker Punch
- Vacuum Wave

Priority noob. Checks a few things, also straight of Smogon.
Not much explaining here. Works well but isn't that great. It usually takes out a poke before it dies but it still isn't great so i don't mind replacing it all that much.
---
Gastly @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid/Modest
EVs: 36 Def / 196 SpAtk / 76 SpDef / 196 Spd
Moves:
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Sludge Bomb

I swapped Gligar out as I've been told walls are pointless. This is now my check to mankey and Machop/
Sub let's me sub up on the switch so i can take any attack thrown at me and it can absorb status for me.
Shadow Ball provides STAB and reasonable power.
Thunderbolt is, as usual, for coverage.

Sludge bomb is another STAB move. I chose it over WoW and Sucker punch because of Me not being able to take a hit and not hitting anything with physical attacks.
---
Uber atk lol (Remoraid) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 236 Atk/76 Spd/156 SAtk
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Water Spout
- Waterfall
- Ice Beam
- Seed Bomb

Highest attack in LC? Yes please! Basically just crazy coverage, high attack, scarf (its a revenge killer) and hustle make it more than a little bit awesome! Oh, and im quite reluctant to swap it out as it checks just about half the things that threaten my team.
I have waterfall over water spout because of the crazy physical attack but if water spout is better (or if I should change my EV's to suit it) then please tell me.
Water Spout KILLS THINGS when I'm scarfed and get STAB.
Seed Bomb rounds off the set hitting Waters that resist the first three moves
Yes, I hit 21 speed exactly.

Threat List: Threat level is color-coded. Color-coding is based not only on my ability to counter a specific Pokemon, but also the Pokemon's (or specific sets of the Pokemon's) frequency of usage and occurrence.

Anorith – Fire blast anyone? Remoraid?

Aron – The worst thing this Poké ever got was the typing. It has a 4x weakness to Croagunk’s vacuum wave and Gligar/Phanphy’s EQ on top of other various 2x weaknesses.

Bagon – Look at it like Dratini without ES. ES will laugh in its face, otherwise I use Remoraid; wow I rely on that thing too much.

Bronzor – Quite hard for me to beat. I basically just rely on Remoraid’s Fire blast again.

Buizel – Hopefully Munchlax or Remoraid can seed bomb it.

Carvanha – Remoraid’s seed bomb, wow I love that revenge killer. Otherwise, im screwed.

Chinchou– Hard to beat. If Remoraid wither misses or can’t OHKO with Seed Bomb it will kill me. Other wise my only choice is to switch Croagunk in on a water attack, Fake out, and then hope to kill with a priority.

Cranidos – Gligar is beastly and if all else fails, Remoraid, once AGAIN.

Croagunk – Everybody carries different sets making it way too hard to beat. I can use Remo’s Fire Blast or just try and wsweep it with... something?

Diglett – Not too hard to beat. Dratini can use Waterfall on its paper defences, if it survives the attack that is. Otherwise Munchlax might tank it or I sacrifice and pwn it with remoraid.

Dratini – I need to do calculations here to see if it out speeds Remoraid after DDance, if it does, major threat, otherwise, take a guess...

Drifloon – This may or may not be a threat depending on its set. If it has a Salac berry, then I once again need to calc to see if it outspeeds Remoraid, if it does, if dead.

Duskull – Haven’t actually seen one of these so idk what to do. Sucker punch might do the trick but it will probably WoW me. I don’t Really know what to do.

Eevee– Fake out, Vacuum Wave, otherwise Gligar or Munchlax will hopefully do the trick.

Elekid – Gligar can come in or Tbolt and EQ it to death but if it has HP Ice then im in a tricky spot.

Gastly – Another Hard one to beat. If I can switch Munchie on a Shadow ball they are dead if they’re chocied. Otherwise Sucker punch on Croagunk might be my only option.

Gligar – The leads can be smashed by Ice Shard on Phanphy, otherwise Dratini has Waterfall and Remoraid has ice beam.

Hippopotas – 4 out 6 of my Pokemon can hit it for SE but sand storm can be annoying.

Horsea – Seed bomb or Seed bomb?

Houndour – Waterfall, Waterfall, Vacuum Wave, Earthquake or Earthquake? I can’t decide which one to use!!!

clip_image021.gif

Kabuto – EQ will hit leads unless they use Aqua Jet in which case I have 2 Pokémon with Seed Bomb.

Krabby – Seed bomb again.

Machop – Switch in on just about anything with Gastly and sub up while they switch or if they don't want to do that, kill them with TBolt.

Magby – Remoraid, Gligar and to an extent, Dratini all counter it.

Magnemite – Gligar or Phanphy = dead metal ball thingy.

Mankey – Same as Machop.

Mantyke – Gastly's TBolt, otherwise, straight forward kill.

Meowth – Not too hard, hit it with vacuum wave if the fake out doesn’t kick my @$$. Why can’t croagunk get technician =( Worst comes to worst, ill have to sacrifice something.

Munchlax – Quite painful actually. It comes down to sheer power (Remoraid, Dratini) or 1million vacuum waves (Croagunk)

Omanyte – Seed bomb from either of my 2.

Onix – More Seed bombs and Waterfalls.

Paras – Relying on a Fire Blast here. OMFG Remoraid hits everything!

Phanpy – Depends on the set. Usually seen on a lead when it’s Phanpy on Phanpy, whats the bet Phanpy wins?

