Ok so this is my first RMT. I have been messing around with it for a few
weeks now, with lots of ups and downs. I would appreciate any and all
feedback, but like i said, im somewhat new so dont judge. This started as a
rain team i got from a different RMT, but i changed pretty much everything to
suit my needs. So here it is:
Azelf @ Life Orb
Naive Nature
4 HP, 252 Attk, 252 Speed
-Stealth Rock
-Fire Blast
-Zen Headbutt
-U-Turn
He's a reliable lead for me. Normally gets SR set up. EVs are simple, max
attack and speed. U-turn is for scouting, Zen Headbutt is for when he
needs to do damage. Fire blast is probably his most useful move. People
will often send in ferrothorn or scizor, and fire blast OHKOs both. Id be
plenty happy to switch him out for something better.
Celebi @ Life Orb
Modest Nature
232 HP, 240 Sp. Attk, 36 Speed
-Leaf Storm
-Earth Power
-Thunder Wave
-Recover
Mixed set, but i like it. He can absorb lots of attack that the rest of my
team hates, and can hit back with whatever. Thunder wave is nice if he
can't really damage whatever he's looking at (Dragonite, for example).
Leaf storm is for bulky water types, and his main damaging move. Earth
Power is pretty much for heatran, or when i really dont want the stat
drop. Recover is for durability. I also wouldnt mind switching him out.
Kingdra @lum berry
Lonely Nature
252 Attk, 112 Sp. Attk, 114 Speed
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Outrage
-HP Fire
Pretty standard here. Im using him over other dragons so i can have an
answer to rain teams. Swift swim + D dance + double STABed waterfall
hits like a truck. Outrage is for more damage. Lum berry can either make
the switch in safer, or it can mitigate outrage confusion. Hp fire is for
when he is out in the sun, and also for coverage.
Lucario @ Life orb
Adamant Nature
4 HP, 252 Attk, 252 Speed
-Swords Dance
-Extreme Speed
-Close Combat
-Bullet punch
I love this guy. If he can get off an SD, then its sweeping until LO recoil
kills him. Standard fare, but im running bullet punch over ice punch to kill
Gengar and other frail ghosts. Justified works great, because both azelf
and celebi lure dark type attacks, and sometimes people try to sucker
punch him.
Nidoking @ choice scarf
Timid Nature
4 Def, 252 Sp. Attk, 252 Speed
-Earth Power
-Thunderbolt
-Flamethrower
-ice beam
Probably the guy i am most open to switching. He's either too slow, or he
doesnt have the power he needs depending on what item he is using.
He has fantastic coverage, but he just doesnt do enough damage, even
with all his moves boosted by Sheer Force. I do like that he absorbs toxic
spikes though.
Terrakion @ Air Balloon
Jolly Nature
4 HP, 252 Attk, 252 Speed
-Swords Dance
-Rock polish
-Stone edge
-Close combat
When he works, he's amazing. It's pretty much that simple. Air balloon
gets him in for free, and sometimes gives him a turn of setup if he
switches into a choice-locked EQ. Other than that, nothing really unusual.
So theres my first RMT. I dont really know how to do the fancy formatting
either, so any advice there would be nice too, but mainly im focused on
the team. Thanks for the help!
