SM OU My first RMT- Mega Gallade's pals

Hi. Alola is the region where ill play competitively. Some friends teach me the basics to play. And then, this is my team:

Gallade-Mega @ Galladite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Psycho Cut
- Poison Jab
- Drain Punch
- Swords Dance

The star of the team, a extremely good sweeper. Standard EVs, jolly nature to improve velocity. Psyco cut for STAB and critical hit, poison jab for fairies, drain punch to stay alive and sword dance to maximize attack power.

Gengar @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Taunt

Gengar is one of my favourites pokemon since Kanto and its has to be in my team and covers Gallade from fairies. Standard Evs for a fast special sweeper, timid nature to be faster. Sadly there is no more levitation. Shadow ball and sludge wave for STAB, focus blast to hit normal and steel-type pokemon because he can wall Gengar perfectly; fightnium Z to quit ferrothorn and Tyranitar. Taunt to be lead and prevent hazards and status moves.

Bisharp @ Dread Plate
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance

Bisharp is the second physical sweeper. Another standard evs, adamant nature to hit hard. Knock off to quit foe's items, iron head for STAB for fairies, sucker punch for priority and sword dance to improve attack. Nothing special with this.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Hyper Voice
- Shadow Ball

This cutie pokemon serves like a bulky special sweeper, healing my team and destroying dragons and another things. Modest nature to be a true menace, wish to heal herself or another pal, HP fire to hit steel pokemons, hyper voice for STAB thank you to pixilate and shadow ball for ghost.

Goodra @ Assault Vest
Ability: Gooey
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Pulse
- Sludge Wave

My special tank. Goodra makes core with Sylveon and Bisharp, and provides me a wide coverage for all the team. Goey hability to ensure that Gallade and friends will be faster than foes. Dragon pulse for STAB, sludge wave for fairies, thunderbolt and flamethrower for type coverages.

Hippowdon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Toxic

Finally, this bad guy. Supports my team with toxic and hazards. Impish nature to improve physical defense, earthquake for STAB and slack off to be healthy.

Well, thats my time. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Remember, its my first time in competitive Pokemon, so please dont kill me xD

Hello! I'll rate your team.

Firstly, since ur new, using the smogon dex for the movesets of ur pokemon will really help, they usually list the most optimal movesets for mons (most of the times anyways >_>). http://www.smogon.com/dex/sm/pokemon/

Next u wna see the viability rankings for mons in ou. This gives u an idea which r the better mons in ou and u can select accordingly. http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/usum-ou-ultra-viability-ranking-thread.3621329/

I'll give the example of gallade's most optimal set.

Gallade @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Zen Headbutt
- Knock Off

Sd boost gallade's high atk to massive lvls so it becomes a huge threat along with its best dual stabs (fight/psychic). Knock is best as 4th move to break mew balance cuz otherwise mega medicham is a lot better in terms of raw power w/o needing to sd boost.

Most the mons u chose to support gallade arent viable by ou standards like say sylveon goodra. Gengar bisharp and hippo are viable in ou but I don't think they necessarily fit your team. Gallade is the type of mon that fits on a bulky offense playstyle whereby uturn abd volt switch supports helps it come in more. An easy way to provide a decent defensive backbone for it is by fitting defensive landot + av magearna to blanket check physical and special atkers.'

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power Ice
- U-turn

Magearna @ Assault Vest
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Fleur Cannon
- Iron Head
- Hidden Power Fire
- Volt Switch

These 3 should kickstart ur team off decently well. As for the remaining 3 slots, how gallade works is that
  • you'll need something to weaken landot which is the most dominant physical wall in ou to free gallade which is a physical atker
  • you'll need 1 form of speed control, altho scarf tapu lele tends to work well with gallade because it can rk mega pinsir which is 1 of gallade's biggest enemies and then power up the zen head butt
  • should u decide on scarf tapu lele, you'll need something that prevents u from getting swept by scarf blacephalon for example tyranitar
Best of luck!

Thanks bro, thats the suggestions i need. I was testing this changes and i think that adding a scarf greninja will be good. I put the u-turn/avalanche/gunk shot/ice beam set to destroy lando and blacephalon.

Greninja @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Rock Slide
- U-turn
- Ice Beam
- Gunk Shot

Then i choose specs lele:

Tapu Lele @ Choice Specs
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Thunderbolt

I kept thinking that maybe psychock over psychic will be better.
However, i still looking for a 6th pokemon. Do you have any suggestion? My team lack for hazards control.