Poliwag – Seed bomb if it’s on full HP. If it belly durms then prority its ass.

Porygon – Vacuum wave doesn’t care about your scarf or your n00b trick room Pory.

Slowpoke – Priority doesn’t care about TR and seed hits Water types hard incase you haven’t played Pokémon before.

clip_image037.gif

Snover – I don’t like Snover. Smashes Phanpy. Relying on Remoraid and Munchlax again.

Staryu – Sucker Punch is probably my best option here but with massive attack, scarf and hustle the only thing my Remoraid is scared of is Missing.

Stunky – Haven’t met one but I think I’d EQ or Vacuum Wave.

Taillow – Ice beam or Stone edge, straight and simple.

Please Post!!

Use Ice Punch over Bullet Punch on Croagunk, you're gonna want the coverage that it nets you. LOLwut, Fire Blast on Munchlax? :0 Nonono. Fire Punch.

Fire Blast is okay on Remoraid, but you ought to consider Water Spout, as it not only gives you that hugely powerful 150 base damage move, but it also gives you the only 100% accurate attack that your Remoraid will want to run (and switch Ice Beam to Return). It's okay to have two Water STAB moves. I'm also looking at your EVs on your Remoraid now, and I'm wondering if that thing is hitting 21 speed. :0 Because if it's not, you're in trouble-- Scarfers in LC basically HAVE to hit 21 speed, otherwise they run the risk of being outrun by unboosted things that can reach 20 speed.

You wanna watch out for Scarf Gastly while Dratini tries to sweep, as it can come in and blow up in your face before you can do diddly to it. Your team is also really weak to Ice, the only ones who resist it are Munchy and Remoraid (who's fragile and who you don't want taking a hit-- 'specially if you're running Water Spout). You might want to swap one of your three Ice-weak Pokes out for someone who can at least resist it. LOL, I have a feeling your cluelessness regarding Duskull will screw you. Sucker Punch is no good as Duskull usually focuses on Burning you first and asking questions later... no, Pursuit (anybody with STAB) or Substitute is the best way to deal with Duskull. Drifloon doesn't run Salac, it has Unburden, which gives it +2 speed instead of +1, and pretty much spells disaster for you. Sucker Punch and Munchy's special bulk are all you really have on him.

I will tell you one thing, you DEFINITELY need a Ghost in here somewhere. Machop and Mankey are walking all over you as it is, and those three handy resistances to Normal / Fighting / Ground are nigh-essential to Little Cup teams.

I think you need some work on this, as there is a lot you're pretty weak / vulnerable to. I can come back later to suggest more but right now I gotta skedaddle.

You do NOT need two pokemon with stealth rock. No. NO.

Also, a Gligar set like that looks like it's meant to wall. Walls don't work in little cup.

You also lack a ghost, like Banryu said. Ghosts are ESSENTIAL, as you may have noticed, for walling fighting, normal, and ground attacks that mess with your team.

I suggest putting a Sub-Gastly over Gligar, because Ghastly does everything you use Gligar for better than Gligar.

Gastly @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid/Modest
EVs: 36 Def / 196 SpAtk / 76 SpDef / 196 Spd
Moves:
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Sludge Bomb/Will-o-Wisp/Sucker Punch

Except for an electric immunity. Remoraid doesn't look very good. Hustle drops your accuracy to 80, and Fire Blast goes down to HORRENDOUS levels of it.

Use a Scarf Chinchou, who has an electric resistance and does everything Remoraid is except hurting Munchlax with Waterfall.
Chinchou @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Modest
EVs: 60 Def / 228 SpA / 220 Spe
-Hydro Pump / Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Hidden Power Grass / Hidden Power Ground

Earthquake/Seed Bomb on Munchlax, who hits Waters fine with Return. Fire Punch////Fire Blast.

Yeah.

Thanks guys. added a few changes in bold:
Sub Gastly replaces Gligar
Fire punch over Fire blast on Munchlax
Ice punch over Bullet punch on Croagunk
Water Spout over Fire blast on Remoraid

Hello!

At first glance, you can make a small change to Phanpy that may prove effective for you. You don't really need Protect on it. Phanpy is pretty bulky and even with Fake Out hitting it, Meowth cannot 2HKO it, so the combination of EQ and Ice Shard is all you need to beat it. I'd suggest you replace it with Head Smash. Even though the recoi isn't nice, it provides some nice coverage for you (especially when a Mantyke or a Ghost switches in on you). Of course it isn't perfect with his Speed either, but is still a nice option to have in your back pocket!

On your Gastly, I'm not sure if you need Thunderbolt. It won't be doing much for you with coverage that a STAB Shadow Ball won't. In place of that, Explosion may be nice. It'll allow you to take out threats like Munchlax for your Remoraid, or any other Pokemon causing you trouble in battle.

Now, you have two revenge kilers in Gunk and Remoraid. Usually you can pull this off to some success when both are scarfed, but with the accuracy Remoraid has, it isn't your best option; Gunk is also extremely reliable at doing its job to the point that you won't need a backup too often. You also say you have troubles with Ghosts, so to patch that up you coud replace it with a mixdour who also brings some immediate power and priority in Sucker Punch. With this set, all you need to worry about from Ghosts are Gastly's Explosion under a sub and a set up Drifloon's HP Fighting. I'd usually pick sub here, but if you would like to try and use some prediction, HP Ground could net you a KO on Gunk every now and then.
